On arrival, we were met promptly by Charles, the owner. Check-in was a breeze and we were shown to our room. We scheduled a time for breakfast the next morning and asked if there were any gluten free options available. Charles said he would see what he could do. Our room was very spacious and very clean. There were waters in the mini refrigerator for us. In the morning, Charles and his wife prepared a fantastic breakfast of poached eggs, cold meats, cheese, yogurt bread and croissants. He even went above and beyond with a “special delivery” of gluten free bread and rolls. Overall, our room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, the rooms were decorated with period pieces from WW II and Charles and his wife were terrific hosts. We are already planning to return next year to explore the Normandy area further. We would highly, (10/10), recommend the Domaine Airborne.

What a find! If you are visiting that area of Normandy and are interested in the events of the 6th June 1944, this is the place to stay. All the rooms have a period feel and nicely decorated accordingly, but all the modern features you could want. The 'Mess' is full of the owners original WW2 vast collection and even has the body tub of a Willy's Jeep used as a coat rack! Charles the owner was very welcoming and full of information and suggestions for places to visit and eat in during our stay. The breakfast was excellent and hospitality second to none. Highly recommended.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce très bel endroit, le décor est superbe, on voit bien que le propriétaire des lieux est un véritable passionné du D Day, compte tenu de la déco dans la salle de repas, parking sur place, chambre très confortable et très propre, petit déjeuner extra, il ne manque rien!!!👍👍. On recommande fortement.

Great location to base from when in Normandy. Continuing to renovate the facility. Very nice breakfast. Our host Charles and his wife were wonderful. Many ideas on what to see around the B&B. Loved it.

Stayed here for one night during a tour of Normandy. Wow! This place is incredible. Our room was incredibly comfortable, clean and rustic finished to very high specifications. The site itself is perfectly located within very short distance's from many historical WW2 sites. The best part about this place is Charles, the Dutch Owner. Clearly he has an eye for attention to detail and he and his wife are the most attentive hosts I’ve ever encountered. He is a walking encyclopaedia of WW2 with an impressive collection of artefacts which he proudly shows. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely return. Thank you Charles for the best stay I think I’ve ever had.

Hotel incrivel para quem gosta de historia, prédio histórico bem preservado, decoração da segunda gerra mundial com itens originais. O quarto é confortavel, banheiro reformado e muito bom, a decoração é incrivel. O atendimento foi excelente, hotel com poucos hóspedes e atendimento personalizado, o dono do Hotel realiza também passeios guiados pela região. Cafe da manha muito bom. Melhor hotel que nos hospedamos na Normandia, é uma experiência de hospedagem de interior da França agregado a muita historia. .

Wonderful place - just like the pictures on the website. Rooms were clean and nice. Excellent hospitality, the whole family was pleased. The owner explained everything well, gave good advice about the landmarks near Normandy. Just all and all a very good place to stay. The atmosphere was amazing and cozy in a way. If you like history that involves WW2, this hotel is an excellent place and a must to stop by for.

Had a wonderful stay here for our last day, the hosts were really accommodating and polite, the room (we stayed in Barrack I) was brilliant and spotless, and the breakfast superb! It is decorated in a really classy and considered way rather than being cheesy or over the top. We will definitely go back!

We spent 2 nights here in mid August and had an fantastic stay. My 10yr old Son is a WW2 enthusiast and in his own words "an amazing hotel with some really interesting relics, the room was fantastic and looked like a 1940s bedroom, would definitely stay again". Such a nice place to unwind after a day of sight seeing and the owners put up a great breakfast so youre ready for the next day! Cant wait to return!

Booked a 5 day stay at Domain Airborne as a central HQ for a Normandy Airborne drop zone trip. Absolutely amazing place to stay. Charles & Ana, owners made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their property is situated in amazing countryside and the property is of exceptional standards. A step back in time with all the mod cons and as a US military buff we both felt at home. Used Domaine Airborne as close to brilliant DDay museums and easy access to exceptional French restaurants in near by St mare Eglise. I would without hesitation give a 5 Star rating for our stay and for the attentiveness to giving a standard of service above and beyond. Thank you Charles and Ana for making our stay with you a truly amazing experience

There were waters in the mini refrigerator for us. In the morning, Charles and his wife prepared a fantastic breakfast of poached eggs, cold meats, cheese, yogurt bread and croissants. He even went above and beyond with a “special delivery” of gluten free bread and rolls. Overall, our room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, the rooms were decorated with period pieces from WW II and Charles and his wife were terrific hosts. We are already planning to return next year to explore the Normandy area further. We would highly, (10/10), recommend the Domaine Airborne.

Booked a 5 day stay at Domain Airborne as a central HQ for a Normandy Airborne drop zone trip. Absolutely amazing place to stay. Charles & Ana, owners made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their property is situated in amazing countryside and the property is of exceptional standards. A step back in time with all the mod cons and as a US military buff we both felt at home. Used Domaine Airborne as close to brilliant DDay museums and easy access to exceptional French restaurants in near by St mare Eglise. Das B&B ist schon selbst ein Museum sämtlicher D-Day Artefakte mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Das leckere franz. Frühstück hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, es hat an nichts gemangelt. Personal war auch freundlich und spricht sogar Englisch (sowie Deutsch), was in Frankreich nicht selbstverständlich ist.

Hotel incrivel para quem gosta de historia, prédio histórico bem preservado, decoração da segunda gerra mundial com itens originais. O quarto é confortavel, banheiro reformado e muito bom, a decoração é incrivel. Wonderful place - just like the pictures on the website. Rooms were clean and nice. Excellent hospitality, the whole family was pleased. The owner explained everything well, gave good advice about the landmarks near Normandy. Just all and all a very good place to stay. The atmosphere was amazing and cozy in a way. If you like history that involves WW2, this hotel is an excellent place and a must to stop by for.

great location in Carentan and the host is very knowledgeable about the area and historic sites. A lot of effort has been put in the look and the feel of the accomodation and breakfast room with authentic war memorabilia. We stayed 1 night and travelled down the coast with a 2nd night closer to Sword beach but in hindsight we should’ve stayed in Carentan for both nights.

Stayed here for one night during a tour of Normandy. Wow! This place is incredible. Our room was incredibly comfortable, clean and rustic finished to very high specifications. The site itself is perfectly located within very short distance's from many historical WW2 sites. The best part about this place is Charles, the Dutch Owner. Clearly he has an eye for attention to detail and he and his wife are the most attentive hosts I’ve ever encountered. He is a walking encyclopaedia of WW2 with an impressive collection of artefacts which he proudly shows. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely return. Thank you Charles for the best stay I think I’ve ever had.

On arrival, we were met promptly by Charles, the owner. Check-in was a breeze and we were shown to our room. Had a wonderful stay here for our last day, the hosts were really accommodating and polite, the room (we stayed in Barrack I) was brilliant and spotless, and the breakfast superb! It is decorated in a really classy and considered way rather than being cheesy or over the top. We will definitely go back!

We had a great stay at Domaine Airborne. It is a fantastic place - very interesting and really well set up - thoughtfully referencing the history of the area. The breakfasts are great and the hosts look after their guests very well. We had a very relaxing stay there thank you.

My 10yr old Son is a WW2 enthusiast and in his own words "an amazing hotel with some really interesting relics, the room was fantastic and looked like a 1940s bedroom, would definitely stay again". Such a nice place to unwind after a day of sight seeing and the owners put up a great breakfast so youre ready for the next day! Cant wait to return!
