We stayed in the suite with heart-shaped tub. Something that has been on both of our bucket list for a long time. This is a small mom and pop operation. The grounds and the common areas on the exterior are well kept, neat, and tidy. The room itself was clean and tidy as well. It is however a little dated. There is a separate combined bathtub in shower in the bathroom however the shower head does not work and it is rusted. The bed was clean and comfortable and you will find this location to be one of the quietest sleeps you will ever have. Bring a little seasoned firewood with you as this motel has a fire pit that you can use and with there being hardly any light pollution night times in Michigan's thumb are something to behold. Great little place with reasonable rates and is a perfect midway point to several locations in Michigan's thumb.

Everything was great until i showered in the morning. The water made my skin feel slimy. There wasnt much parking and where our room was we couldnt see our vehicle. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Water heater was broken, giving a rotten egg smell when hot water was being used. The office manager gave a refund for the inconvenience and had a technician coming to replace it. Aside from that. Everything was great. We have stayed here before and it was perfect.

Great stay. Nice owners/workers. Clean room. Quiet stay. Ice machine didnt work during our stay that would be my only complaint. Love that breakfast goes till 10 allowing you to sleep in and still make it!

Room was fine, outside entrance. Made to.look like a log cabin. Room was quite large. Door to bathroom was almost impossible to close. Opened out into room and rubbed on carpet. It is soon going to come off of hinges. It's an easy fix, take it off and plane 1/2 inch off the bottom. This makes us feel.like the owner doesn't care to figure out how to fix the problem. Had to keep curtains closed all the time due to people walking on the deck right outside the room. Really not a breakfast to speak of. Either offer something decent or forget about it. We ate elsewhere..

I liked that you could park right in front of the door to your room. The breakfast bar is clean, and quiet and offered just what you needed to start the day. The refrigerator in the rom was large enough to store the contents of our cooler and the beds were comfortable. The only negative is the location right on a main road with cars whizzing by.

My son and I stayed overnight ahead of an early morning duck hunt at Fish Point Wildlife Refuge in Unionville—just a quick 25-minute drive from the hotel. Our room featured two queen beds that were exceptionally comfortable, and everything was spotless. We especially appreciated being able to open the window and enjoy some fresh air. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Although we had to leave before breakfast was served, they thoughtfully offered us a couple of granola bars for the road, which was a nice touch. The price was very reasonable for what we needed, and the overall experience was quiet and restful. If we’d had more time, I would’ve loved to take advantage of the outdoor amenities like the grill and firepit. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially for future trips to Fish Point.

Staff was friendly and kind but the traffic at night was very noisy especially if you stay in room#1. Trucks passing by at all hours of the night made for a restless night of sleep. The carpet is old and dirty. The price seems high for the amenities but the location was near where I needed to be.

For a modest property, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. Very adequate and squeaky clean. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We stayed here for the first time over thanksgiving. When we checked in, the lady was nice. The room was perfect - clean, large, comfortable. The beds were fairly comfortable. The bathroom was clean and there was good water pressure. The fridge and microwave in the room was nice. And the table and chairs was nice too. Checkout at 11 is also nice and late. The property was quiet - we never heard anyone else while we were there. We will always stay here for our future visits to Caro.

We used a double room w/2 queen beds. It needs new mattresses &/or mattress comfort mattress pads. Toilets need to be much taller - difficult to use. It was Very clean but sparsely furnished.

This hotel was 10 mins away from where we needed to be the next day. Beds were super soft which was not comfortable to someone who sleeps on a firm bed lol. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was eh, but was nice to get something. I couldn’t check out late, he said room was not available next day( ya ok 👍 🙄), so we had to wait around in our car for an hour + because where we needed to be wasn’t open. Other than that it was a clean, quiet, quick and convenient place to stay. We may comeback here when in the area again. We did happen to come across this cute little farm, Country Roads Farm! 2150 E. Snover Rd. Mayville, MI. They have a cute little petting zoo, farm stand and even have mini highland cows who love to cuddle! They have ice cream to cool your family off as well on a hot summer day! It’s very close to this hotel and if you’re staying there and looking for something to do check it out! You won’t regret it!

