A short 5min walk from Sant Agnello railway station snd close to a number of restaurants. Ideal for Pompeii, about an hour away, snd Sorrento, which is one more stop on the train or 30 min walk. The srea surrounding the hotel is lovely and peaceful, if you ignore the Moto scooters that are everywhere and the church bells. The hotel used to be a convent, hence it's name. It is bright, clean and spacious. We had a classic double room with air con. Very comfortable. Good shower. The breakfast is in two sittings so you choose the night before. There was always plenty of space so I imagine this helps them during busy periods. The staff were wonderful. Always a lovely welcome from reception and at breakfast where the staff are very attentive. This is really a,B&B which suited us perfectly as we spent most days out and about. There is a shuttle service to Sorrento for an additional charge but it's a flat walk if you prefer. Sant Agnello is a quiet resort so if you want something livelier head to Sorrento which is a lot busier. This was a great base from which to explore this region, especially by train. We travelled from Rome to Naples and then on the Campania Express, not a luxury train but easy to use, cheap and functional. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and would recommend the Unconventional
