Amenities are great. Rooms are nice. Elevators were always crowded and slow and then 2 of them shut down. Prices at the on-site market felt high because there’s really no other options nearby and having to pay for bottled water in room feels old school.

Great location! Both options of exploring downtown or staying at resort are inviting. The resort has enough amenities to stay at resort to use the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, courtyard garden, rooftop bar and restaurants. Or go out to explore downtown Portland with walking distances to all downtown activities. Parking will be an additional cost with either valet or garage parking.

Great hotel. Lovely staff and easy to check in. They only have valet parking and it’s $70 a night, which was a little steep for us. There is parking garages across the street for way less that I’d recommend using.

This is a pretty hotel and close to the water. Very updated with good space in the rooms and nice amenities especially the pool but the food and staff isn’t that great and the parking situation is awful. The first night we got in late after a long drive and the restaurant was still open but we were told that we could not sit down that we could only take food to go so I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for my little one and a salad for myself. For the price of the salad it was very mediocre, and the grilled cheese was burnt and barely edible for $16. Parking only had valet or street parking but with a little one and a bunch of luggage it is really hard to park in the street so I chose the valet option which is very expensive. Every day it was a hassle to get the car and it took forever even though they would text you that they were there you would get down there and it wasn’t there. Lastly, the café was nice and convenient to have however, the staff was kind of rude and when they messed up my drink order they were more annoyed at me than themselves. Overall it’s a decent hotel with great amenities just have realistic expectations of how you’ll be treated, parking and what you’ll eat.

Room had semen on the headboard of the bed and we didnt notice this until we were checking out. I love this hotel but the fact that we saw that at the end of the trip is disgusting. We were late leaving and didnt have time to talk to the hotel staff regarding this.

Most everything was great but there was a filthy pair of dirty underwear in our bed sheets. We didn’t realize at first as there were no fitted sheets but after sleeping in the bed all the covers moved and the dirty underwear was right were we were sleeping. Besides this the sauna and steam room were wonderful and workers were kind.

Staff was very nice and friendly. The room was smaller than I anticipated and there was old soap/lotion drips down the shower and by the bathroom door from I’m assuming the previous person who stayed there. The walls were paper thin and I could hear the man next to us coughing all night. For the price, I would expect a little more private feeling space and a little more cleanliness. Also was charged a $100 a night fee, which was not mentioned when I booked so was kind of surprised to have to pay that on arrival. Amenities were good and the coffee shop downstairs was fantastic and their staff was so kind and friendly.

This was a fantastic place to stay in Portland and will recommend to all of our friends. Clean, quiet and very comfortable. Very safe place and easy to access, staff were friendly, welcoming and polite so want to make a huge shout out to them! We will definitely be back.

This is our go-to Hotel when staying in Portland, very convenient and neat and friendly staff always. Although... DO NOT stay in the 15th floor!!!! Our first time staying in that floor and it was long night! So much noise from the above floor (level 16 rooftop bar) floor 15 is not for families staying in.

The pool was great! Our boys had fun! Downfall was, the room was missing the hairdryer which would have been nice after the multiple pool trips. The tv also was not the greatest. Kept freezing.

The Porter was modern and nice, however the lighting in the room was pretty dim. We left our room at 11 in the morning and even though we requested fresh wash cloths at least, no one came to clean the room or replace the washcloths. The dead bolt didn't work. The lotion bottle was empty. But none of these things warranted a review compared to the clock alarm going off at 5:50am. That at least we could turn off. The neighboring alarm going off at 6am, apparently in an empty room, we couldn't. The front desk didn't seem to care at all, but at least said they'd let the cleaning crew know... so hopefully this doesn't happen to you. And yes, we should know to always check the alarm. But who uses an alarm clock any more?

The hotel room was nice overall. The location worked out well. The staff were friendly and professional. The gym and sauna were really nice and clean. The food at the restaurant on the 1st floor was not the greatest along with the cocktail ordered. The TV usage was not the best (intermittent connection issues). I will stay here again when I come into Portland.

Hotel was nice, wellness area with pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna are great. Paid extra for a corner room with “city view” which is just another taller building directly against the hotel with no view whatsoever. TV was old and not a Smart or WiFi TV so unable to stream or cast to it.

The bathroom (barn door) door didn’t close all the way. It way out of alignment or something leaving an 3 inch opening between doors. The interior bathroom toilet stall glass door was also missing. Not a huge deal as the bathroom doesn’t face the bed or anything. However the light a noise does carry without the barriers.

I’ve stayed at this property before and had a great experience however there were several issues this time. The bathroom lights would turn on and off on their own (broken sensor), annoying when this happens in the middle of the night. I reported it but it was not fixed. Found long hairs in the towels in the bathroom, the bed didn’t have a fitted sheet on the bottom just a flat sheet and the only time house keeping came was when we asked for it. On the pulse side the front desk staff were very friendly and the pool and gym arear were clean and relaxing.

