Check-in and leadup were simple as always. SMS followups and emails were easy to follow on how to fill in the local property manager company details and payments. Upon arriving - we were advised a 4pm check-in was normal and we got there around 415-430 and cleaners were still doing the rounds. Lighting for the stairwell going from carport up to the house only triggered from the carport so going back down in the evening is bordering on dangerous. We flagged with the property manager that most of the outside lights were not working on the first day (stayed for 4 nights). We had to detour back to the house on the second day so someone could 'check we had flicked the right switches and there werent any circuit breaker / fuse issues'. I'd already done that myself and could have easily sent photos. Can understand wanting to check things before sending electricians but they didn't come until the 3rd night and couldn't fix anything so had to come back the following day to replace every light (including an internal downlight in the bungalow that it's wiring had been chewed through by something in the roof). 5 outside lights and an internal light in the bungalow replaced which meant our ability to use the outside area in the evenings was not possible safely until the final night of our stay. No offer of partial refund or anything from property manager or from the owner. I've stayed with this group before in the Mornington area but really let down this time around. A pity!

The house needs maintenance. Decking area looks shabby. The door to the sleep out needs attention, doesn’t open properly and is damaging the floor. Reported to customer service there was an uninvited guest scratching and running around the inside walls at night. They did attend quickly. Good place for groups, plenty of crockery, glasses etc.
