What you see is not what you get! Chambre de luxe: mur abîmé, peinture sur plinthe, miroir Touch screen salle de bain non fonctionnel et qui flash, lumière au Led blanc froid - pas terrible pour le romantisme, bain douche qui requiert un petit banc pour y grimper - et sans rideau de douche. Piscine mal entretenue, algues vertes dans les parties ombragées, tuiles devant le bar du roof top cassées, drains de plastiques autour de la piscine brisés, éclats de sang sur le mur donnant accès à la piscine non nettoyés, etc etc. Un gros manque d’entretien général, et si on avait pu quitter pour aller ailleurs, on l’aurait fait. Heureusement qu’ils ont un personnel accueillant (Kay et Van, puis Duong au bar)!

Really good hotel, great location & rooftop area, pool & bar, was excellent. Staff were very helpful. Only slight negative was the bath in the room. The side of the bath was very high and if you have mobility issues this will be a problem. The shower head above the bath was low for someone over 5 feet 8 inches.

A lovely hotel with five star staff. Hotel in perfect location. Hotel rooftop pool area still undergoing renovation work. Heavy clunky wooden sun beds with no cushion cover is the only negative of our wonderful stay.

Easy access to the beach Bãi Bà Kèo; the room is very clean, it has a lot of spaces, rooftop pool is excellent, nice ocean view and breakfast buffet is great with local fruits, we are really enjoying it! Definitely come back to stay next time.

- A very nice, charming newly built hotel. We did enjoyed our stay at Aquasun. Everything seemed good to us - Friendly & helpful staff - Room is clean comfortable with the lovely view, they offer us a nice upgrade to seaview for free :) - The beach is very nearby just 100m walk, Nice beach. Location is convenient just right of the center, What make us love about this location is we can enjoy a beach bar next door, very chill place to sunbath and get lazy on the bean bag :) - Rooftop swimming pool offer very nice view with top of Phu Quoc - Worth every penny and highly recommend Aquasun

We had a rough start with a harried front desk lady - but they made amends. If you have an option - the guys at the front desk are more helpful with better English. Our room was large, quiet and with comfortable beds and a partial ocean view. There is a small rooftop infinity pool which was nice. We were a three minute walk to the main road with tons of restaurant and bars. There was a great little restaurant called Grandmas Kitchen just a few steps away. A bit south of the main Duong Dong town which was great because the middle of town is noisy and crowded. The beach is a 3 minute walk cutting through beachfront resorts. There is a free electric bus that runs from the airport through town every 10 minutes which was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was very good with something for everyone. I do recommend Aquasun.

새벽2시도착이라...0.5박하려고 잠시 머물었던 숙소에요! 일단 그냥 모텔같아요..시설은 좀 오래된느낌이고..청결도 별루ㅜㅜ 조식 포함 그냥 가성비만 괞찬은것같아요!!

Nice hotel but the window curtains in the bathroom were moldy and smelled. The staff was very friendly and kind. Th breakfast buffet was good and the restaurant looked clean.

The hotel is newly built and looks really nice. But the room was not cleaned properly at all times, and the staff also forgot dirty equipment in our room. A few days we did not recieve any coffee nor fresh water. The shower did not have any hot water for any of the 3 weeks we stayed there. We also had a lamp turning on itself in the middle of the nights whenever it was windy. Airport transfer was free and you can rent scooters for more expensive price than on the streets. The hotel only accept cash payments

L hôtel est bien localisé dans un secteur tranquille et proche de la plage. Le buffet du déjeuner est varié et change à tous les jours. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. La chambre de toute beauté, propre, le lit très confortable et une salle de bain spacieuse. Nous avions une vue sur la mer et le coucher du soleil. La piscine sur le toit est grande avec une vue partout.
L hôtel est bien localisé dans un secteur tranquille et proche de la plage. Le buffet du déjeuner est varié et change à tous les jours. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. Wir haben 3 Zimmer gebucht Wir wurden am Flughafen abgeholt und ins Hotel gefahren und es hat alles gut geklappt. Das Hotel hat uns sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und helfen einen. Wenn man Kinder hat bekommt man eine größere Zimmer, was eigentlich nicht üblich ist. Wir haben über das Hotel Touren gebucht und die Preise sind nicht zu teuer. Alles im ganzen kann ich jeden empfehlen dieses Hotel zu buchen, wir werden auf jeden Fall noch mal dieses Hotel buchen 😀 Übrigens das Hotel liegt in 2 Minuten vom Strand zu Fuß entfernt und am Strand gibt jedem Abend ab 22 Uhr eine Feuershow, das hann ich nur empfehlen. Also ich wünsche allen einen schönen Urlaub 🌞 🏝️

Mr. Nam front desk attendant was extremely helpful and nice. Hotel is clean and maintained well. The laundry service was better than expected. Our room didn’t have hot water, only warm but everything else was great.

