It is a fairly average, cheap hostel. Staff member upon check-in made me pay twice as I had pre-paid on expedia but then paid also on arrival - so be sure if youve already paid. This was all resolved the next day by a helpful lady. Beds were very creaky so every time you moved it would make a noise. Lockers were a bit temperamental - you have to be quite forceful to ensure they are closed. Bathroom has mould in, so it needs a good airing after shower use. Towels were provided, but there were no kitchen facilities which isnt ideal.

I had a lovely stay for my first solo trip. Check in was easy and everyone I talked to who worked there was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. It is located within walking distance of anything you’d like to see and right next to two good pubs. Would definitely recommend.

Finding the place and self check in were easy. Had a late arrival and felt bad about making all the noise to put the linens on the bed myself, on the top bunk. Beds are comfy but quite squeaky. There are lockers in the room for valuables.
