Lovely place with nice furniture and beautiful main room. Breakfast was truly excellent ---including local cheese, coffee and jams--- and the host was very helpful. It is right in the Centro Histórico of Paraty, close to where the boats leave from. Many restaurants close by.

Patricia (who speaks impeccable English) is a longtime resident of the area with many connections who is able to give recommendations for dinner or boating or history walks. Mise à disposition de parapluie et cape de pluie, guides et possibilité de déguster différentes cachaças dans le salon. Produits de toilettes bio.On recommande à 100%.

Foi uma experiência maravilhosa, as acomodações são muito boas, a cama confortável e o quarto limpo, sem falar a questão do frigobar com água sempre abastecido gratuitamente. Fora isso, a Patrícia e a Rita são verdadeiras anfitriãs, o café da manhã é abundante, com opções variadas e servido com todo o cuidado pela própria Patrícia e Rita. A casa é um charme a parte é bem localizada, pertinho da rua do comércio. Com certeza voltarei.

Staying at Casa de Paulo Autran was more than a nice place to lay your head and take a shower. It was truly an experience. We stayed in Paratay with a large group and we were the only group who did not stay at a more traditional hotel, and we are so glad we chose this place! You can see the water as you step out the front door. The owner gave us amazing dining recommendations, had umbrellas ready for us when it rained, towels ready for us before our boat tour. The home cooked breakfast was the highlight of our stay. We hope to be back!

A Casa de Paulo Autran is a magical guesthouse in the heart of Paraty. The house is beautiful and comfortable, with everything you need and more. The best part wasn’t the incredible breakfast or tasting some local cachaça at night, but our host Patricia who shared her knowledge and love for this town. She arranged everything for us, all transportation, a private boat trip and a wonderful visit to Fazenda Bananal. She was absolutely wonderful and we hope to be back someday soon.

Foi incrível! Muito bem localizada, a pousada é muito aconchegante e a Patrícia, a proprietária, nos recebe muito bem, um atendimento que faz toda a diferença. Café da manhã é perfeito, muitas opções, tudo fresquinho e delicioso. Não tem estacionamento, por ser uma casa no centro histórico, então deixamos o carro no estacionamento bem próximo, muito tranquilo.

Patricia!! Thank you so much again for your hospitality. The room is perfect and the house is beautiful…Patricia is so welcoming and helped us pack a breakfast to go as we had to leave at 0800. Check-in was so easy—we would definitely return and recommend to a friend :)

The location was great, easy access/walk to everywhere in the town. The place was super clean and the had the characters. The hostesses and staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part was the breakfast, lots of options and freshly prepared. I definitely would recommend this place to friends and fellow travelers.

A Casa de Paulo Autran is a magical guesthouse in the heart of Paraty. The house is beautiful and comfortable, with everything you need and more. The best part wasn’t the incredible breakfast or tasting some local cachaça at night, but our host Patricia who shared her knowledge and love for this town. She arranged everything for us, all transportation, a private boat trip and a wonderful visit to Fazenda Bananal. She was absolutely wonderful and we hope to be back someday soon.

Lovely place with nice furniture and beautiful main room. Breakfast was truly excellent ---including local cheese, coffee and jams--- and the host was very helpful. It is right in the Centro Histórico of Paraty, close to where the boats leave from. Many restaurants close by.

Foi uma experiência muito agradável e com certeza vale a pena!

A equipe da Pousada Paulo Autran é maravilhosa, a Rita e o Beto preparam o café da manhá 5 estrelas, com muita variedade e ítens comprados de produtores e fornecedores locais, inclusive ate produtos sem glúten não faltaram, pães e bolos saborosíssimos, ponto que minha esposa que é celíaca sempre sofre nas viajens. O quarto é muito confortável, cama grande, banheiro limpo, toalhas macias e perfumadas e a ducha do chuveiro muito boa.. Eu super recomendo essa Pousada, com certeza vou voltar e me hospedar lá.

Everything about our stay was perfect (well, maybe with the exception of the weather, unfortunately). Patricia was there to receive us and make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house is absolutely stunning, the decor is beautiful, such attention to details! Breakfast was also delicious, you could tell it was prepared with care. It is an older house, so if you stay on the bottom floor like we did, you do hear some noises from the upstairs apartment. However, in our case that was not an issue, as the upstairs guests were quiet and polite. Also, the downstairs room is in front of the eating area, so you will hear other guests while they're having breakfast. Again, not an issue with us - I actually think it enhanced the atmosphere of being on a home. We will definitely stay here again. Hopefully with nice weather this time!
