Located close to the city hall square and a transit stop. The spaces were clean but storage for your stuff was complicated. A locker fitting a regular size backpack was provided. Towels were for rent, not included. The fridge was jammed with stuff.

The property is well located on George street, a main shopping hub for dining, bars, and clothing outlets. Property itself is well kept by service staff. Plenty of thought for the long or short term stay. Includes, communal kitchen, fridges, cooker, microwave, hob, etc. communal space for free pool table and area for mix with other travellers socially. Also a laundry facility. They don't provide free towels these are at a cost of $3. The capsules are okay for a night's rest, but bare in mind they are off plastic construction, so opening and closing the capsule can appear to be loud. Lockers are available to store luggage etc.

Positive: The capsules are private, quiet and cosy. Bedding was very clean. Negative: They charge $5 for towels, and that day there was a laundry mix up and they didn't have any available. Staff was very nice, but no towels. :/

The concept of a space capsule was interesting, and everything worked well and was very clean inside the capsule. Definitely not for you if you are claustrophobic! The womens bathrooms left a lot to be desired and lacked privacy and security. First the access to the bathroom facilities was located next to the communal kitchen and lounge area and there was no security / card required to access the outer door. The showers were tiny and the only place to put your things was in a small sink. Also the shower cubicle door was just frosted glass and others wanting to use the toilet at the end had to walk past the showers to get to toilet. And the toilet didnt flush properly.

Cet hôtel capsule est la version 2.0 du dortoir. Bonne nouvelle, j'ai bien dormi dans cette capsule, le lit est confortable, attention la ventilation fait un peu du bruit. Mauvaise nouvelle, c'est le nombre de toilettes et douches par étage (3 toilettes et 3 douches pour 30 lits) et surtout leurs étroitesses; dans les WC les genoux touchent la porte, dans les douches impossible d'y rentrer habillé, il faut se déshabiller dans le couloir. Il y a aussi une armoire fermée disponible mais impossible d'y faire rentrer une valise, elle doit rester dans le dortoir. Bref, ok pour une nuit mais pas plus.

It was okay, not the best hostel I've been to. Thought it was odd you had to pay for luggage storage. The cleaner said you can leave your big luggage behind the desk, there was no one there. When I checked in they said you can leave you big suitcase in the room because it locks. Maybe I was in the one room that didn't lock. Facilities were okay.

Good little capsule hotel for the price. Pros: the staff were super helpful when my pod/locker had issues. Price and location are great. Felt safe while there. Cons. Some of the toilets are so small you need to sit side ways on the toilet. But others are much better. When I was there one of the three showers on my floor didn’t produce anymore than a dribble

I'm giving it two stars, One for the concept of a private, quiet and inexpensive stay at a central location, and one star for the helpful, diligent but overworked staff. Everything else was TERRIBLE!!! The toilets and showers were filthy, cramped and insufficient. The plumbing was terrible and the tapware was rusty, loose and dirty. The floors and walls were moldy. The sound insulation between the capsules was missing which means you could not get a good night's sleep. The mattress was too thin.

Trots bilderna hotels.com är stället riktigt sunkigt. Sov-kapslarna är slitna och i vissa fall dåligt lagande med skruvar och tejp. Vissa gäster verkar också bo permanent och har fyllt gemensamma ytor med sina saker så att städning också blir dålig. Badrum och toaletter är trånga och slitna och dåligt städade.

I did not have many choices in the last-minute booking during the Sydney marathon period. This property has nothing other than the location. The facility is in worse condition, the bed sheet and the blanket are dirty and full of long hair, even though they changed another one, and I questioned whether they had not been washed. Be honest, the location is the best, it's close to the central station and a walkable area, there are a lot of restaurants surrounding. The staff were nice.

Pretty average and nothing to rave about, the tv inside the capsule didn’t work and neither did the mini safe so couldn’t store any valuables. The shower and toilets had black mould growing on the silicon around the hand basins. Very small stalls to the point when I sat down my knees were touching the door and my feet were sticking out under the door. Reception wasn’t very knowledgeable about Sydney as I asked how to get to the Olympic park, Showgrounds and she had no idea what I was taking about let alone how to get there. Not impressed and will not be going back again.

Never tried capsule before. The idea is great. But you can hear people talk and some alarm was going of. Every move the neighbors make you can here. So take some earplugs with you. I liked the capsule, was clean but the panel was loose and some functions didn’t work. Toilets, sinks and showers all small but functional and compared to other hostels clean.