Beautiful hotel. Worst customer service ever. Our room wasn’t what we paid for, but WE were blamed for using hotels.com, rather than an apology and any kind of offer to make up for it some way. The top floor bar was the rude. At night, the lobby desk person was rude. The only person who was kind was our waitress. Everyone else made us feel like we we were a burden. Hotel is beautiful. Staff made us feel unwelcome. Won’t stay here again.

We visited The Porter while in Portland for a wedding reception. My mom doesn’t travel much and this was her first time in a hotel since my dad passed 15 years ago. I wasn’t even sure she would join me and I was so happy she did. From the valet to the front desk, everyone was so welcoming. We loved our pretty corner room and the bathrobe and other amenities were perfect. I even took her up to the pretty rooftop bar to check out the view. Location was great and the overall stay was lovely. One tip for travelers? Be sure to bring small bills for tips as the location is pretty much cash free so difficult to make change for tips.

I thought that we would have a great experience, because I thoroughly researched hotels in the area. I let the staff know ahead of time that we were there because my son had an appointment at OHSU, and I wanted it to be the least stressful experience possible because we were driving from a few hours away. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with complete warmth and support by the front desk staff. I wish I had gotten their names - everyone was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond. It really, really made a difference as a mom, trying to plan and get everything right, to know that were being taken care of. The beds were comfortable, and the room was very clean. The restaurant downstairs, Terrane, was fantastic for breakfast - Stevi was so warm and accomodating, even remembering my son's food allergies. The valet staff was amazing as well, and the app made it easier. We will definitely stay here again and tell others about it as well. I can't quite emphasize enough how fantastic our stay was.

The staff was very professional and helpful. We were, however, disappointed when we arrived late after our event at the Keller Auditorium to discover that our soap, conditioner, hand, lotion, etc. bottles either were not working very well or were very low in contents. It was late enough that it did not seem worth our while to call down and have more brought up, so we just made do with what we had and what we had brought with us. The room was exquisitely clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved our view from the 15th floor and were very happy with every interaction we had with hotel staff. We swam in the swimming pool and enjoy the sauna and the hot tub, and overall had a truly lovely stay. We will definitely be there again!

$59 valet service when the public lot (which allows overnight) is literally less than one block away. No. Front desk was not very courteous. Check-in revealed my reserved room was not available. I had to pay the same for a less-desirable room. Checkout inquiry to checkout 1 hour later was flatly denied causing an uncomfortable situation to rush to depart. I would stay again but insist the check-in and checkout be less troublesome. And I would expect a discount or upgrade if the room type I reserved wasn’t available.

Very nice reception. Was up in Portland for concert at Keller. It was only one block down and one block up from this hotel. Had cocktails in the bar, excellent service. Room was modern, very clean, nice bathroom. Bed was comfie. Quiet night. Would definitely stay here again as a single woman traveling alone.

The hotel experience was what you expect from a downtown Hilton. They are super friendly and accommodating. We dropped our bags and valeted the car 3 hours before check in to catch a show at the Keller. The pool/spa area is very nice and clean and has sauna and steam room. My only complaint was the restaurant service being very slow. There were only three tables with guests eating and our food took an hour to get to us.

The property was lovely, and the valet was fantastic. Our room was clean and spacious. We did not utilize the room service or the lobby restaurant. We did however, explore the rooftop patio and bar-the evening menu is super limited-that was a little disappointing. There is a little coffee shop in the lobby also-coffee was ok-and they weren't keen on taking cash, just card. We utilized the pool/sauna/steam room much later in the evening, and it was steadily becoming packed with families/kids so it was super loud. The sauna's light would turn off when we were inside, and we couldn't figure out how to get it back on (no light switch), but then it would turn back on randomly. The steam room was ok, but after observing parts of the wall lifting/warped, and really looking at the water-it could use a good updating/mold check. Front desk was so friendly, super kind, and we would probably stay again!

Everyone here seems to go above and beyond to make the experience great, and I appreciate the bonuses as a Hilton member. Love the rooftop bar, attached restaurant/lounge, and cafe - really makes it convenient whether I'm getting ready for a busy day or winding down after a big event.

James at the breakfast restaurant was great. However, it is very misleading on the website that I paid $20 for breakfast. This was not the case. The $20 that I added onto my room price was just a prepayment for breakfast. Both room service and the restaurants add an additional 10% service charge an additional 15% tip included. I do not think this is fair. Because of this, I will not stay this hotel anymore It’s too bad, cause I really do like the rooftop.
