In a word, fabulous. The villa is located in a very quiet area, the stay was in perfect peace (the occasional and distant dog barking is not disturbing at all and the neighbors' dogs are completely calm). It's almost a miracle that the villa is also a few minutes drive from the centre of Funchal, also a large supermarket with groceries, meat, fish and everything you need and also a great starting point for any trip. Parking is in a large garage inside, driving in takes a bit of practice but any driver can do it. Plus you can choose to come from the upper or lower side (I found it convenient to come from the lower side and back into the garage). The villa is wonderfully spacious and clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfortable. And the view? The ocean. But I can't describe it, you have to experience it! What to conclude? Usually a week of vacation in one place is enough, but here it is not enough. I've never wanted to stay an extra week so much! So come back!

The house as such is ok, however requires some maintenance and replacement of equipment such as the coach, chairs and tables. The Kittchen was a mess upon our arrival and we had to spend the Christmas Eve cleaning it. Most of the Kitchen equipment is either worn out, dirty, incomplete or not working. We had to purchase a frying pan as the request to replace it was not followed, nor we received any reply where to purchase fire wood. At least the damaged dishwasher was replaced and a late checkout was possible. Overall not a good experience and we will try to avoid bookings offered by this Agency in the future.