I stayed in the Space Q for 2 nights, knowing full well that for the price it was not going to be a luxury experience. What I didn't expect though was the filthy state that the toilets and showers were in. All 3 toilets were leaking, not cleaned, paper missing etc. The showers were very dirty as well, with leftover bars of soap and underwear strewn everywhere on the floor! There was no soap in the dispenser in the shower I used. Good thing I took my own bar of soap. The capsules have an incredibly thin mattress. I did not expect a lot, however I struggled to sleep given the mattress was so uncomfortable, as was the tiny pillow. There is no top sheet on the mattress, only a base sheet, and there are not blankets. It was 30 degrees in Sydney and once it cooled down, it was actually cold during the night. There is a fan in the capsule, but no heating. I resorted to sleeping in my clothes the second night as I was so cold. Never again.

Buyer beware. The room photos and description indicate there is a TV in each pod however there is in fact only one TV at the property and it is located in the common room. Pods have no A/C therefore you'll need to ask staff to turn on A/C in your room and leave pod door open. It's essentially hostel accommodation but with a little more privacy in your bunk/pod. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to central station and Chinatown as well as downtown Sydney.

More like a dorm than a hotel, the mattress was not comfortable at all. At times the capsule got hot as the air-conditioning didnt seem to flow through into the rooms properly. Also quite loud as people came in and out and took random phone calls in their pods at all hours of the night. The mens room only had 2 of 3 toilets working and the shower heads need attention. The pod itself is dated and not entirely functioning in all its controls. 10 out of 10 for location, and value for money if you get a cheap rate.

Great experience. The first feeling in the capsule is weird but after one night very cool. They have place for chilling upstairs. They helped me to let my luggage there even after checking for 6 hours, because my flight was in the evening. Big thank you.

Wouldn’t book with them. They say to email them if you’re late arriving and they’ll email you what you need on arrival. I received nothing and was stranded in Sydney City Centre with no where to sleep and they claimed they were there waiting for me but I did not receive any instructions whatsoever.

Pretty average and nothing to rave about, the tv inside the capsule didn’t work and neither did the mini safe so couldn’t store any valuables. The shower and toilets had black mould growing on the silicon around the hand basins. Very small stalls to the point when I sat down my knees were touching the door and my feet were sticking out under the door. Reception wasn’t very knowledgeable about Sydney as I asked how to get to the Olympic park, Showgrounds and she had no idea what I was taking about let alone how to get there. Not impressed and will not be going back again.

Unfortunately due to a flight delay, i missed the staffed reception hours and had no way of checking in or accessing to property, and had to book accommodation elsewhere. There was no information avaliable to get help from the team managing the hostel. Very disappointing and upsetting.

The staff at the space capsule are extremely helpful and kind. They made me feel extremely welcome. The main front desk staff were polite, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience in the heart of Sydney

The location was prime as it was very close to Market City and had some great food options. It was also close to a light rail station and not far from Central so it was easy to jump on the coach back home. I didn't like how small the cubicles were in the bathrooms and just the general smell of the place? It wasn't pleasant. Thankfully my capsule was clean but lockers were not nearly big enough for my bag and seemed like a lot of people had the same issue as there were bags everywhere. In terms of placement in the city and all the things around it, very accessible, highly recommend. In terms of the facilities there, it's a meh.
The location was prime as it was very close to Market City and had some great food options. It was also close to a light rail station and not far from Central so it was easy to jump on the coach back home. Reasonable price. Perfect location near Chinatown and transport. Service NEW Just near next to it. Staff can look after ur luggage as well after checked out or before check in. Not super quiet but what can u ask for this price. Great for solo Trip in Sydney CBD

It is close to the station. And receptionist is very kind. There is a private space in the capsule. Price is reasonable in Sydney. If you don’t care narrow, it is a good location.

I did not have many choices in the last-minute booking during the Sydney marathon period. This property has nothing other than the location. The facility is in worse condition, the bed sheet and the blanket are dirty and full of long hair, even though they changed another one, and I questioned whether they had not been washed. Be honest, the location is the best, it's close to the central station and a walkable area, there are a lot of restaurants surrounding. The staff were nice.

Receptionist was adequate for giving a key. The facility in all areas grubby. My capsule smelled of chemicals so badly that I had to get out of it. The blanket in the capsule stank like a street liver. The floor of the capsule was broken and the two inch foam mattress next to useless. Bathroom and toilets were dirty tiny and I cannot fathom how they can be compliant. No option to get a towel. It was worth a try but never again. I’ve seen others that are wonderful this is not

The pods have recently been updated and the mattresses offer good support and provide a good nights sleep. The showers are hot and clean also. The kitchen has decent facilities and there are 2 large fridges for those needing to store food. The only downside is the external noise which can be a bit intrusive esp on Friday and Saturday evenings.