Great stay. Beautiful new hotel. Good breakfast for a meat eater but very few options for vegetarians aside from toast/cereal. Wifi slow on 7th floor. Rented scooter from the hotel and it was easy and inexpensive!

I stayed 4 nights so far. The room was perfect Very clean, well planned, functional and comfortable. Everything you need. Unfortunslely there was a guest smoking in The balcony belie, so my room was not always smoke-free. The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of different options to try and pleadsnt service. The pool on the roof is refreshing, at times a bit windy. The water in the shower was also refreshing... so no really hot water but luckily in this clinate it doesn't matter so much.

We had a rough start with a harried front desk lady - but they made amends. If you have an option - the guys at the front desk are more helpful with better English. Our room was large, quiet and with comfortable beds and a partial ocean view. There is a small rooftop infinity pool which was nice. We were a three minute walk to the main road with tons of restaurant and bars. There was a great little restaurant called Grandmas Kitchen just a few steps away. A bit south of the main Duong Dong town which was great because the middle of town is noisy and crowded. The beach is a 3 minute walk cutting through beachfront resorts. There is a free electric bus that runs from the airport through town every 10 minutes which was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was very good with something for everyone. I do recommend Aquasun.

Overall we had a lovely stay at Aquasun. The hotel itself is beautiful throughout. Breakfast buffet options were fabulous, though perhaps not as many vegetarian options (which we found on Phụ Quoc generally). Staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay and experience the island. We did find the rooms somewhat noisy (adjourning rooms had families with young children and the noise woke us early). The surrounding area doesn’t reflect the high standards of the hotel, but does reflect the standards of the way of life for many locals. Lots of amazing food and nightlife options in walking distance and we felt safe wandering around the nearby streets. We had a few minor issues with the room but generally an excellent stay. We would stay again and recommend to others. Terrific value for money!

Van was amazing and ensure our stay was amazing. She ensured we were able to get around and even recommended a private driver. Room is in decent condition for 1 night stay but it the service that is amazing there.

Really Awesome hotel with remarkable staffs all the front desk staffs are so caring , polite and very helpful . Ms Van you are really wonderful recommended nice and wonderful places for us to visit and the arrangement of transport was fantastic. Hotel also provide pick up and sending service to Airport free that extra mile service . Thumps up .

We are family of 5 - took 2 executive rooms. Hotel staff is very kind and helpful. Assisted us with anything we needed. For extra services (transportation, attractions) they charged as the market prices without any fees or commissions. Food was ok, we don’t eat meat and chicken, they kindly offered us some options. Location is walkable from the Main Street where all the restaurants and shops are.

If we could, we would give 10+ for Nam with “glasses” (front desk reception) and the hotel owners for going beyond of taking great care of us during our stay!!! I was sick for two days. On the third day, I called the front desk reception, Nam answered and advised us to go to the SOS clinic (prompt and thorough service) instead of the hospital (long wait) or the other clinic nearby. To our surprised when we came down for breakfast, Nam advised us that he had booked a complimentary taxi to take us to the SOS clinic. While we were having breakfast, a well mannered lady (later found out from Nam that she is the owner) noticed that I wasn’t eating all of my food on my plate and wanted to know if there was anything she can do. I told her that I wasn’t well with my throat hurting when swallowing. She said that I must have strep throat (which was confirmed later by the doctor) and asked if I have rinsed my mouth with salt water. I responded “no” and later send some up to our room. The total cost including doctor checkup, X-ray, blood test and medication was 1.5 M dong (equivalent to $82 CAD). The whole process only took 1.5 hrs which is the fastest result that I have ever experienced! Within two hrs of taking the medication my throat no longer hurts. Upon learning of our early departure at 5 AM, Nam offered a complimentary taxi to the airport and packed up sandwiches and drinks for us. We have recommended this hotel to my family and friends! We definitely will come back!!!