My son got married in Fairgrove Michigan July 15th. My husband and I got a room at the Woodyzzz Motel. Our adult daughter and family also got a room. I found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. The owners were wonderful people. Very friendly. Even bringing out sidewalk chalk for the grandchildren to draw on the sidewalk with. Also taking pictures of them. I highly recommend the Woodyzz Motel.

This is my go to place when I need to stay in Caro. The owner good very kind and keeps the rooms nice and clean. I have never had any issues during my many stays here.

Location was good, great rates. Pretty clean, shower had some dents that left open ceramic and the same in the tub. Overbearing essential oil smells. Beds were just par. No one in the office upon check out.

It is kind of in the middle of nowhere and was very quiet. Being away from the cities was a great choice. It's small and cozy, and very clean. The price was also amazing. I will stay here again.

Staff was friendly and kind but the traffic at night was very noisy especially if you stay in room#1. Trucks passing by at all hours of the night made for a restless night of sleep. The carpet is old and dirty. The price seems high for the amenities but the location was near where I needed to be.

I liked that you could park right in front of the door to your room. The breakfast bar is clean, and quiet and offered just what you needed to start the day. The refrigerator in the rom was large enough to store the contents of our cooler and the beds were comfortable. The only negative is the location right on a main road with cars whizzing by.

Great family run Motel. Clean Room, friendly check in and out. We stayed for the Frankenmuth car show and they charged a reasonable amount for the rooms. Just a very short drive to some good restaurants too.

Not intuitive on how to switch from bath to shower mode. TV did not recognize cable box signal and “continental breakfast” was very underwhelming. Exterior of the property was cute however the interior carpet was musty as ac was turned off until we entered room and it was a hot humid day. Not sure I’d stay here again

We wanted a place to stay, that was out of the way and quiet, for our 25th anniversary. The room was clean and cozy. We like the log cabin feel. The Jacuzzi tub was relaxing. The motel is within close distance to a host of restaurants (national chain and local eateries). The only negative we have, the water. It leaves you feeling slimy. Not sure if this is just from it being well water or something in the water... The continental breakfast was not so great, but we did find a wonderful local restaurant in town to eat at. Overall, it was a good experience.

Motel was what we expected. The room was clean and the service was very good. Not much of a breakfast choice - just coffee and cereal. The room needed a chair to sit in. Only chairs were dining table chairs. Overall not bad. We would stay again.

Room was fine, outside entrance. Made to.look like a log cabin. Room was quite large. Door to bathroom was almost impossible to close. Opened out into room and rubbed on carpet. It is soon going to come off of hinges. It's an easy fix, take it off and plane 1/2 inch off the bottom. This makes us feel.like the owner doesn't care to figure out how to fix the problem. Had to keep curtains closed all the time due to people walking on the deck right outside the room. Really not a breakfast to speak of. Either offer something decent or forget about it. We ate elsewhere..

The desk clerk was very helpful. Paid extra for the jet tub but it was working properly. Two on the side worked, the two on the back barely worked, the feet and leg jets didn't work at all. The water smelled like sulfur. Room otherwise was great. The breakfast was not good. No water for coffee, no hot water for the oatmeal, no plates for the bagels. Very disappointed. We would stay again if things improved. Again, the desk clerk was great.

Hotel was fine. It was clean but dated. Breakfast was a pack of bagels, pop tarts, and prepackaged honey buns. Hotel desk called us 2 hours before the front desk closed at 11pm to make sure we were still coming which was strange.

Nice and quiet place to stay. Could stock necessities little better/more so don’t hav to find someone and ask. When asked, wasn’t super friendly at all and literally gave one roll of toilet paper and one trash bag wjen there’s two trash cans n the room. I would stay there again tho like said it’s a nice play

The room was clean, and spacious. The parking was right outside of our room. The staff was very friendly . The refrigerator was larger than "hotel room" refrigerator/freezers (approximately 4ft. high). They had a fire pit for guests to have a bonfire, and a grill for guest use, but it was a very rainy day / evening when we stayed, so we didn't have the opportunity to utilize those amenities. We will be staying again when we go to Frankenmuth,MI. It was a very good price, and just a short drive to Frankenmuth and Birch Run from the hotel
