Great b&b, have stayed a couple of times now and it’s perfect for me. Nice rooms with thoughtful touches that are impeccably clean and comfortable, Easy parking and a two minute walk into the town for a range of amenities.

Very clean and comfortable bedroom. Excellent breakfast. Close to the town and lots of eating choice within walking distance. Parking is available on the cul de sac adjacent to the house. The only thing missing was an easily accessible plug in the bedroom, although there was a usb tower.

One night trip to Lyndhurst. Location was great, free parking either at the hotel or on street. Comfortable room, nice little touches such as fresh milk appreciated, as was allowing us to use the car park before check-in. Breakfast was fresh and excellent quality

Amazing stay, very friendly host and B&B was completely spotless, couldnt fault it at all. Cooked Breakfast was ordered the night before so was ready for the time you picked, but you weren't rushed a choice of cereals and juices on offer. Fabulous stay near to town and lovely room.

My husband and I stayed overnight at Avalon, prior to joining a cruise. From the beginning of our stay, where we were made so welcome, to the end where we received a yummy full English, (included in the price), we can honestly say that a stay here is excellent value for money. The premises and the room was spotless and I would have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful B & B as a place to stay.

The Avalon House is the quintessential British B&B. Judith and Nick were the perfect hosts. The village of Lyndhurst is lovely. The room was immaculate and the breakfast delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the New Forest.

Immaculate bed and breakfast in a great location to walk to a number of eateries and local independent shops. Our hosts Nick & Judith gave us a warm welcome and their attention to detail was spot on. Fabulous place, we shall be back!

Very friendly hosts. Comfortable bed with feather duvet! Very clean room and we found it surprisingly quiet especially as the bnb is on the main road and we were in the front room. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were super helpful accommodating our 10 month old as well. Thoroughly recommend!

A beautiful house in a lovely location. My room was extremely comfortable, as was my bed. The bathroom was great, with a powerful shower. Breakfast was fantastic, and the owners waited for me when I arrived late from the ferry coming in to Portsmouth, which I hugely appreciated. A lovely, peaceful B&B.

Outstanding B&B, this is how it should be done. Really nice room with thoughtful touches to make the stay easy and comfortable. Great location with a two minute walk into Lyndhurst and easy access to the rest of the New Forest. I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the owners waited for me when I arrived late from the ferry coming in to Portsmouth, which I hugely appreciated. A lovely, peaceful B&B.

A beautiful house in a lovely location. My room was extremely comfortable, as was my bed. The bathroom was great, with a powerful shower. Breakfast was fantastic, and the owners waited for me when I arrived late from the ferry coming in to Portsmouth, which I hugely appreciated. A lovely, peaceful B&B.

One night trip to Lyndhurst. Location was great, free parking either at the hotel or on street. Comfortable room, nice little touches such as fresh milk appreciated, as was allowing us to use the car park before check-in. Breakfast was fresh and excellent quality

We had an excellent stay at Avalon House, Nick was welcoming and very helpful throughout the stay and the breakfast offered was of high quality with good choices. Our room was comfortable , well maintained and had all the basics we needed. The B&B is in a great location just on edge of the centre of Lyndhurst where there is an excleeent choice of pubs and restaurants, the Waterloo Arms being our particular fave. When we next come back to the new forest we will definitely stay at Avalon. Thank you Nick for an excellent stay!

Excellent all round accommodation. Warm welcome. Comfortable spotless and fresh rooms with very comfortable beds followed by a well cooked and tasty breakfast in a lovely dining room. Limited parking on site but the road alongside offered plenty of unrestricted additional parking literally outside the house entrance. Location was also on the right side of town meaning no need to negotiate the terrible one way system and constantly heavy traffic through Lyndhurst was a bonus. 5 minute walk into town where there were plenty of good eating options. Would happily stay again and recommend for a pleasant stay in Lyndhurst

Our host, Nick, was so friendly and helpful. He made our stay delightful. The accommodations were. comfortable and beautiful. Surrounding town and parks were wonderful. The included breakfast was delicious and filling. I would suggest that Nick put a thermostat on the heater, have directions for use of the shower controls and have more space for toiletries in the bathroom.
