Aquasun Hotel Phu Quoc

Personalen på hotellet var väldigt tillmötesgående och trevliga. Toppnotch! Hotellet anser vi är ett 3-(ej 4) stjärnigt hotell. Lite slitet och en del grejer trasiga/sönder på hotellrummet. Badkaret ej handikappvänligt då det är högt och bred kant. Frukosten godkänd och tillräcklig. Gymmet och poolområdet på taket undermåligt och i behov av upprustning. Hotellets läge är mycket bra, nära stranden och huvudgatan.

Ok hotell med stort rum, men är ju inte sånt hotell man vill bo på sånt här ställe. Rätt ocharmigt. Vi bytte till bo på närliggande resort vid stranden. Läget på hotellet är dock bra, nära till restauranger och strand. Frukosten var stökig och högljöd. Man ville mest därifrån. Passade inte oss alls. Trevlig personal.

Vi har lite svårt att förklara varför, ingen riktig anledning, men trivdes inte speciellt bra. Vi checkade ut flera dagar i förväg och bytte hotell. Hotellet är rent och fräscht och det finns vad man behöver. Men jämfört med alla andra hotell vi bodde på under resan i Vietnam, saknades något. Personalen var ”neutrala”, inte de där leendena vi vant oss vid. Belysningen är kall och hotellet saknar en ”varm känsla”. Obs! Det finns en balkong - precis som det står, men liten så inga stolar får plats. Ligger nära havet men tar ändå en liten stund att gå dit pga vägarna. Vi lämnade frukosten och köpte på stan istället.

Ms Van was very experienced with her jobs cope and recommendations too . The arrangements is awesome and she did an upgrade room for 4 of us with Seaview so beautiful anyway this is our 2nd time with Aquasun after 2 years . Breakfast is nice too as they change some dishes every day as we were there 5 days. Except maybe they can have more choices on eggs counter like Sunny side and soft boil egg ( poached) that will be better Hope to go back again as is a nice hotel with great food nearby and of course King Kong Mart .

Stay Elsewhere – NOT a 4 star hotel as they claim! From the moment we arrived, this place was a disaster. Staff initially refused us entry, only letting us in after I showed our booking confirmation. Reception was dirty, cluttered with old fans and cleaning equipment,. We booked a two-bedroom apartment but received two connecting rooms instead. Both were stifling hot on arrival, and we were told we couldn’t keep the connecting door open as it would affect the already ineffective air conditioning. Each room only had one key, so the power and AC shut off when we left, meaning we constantly returned to unbearable heat. The fridges didn’t work and were full of visible mould. Bathrooms were filthy, with hair in the showers and stained bathmats. There were no shower curtains, so water flooded the floors, and the showers were awkward and unsafe to access. Beds were uncomfortable with holes in the sheets. The pool entrance outside our rooms caused constant wet floors and a mouldy smell. Noisy fans and exposed cords were left running in the hallway. Safe alarms kept going off, and only one was fixed. Breakfast was disgusting, and the dining area was so dirty we couldn’t eat there. Management was unreachable, only responding via WhatsApp until we asked for a refund—then they ignored us. Even Expedia struggled to contact them, and when they finally did, the hotel denied all issues. Avoid this place! We left 2 days into our 8 days booked & stayed at the Crowne Plaza which was amazing!!
