We had an excellent stay at Avalon House, Nick was welcoming and very helpful throughout the stay and the breakfast offered was of high quality with good choices. Our room was comfortable , well maintained and had all the basics we needed. The B&B is in a great location just on edge of the centre of Lyndhurst where there is an excleeent choice of pubs and restaurants, the Waterloo Arms being our particular fave. When we next come back to the new forest we will definitely stay at Avalon. Thank you Nick for an excellent stay!
We had an excellent stay at Avalon House, Nick was welcoming and very helpful throughout the stay and the breakfast offered was of high quality with good choices. Excellent all round accommodation. Warm welcome. Comfortable spotless and fresh rooms with very comfortable beds followed by a well cooked and tasty breakfast in a lovely dining room. Limited parking on site but the road alongside offered plenty of unrestricted additional parking literally outside the house entrance. Location was also on the right side of town meaning no need to negotiate the terrible one way system and constantly heavy traffic through Lyndhurst was a bonus. 5 minute walk into town where there were plenty of good eating options. Would happily stay again and recommend for a pleasant stay in Lyndhurst

Our host, Nick, was so friendly and helpful. He made our stay delightful. The accommodations were. comfortable and beautiful. Surrounding town and parks were wonderful. The included breakfast was delicious and filling. I would suggest that Nick put a thermostat on the heater, have directions for use of the shower controls and have more space for toiletries in the bathroom.
