Pak Nam Resort

We had a good stay at Pan Nam Resort. Staff were wonderful and worked hard on the English. (I had to use a translator app). We had no hand towels nor hand soap in the bathroom. The bath fixtures are very dated and in need of repair. The shower dripped day and night so we had to keep the door closed so we could sleep. The only other thing is there were no clothing hangers for our clothing. Some I like to hang to let the wrinkles out and I like to handwash some clothing but nothing to hang the clean clothing on. It would have been nice to have offered to sweep our room during our 5 night stay. All in all we would possibly stay again but would ask to see the rooms first before being assigned.

Als wir in unsere Unterkunft kamen , war diese komplett verdreckt!!! Die Schreibe gerissen. Ameisen im Bett. Schmutzige Beztwäsche. Die Scheiben schlierig, sodass unsere Zimmer mit strandblick nicht zu nutzen war. Die Einrichtung total versüfft , schmutzig und kaputt. Das Badezimmer war sehr unhygienisch , alt und der Wasserboiler kaputt. Wir gaben dem Personal 2 mal die Chance erneut zu reinigen. Sie haben nur noch mehr verschmiert. Sie hatten keine Ahnung wie sie etwas reinigen sollen. Sie hatten einen Lappen für alles. Wir hatten 2 Übernachtungen gebucht. Da wir keine Unterkunft in der Region mehr bekamen um die Uhrzeit mussten wir eine Nacht bleiben. Und haben dann abgebrochen und mussten die Reise dort abbrechen und komplett umplanen. Ich war sehr enttäuscht, dass Expedia solche Hotels unterstützt. War bislang sehr zufrieden mit Expedia. Nun bin ich da sehr skeptisch über ihre Plattform Erneut zu buchen. Wir haben kein Geld erstattet bekommen und sind auf den Kosten sitzen geblieben. Sie sagten , sie könnten nichts für uns tun, da wir über Expedia gebucht haben. Bin sehr enttäuscht

When your taxi driver from Had Yai Airport and front desk informed you no cabs would come to this property to take you anywhere, this gave us an immediate concern. Property was very isolated with no shops or stores. The closest seven eleven was like 20 minutes away by car on the road with no sidewalks or streetlights. We stayed here for one night as we were headed to Pak Bara Pier the next day to go to Koh Lipe. The front desk told us that they couldn't call a taxi for us to get us to the pier. The cook was kind enough to take us to the pier the next day. Duct tape was used to cover up holes on the bed. The hot water didn't work. The faucet was about to come off the sink. The couch was broken and you basically sat on the floor. You were on a bay and not the ocean. The pictures of the beach they put on their website didn't remotely resemble anything we saw on this location. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow and according to Expedia, the room was over $100 per night. The original hotel we booked canceled on us so Expedia offered us this beachfront bungalow at a discount price. It is not worth $100 per night. If you are looking for a place to stay for a night before hopping on a ferry ride to Koh Lipe the next day or actually for any reason, DO NOT stay at this place.
