Kefalonia Himmelsvilla

Fantastic villa with luxury and comfort at the highest standard. Beds and sofas were so comfy, with a range of bedding and pillows to suit all needs. TV, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge freezer, oven & microwave all the highest spec.The villa was spotless and cleaned twice a week. There were plenty of towels for swimming.Andreas was an amazing host and met us when we arrived (and before we left), showed us around and was always available for any queries or helpful with recommendations for restaurants. The sea view is beautiful and the locality of the villa allows you to see all the coastline and across to Zante.There is plenty of parking and a car port in the private driveway, which is secured with large gates extending all the way across the entrance to the property. This makes it feel very secure. The drive is very steep so would recommend an SUV or 4 wheel drive vehicle, with good clearance.The infinity pool with its jacuzzi and water spout are impressive and surrounded by very comfortable loungers. It is possible to sunbathe until about 7pm.There is inside and outside dining, BBQ facilities and a range of places to sit and chill either by the pool or on the balcony.I can't wait to return :-)

Kefalonia Heaven is a lovely villa, with a great view out over the coast. It's finished and also equipped to a high standard with everything you could ask for - even small touches like a powerbank and electric coldbox to use when out and about. If there were any negatives, they were too small to be concerned about. Getting to the Villa for the first time was 'interesting' since Google Maps took us up some very small and steep roads, but we got there in the end (there is an easier way to find it). The drive is incredibly steep so parking the car became a daily challenge, but there is parking outside the villa as well. the owner, Andreas, was responsive and helpful when we contacted him. I would say that having a car is essential when staying here since it is quite high up on the hill so getting anywhere requires a car (or a taxi), but the payback is that the view is great. If you're looking for a modern, well equipped villa with great views, I can recommend kefalonia Heaven.