From the moment we got to the hotel, we were greeted with such kindness. The amenities were great - especially the pool. The free breakfast was very filling. Though the beds were hard, we enjoyed our rooms immensely. Beautiful ocean view. Thank you for your hospitality, especially Nam at reception!

This was our first time staying in Aquasun and we found it to be a nice clean hotel within a close distance to both the beach and the main shops and restaurants. The morning buffet was varied and tasty and the sea views from the rooftop were impressive. The pool is partly covered which means it would be pleasant to swim in the warmer months but unfortunately just a little too cold for us this time. Altogether a great place for reasonable rates and we will look to return next time on Phu Quoc

Ok hotell med stort rum, men är ju inte sånt hotell man vill bo på sånt här ställe. Rätt ocharmigt. Vi bytte till bo på närliggande resort vid stranden. Läget på hotellet är dock bra, nära till restauranger och strand. Frukosten var stökig och högljöd. Man ville mest därifrån. Passade inte oss alls. Trevlig personal.

Great stay. Beautiful new hotel. Good breakfast for a meat eater but very few options for vegetarians aside from toast/cereal. Wifi slow on 7th floor. Rented scooter from the hotel and it was easy and inexpensive!

Easy access to the beach Bãi Bà Kèo; the room is very clean, it has a lot of spaces, rooftop pool is excellent, nice ocean view and breakfast buffet is great with local fruits, we are really enjoying it! Definitely come back to stay next time.

L hôtel est bien localisé dans un secteur tranquille et proche de la plage. Le buffet du déjeuner est varié et change à tous les jours. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. La chambre de toute beauté, propre, le lit très confortable et une salle de bain spacieuse. Nous avions une vue sur la mer et le coucher du soleil. La piscine sur le toit est grande avec une vue partout.

our family of four stayed in a double queen bed accommodation. It was a convenient location for us and not far from the airport. the room was a bit small for us and our luggage. I would opt for a bigger room or separate rooms next time. the free breakfast was great for us in the mornings with many options for different food restrictions we had. the fan in the bathroom didn’t work too well, leaving the bathroom quite hot after showers. the view from the room was nice and the staff was accommodating. we requested for a safe to be put in our room as one was not already there. the cleaning service was prompt and friendly. overall, we would stay here again!

Breakfast buffet options were fabulous, though perhaps not as many vegetarian options (which we found on Phụ Quoc generally). Staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay and experience the island. We did find the rooms somewhat noisy (adjourning rooms had families with young children and the noise woke us early). The surrounding area doesn’t reflect the high standards of the hotel, but does reflect the standards of the way of life for many locals. Lots of amazing food and nightlife options in walking distance and we felt safe wandering around the nearby streets. We had a few minor issues with the room but generally an excellent stay. We would stay again and recommend to others. Terrific value for money!

Ms Van was very experienced with her jobs cope and recommendations too . The arrangements is awesome and she did an upgrade room for 4 of us with Seaview so beautiful anyway this is our 2nd time with Aquasun after 2 years . Breakfast is nice too as they change some dishes every day as we were there 5 days. Except maybe they can have more choices on eggs counter like Sunny side and soft boil egg ( poached) that will be better Hope to go back again as is a nice hotel with great food nearby and of course King Kong Mart .

Stay Elsewhere – NOT a 4 star hotel as they claim! From the moment we arrived, this place was a disaster. Staff initially refused us entry, only letting us in after I showed our booking confirmation. Reception was dirty, cluttered with old fans and cleaning equipment,. We booked a two-bedroom apartment but received two connecting rooms instead. Both were stifling hot on arrival, and we were told we couldn’t keep the connecting door open as it would affect the already ineffective air conditioning. Each room only had one key, so the power and AC shut off when we left, meaning we constantly returned to unbearable heat. The fridges didn’t work and were full of visible mould. Bathrooms were filthy, with hair in the showers and stained bathmats. There were no shower curtains, so water flooded the floors, and the showers were awkward and unsafe to access. Beds were uncomfortable with holes in the sheets. The pool entrance outside our rooms caused constant wet floors and a mouldy smell. Noisy fans and exposed cords were left running in the hallway. Safe alarms kept going off, and only one was fixed. Breakfast was disgusting, and the dining area was so dirty we couldn’t eat there. Management was unreachable, only responding via WhatsApp until we asked for a refund—then they ignored us. Even Expedia struggled to contact them, and when they finally did, the hotel denied all issues. Avoid this place! We left 2 days into our 8 days booked & stayed at the Crowne Plaza which was amazing!!
