Wonderful hotel in historic downtown area. They really take care of their guests at this hotel. Drinks and snacks in the room along with a wonderful breakfast is included. Staff is very friendly and helpful. When staying in Chiang Mai this is the only hotel you should consider.

A lovely experience with very attentive and kind staff. Beautiful hotel garden with pool. Room 4103 was just perfect with access to the pool. However, would be nice to have a few sunbeds more at the pool area. Location is great with some restaurants/bars around and on Sundays you‘ll be in the midst of the night market action.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the historic district. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and luxurious with all the needed amenities. There isn’t much storage in the rooms so it’s better for short stays. My only issue was that the pool was really cold.

Beautiful hotel acting as a small paradise in the middle of Chiang Mai. The service was excellent and the room very clean. Only thing I’d say is that there were no staff at the pool bar meaning you had to find someone to order a drink. Small point but didn’t affect my stay.

Highly recommended! The location was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. The pool area was spectacular, and the gym equipment was well-maintained. The hotel’s beautiful surroundings added to the perfect vacation vibe. The most impressive part was the friendly staff—they were amazing, always wearing warm smiles and providing exceptional service. Everything was perfect! A truly unforgettable stay at Chala 6!

Hotel is in a very good location in the old city of Chiang Mai. Easy walk to some very interesting temples, on Sunday the walking street markets just outside the front door. But all the hustle and bustle of the city is not noticeable inside the hotel and it's inner courtyard. Very well trained staff, immaculately clean and comfortable. Good sized rooms, very generous minibar that is refilled every day. Tea time (2-4pm) is very nice touch. The pool was large, but cold, so it was rather a water feature, than the place to get in. Our only disappointment with this hotel was the breakfast - cold watery curries, stale cold pastries. Given the state of the breakfast we did not dine in the hotel. If ever again in Chiang Mai, we would certainly consider this place.

Fabulous place! By far the best resort if you want to stay in the heart of Old City Chiang Mai. The staff is superb and the grounds are breathtaking. The breakfast buffet was amazing with so many delicious options. The complementary afternoon tea was lovely and their outdoor bar was a great place to start the evening. When visiting Old City this is the place to be!

Chala Number 6 sold me with its posted pics of a tranquil oasis in what I knew to be a hectic city. As we flew in, I feared it would be a disappointment. Fortunately, it was exactly as advertised. From the two story waterfall into the infinity pool to the open air bar and lounging area to the large, lovely and well-maintained rooms it was a great break in the middle of a busy couple of weeks of travel. Once outside the hotel, there’s lots to see and do (the large Sunday Night Market is just outside the front doors and a large temple is across the street). Once in the hotel, it’s calm and beautiful. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating. Lovely service! And the included breakfast buffet was large and had different savory options each morning. Some days options: pineapple fried rice, curry chicken, spaghetti carbonara (yes, I was unusually open to a different kind of breakfast). Loads of variety as well as the usual western eggs, omelettes, fruit and pastries. We ate dinner at the hotel almost daily with lots of outdoor seating options, if you prefer. The Waya spa is beautiful, clean, and full service. We had massages a few afternoons. Convenient to everything in Old Chiang Mai with tuk tuks to take you anywhere else, this hotel is one of my top hotels ever. The people are gracious and helpful giving the service five stars, as well

Lovely hotel! Clean, comfortable, wonderful breakfast and location is great! Mini bar snacks and drinks were complimentary as was an afternoon tea, which was a first for us. You won’t be disappointed by staying here!

Excellent boutique hotel in the middle of Old Town. Everything was perfect about it. One exception would be bugs in our bed. Once found them, however, the staff was quick to come in and change the sheets.

Wishing I booked here longer…. Chala Number 6 was perfect in every way. Nice coffee houses nearby, temples, shopping. The aspect which I enjoyed most was the beautiful grounds the hotel sits on. Pristine sanctuary with living plants and lush greenery that is very well maintained by staff. Rooms are very nice too and match the aesthetic. Don’t hesitate to book here.

