Nothing unique. It was a basic room for a low price. We had to park a significantly far away. And no parking information was provided on where or how to park. We ended up getting a ticket for parking in a no parking zone, even though we parked on a street in the middle of other cars parked in the same area. It would have been nice to have some type of information provided. This hotel is listed as a four star, but I don’t know how that was received. The rooms were small, with hardly any extras or essentials provided.

I had to change my reservation by one week due to a bad cold. I had missed the deadline for cancelling but Hotel 66 was accommodating and gave me full refund for the change. I really liked the hotel from the minute I entered. I was greeted by Victor, the man who helped me with my changed dates. He, like all the staff I met during my stay, were friendly, greeted me by name and responded well to all my questions and requests. The room, while basic, met all my needs. The bed was super comfortable and I had good night sleep from the beginning. It was relatively quiet and with black out curtains I was able to take naps in the afternoon. I took breakfast 3 of my 7 days. The eggs made to order by the chef were excellent. There is a good choice of items including cheese, fresh baguettes and croissants and pastries, fresh fruit and cereal. They have a machine that makes a variety of coffees and they have juice and yogurts including probiotic drink which I enjoyed. Finally. They provide free coffee, tea and bottled water 24/7. I especially appreciated the bottled water as I like sparking water and they offered that along with still water. It was great for my room as well on my daily walks. The hotel is well situated, mere minutes from the train station and Jean Medicin for the tram. The hotel is easily accessible from the tram to and from airport, an easy 8-10 minute walk to hotel. There are several restaurants I enjoyed nearby as well.

***** Magnificent spot in Nice — centrally located, very close to public transport, just off the main walking and shopping street, but quiet. Rooms have recently been refurbished, interior design is sleek, freshly prepared breakfast shall meet the expectations of visitors from all overage world (10€ per person/day). Hotel staff is nice, supportive, flexible and fluent in several languages. In a nutshell: A fantastic hotel, moderately priced (off-season) that deserves a 5 stars recommendation *****