This is an absolute gem. The staff is incredible and very accommodating. The room is comfortable and quiet. The decor and vibe of the hotel can’t be beat. Every person who passed by took pictures of the hotel because of its beauty. Would recommend to all!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the historic district. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and luxurious with all the needed amenities. There isn’t much storage in the rooms so it’s better for short stays. My only issue was that the pool was really cold.

The rooms are clean and extremely well appointed, however, we did not know that there were rooms in darkness with a tiny window and no outside sitting space or view of the stunning pool. Wed stayed here before in a beautiful ground floor room terrace overlooking the tea house. Brought friends thinking would be just as lovely, but alas we didn’t know.

Hotel is in a very good location in the old city of Chiang Mai. Easy walk to some very interesting temples, on Sunday the walking street markets just outside the front door. But all the hustle and bustle of the city is not noticeable inside the hotel and it's inner courtyard. Very well trained staff, immaculately clean and comfortable. Good sized rooms, very generous minibar that is refilled every day. Tea time (2-4pm) is very nice touch. The pool was large, but cold, so it was rather a water feature, than the place to get in. Our only disappointment with this hotel was the breakfast - cold watery curries, stale cold pastries. Given the state of the breakfast we did not dine in the hotel. If ever again in Chiang Mai, we would certainly consider this place.

This is an absolute gem. The staff is incredible and very accommodating. The room is comfortable and quiet. The decor and vibe of the hotel can’t be beat. Every person who passed by took pictures of the hotel because of its beauty. Would recommend to all!

It has been a most enjoyable stay with services exceed my expectation. The front desk staff including Somo and Karen are efficient, friendly and always helpful. The afternoon tea is a unique experience with excellent food and services. I definitely will come again and choose this hotel.

Beautiful hotel acting as a small paradise in the middle of Chiang Mai. The service was excellent and the room very clean. Only thing I’d say is that there were no staff at the pool bar meaning you had to find someone to order a drink. Small point but didn’t affect my stay.

The breakfast buffet was amazing with so many delicious options. The complementary afternoon tea was lovely and their outdoor bar was a great place to start the evening. An excellent hotel with a particular Thai feel about it. Great location in the old city. The staff were very friendly and attentive and dressed immaculately. We enjoyed the complementary afternoon tea in the garden and pool area. This included drinks, sandwiches, little Thai snacks, sweets and a wide arrangement of fruits. A very welcome touch that was completely unexpected. Would return without hesitation.

From walking around Chiang Mail this seems to be one of the nicest hotels in the Old City. You can walk to the night bazaar and stay here and avoid the crowds and environment of the night market. Would definitely stay again.

The most incredible hotel, perfectly located in old town. Across the street from a temple & an easy walk to anything you want to see here. The breakfast is great. The tea time from 2p-4p is an incredible touch & really sets them apart from any other hotel. I’m a solo female traveler and felt incredibly safe and taken care of while I was here. It was the perfect peaceful place to call home.

Chala Number 6 sold me with its posted pics of a tranquil oasis in what I knew to be a hectic city. As we flew in, I feared it would be a disappointment. Fortunately, it was exactly as advertised. From the two story waterfall into the infinity pool to the open air bar and lounging area to the large, lovely and well-maintained rooms it was a great break in the middle of a busy couple of weeks of travel. Once outside the hotel, there’s lots to see and do (the large Sunday Night Market is just outside the front doors and a large temple is across the street). Once in the hotel, it’s calm and beautiful. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating. Lovely service! And the included breakfast buffet was large and had different savory options each morning. Some days options: pineapple fried rice, curry chicken, spaghetti carbonara (yes, I was unusually open to a different kind of breakfast). Loads of variety as well as the usual western eggs, omelettes, fruit and pastries. We ate dinner at the hotel almost daily with lots of outdoor seating options, if you prefer. The Waya spa is beautiful, clean, and full service. We had massages a few afternoons. Convenient to everything in Old Chiang Mai with tuk tuks to take you anywhere else, this hotel is one of my top hotels ever. The people are gracious and helpful giving the service five stars, as well

Great hotel in a central location. Many beautiful temples are within walking distance, and there are countless restaurants nearby. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, with a nice pool and sun loungers to relax. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and was excellent. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing location, amazing staff and amazing services. Breakfast was the best and rooms and facilities were like an oasis in the heart of old town. Will recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.
