5 point cottage is a lovely older home. We loved being able to walk to the lake, bike downtown and drive or bike to vineyards. If you are looking for a home with a great outdoor space the photos are a little misleading. The backyard could do with an update to match the house. Would rent again

Had a great stay. Beautiful area to take our dog for a walk. Close to shopping in Niagara on the Lake and the factory outlet mall. Went for a lovely drive to see the lights at Niagara falls. Home was beautiful, every thing we needed was there.

Amazing Property. Location was perfect. House was also fantastic. Four of us 55-80 and our dog came to visit in January. We came for only two nights to attend the Festival, tour a couple wineries and see the Falls! The only suggestions we might have - is grab bars in the upstairs bathroom, and instructions that entering through the garage might be an option as the front step is a bit of a "doozy" ! We did not figure that out until our last day! But all in all - it was about as close to perfect as we could have asked for. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay here! The house and neighborhood were perfect. We felt right at home. We walked to lake several times and saw a beautiful sunset. Easy drive to the falls and enjoyed our time walking around downtown. Took our family and dog to the olde angel inn for a nice lunch on the patio with live music. Thank you for sharing your home!

This house was perfect for our family! The main bedroom was on one side of the house and the other two bedrooms were far away so our daughter and her family could have some privacy. Everything was immaculate when we arrived and the house had whatever we needed during our stay. The street is absolutely charming and the location to lake and town perfect! If I had one suggestion it would be to have a few extra towels. Since it was so warm out, we did swim in the lake and used our shower towels. An extra few towels would be great. That said, I would recommend this house to everyone!!

We had a very enjoyable stay - not walking distance to anything so be sure to have a vehicle. But everything you need is a short drive. The lake walk was beautiful with the dog. Thank you so much!!

The property was very clean and well-equipped. The beds and other furniture were comfortable. And the bedding was a nice quality. The location was quiet and convenient to going to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake and the surrounding area. Suggestions – a Keurig coffee maker and upgraded towels would enhance the experience.

This house was better than the images. Quiet. Clean and roomy. The images make no mention of the finished basement! Very nice neighborhood in a really cute little town. Wineries are all very close. It was a wonderful place to retreat to after a day or touring the wineries. We had a great time!

We had a wonderful time. The house was super clean, spacious and we had no issues, never had to contact the owner. All was easy to find, everything we needed to know was printed up and well presented. The shower water pressure was awesome and the beds were comfortable. The area was quiet and peaceful. The location was great for going anywhere you needed to go. It was great to have Netflix on the TV!! We would definitely love to return! Thank you for a great time!

We totally enjoyed our stay. The home was so welcoming and clean. All of the “extras”, such as coffee, paper towels, laundry soap,etc were so appreciated! Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, close proximity to the shopping area. We loved being so close to Lake Ontario.

We have visited NOTL many times. Always prefer to stay in town. This house is located within easy walking distance of the Main Street and Shaw theaters. House itself is modern, 3 bedroom/3.5 bathroom, open kitchen/living room space. Comfortable furniture. Small yard with porch/table and chairs, fenced and private. House was scrupulously clean. Easy check-in. No major issues at all. Televisions in living room and bedrooms are small. Curiously, kitchen faucet didn’t have spray setting-or we couldn’t figure it out. But these were minor points. We’d definitely would stay here again. First class rental property.

The place is beautiful and very well equipped. Everything easily deserves five out of five stars — except the location, which, thanks to the unobstructed view of the plain behind, where we had an unexpected visit from two beautiful deer, definitely deserves six out of five.

The house was clean and very well stocked. The furniture however was not comfortable for anyone over 5'5". We could hardly get up from the couch as our knees were higher than our stomachs. Also the house is not handicap friendly at all. The toliet is too low and the walk in showers available are either in the basement or have a lip to get into them. Adding handicap bars in bathrooms and getting better furniture would have made this house amazing.

The property is not walking distance to town. The bed in the main bedroom is not comfortable. There is a tree over the driveway that drops a significant amount of leaves and seeds on the car every day. Tons of traffic up and down the street from morning until 9 pm.

Our stay at the Five Point Cottage was wonderful! The home was very clean, beds were all very comfortable, location was great, close to many wineries and minutes to the beautiful “Old Town of Niagara on the Lake”. We highly recommend Five Point Cottage for your visit to Niagara on the Lake.

We had a wonderful stay at Five Point Cottage. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. We rented bikes and enjoyed riding to the lake and into town and out to wineries... The house was in a very convenient location. It was a perfect little getaway.

This house was perfect for our family! The main bedroom was on one side of the house and the other two bedrooms were far away so our daughter and her family could have some privacy. Everything was immaculate when we arrived and the house had whatever we needed during our stay. The street is absolutely charming and the location to lake and town perfect! If I had one suggestion it would be to have a few extra towels. Since it was so warm out, we did swim in the lake and used our shower towels. An extra few towels would be great. That said, I would recommend this house to everyone!!

We had a great vacation staying at Five Point Cottage. The neighborhood was quiet it was a short 5-10 min walk to the lake. Neighbors out doing yard work or taking a walk were friending and welcoming. Lots to do in about a 30 min radius. We did a wine and tasting tour over 2 days, spent a day walking around shops in old towns, a 2-3 days doing things in the falls area including boat tours and diff falls tours and attractions. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed relaxing at the cottage in the late afternoon/evenings. I would recommend this listing to my friends.

The property is beautiful. It was perfect for ourselves and our adult children/spouses. The layout of the home is comfortable with plenty of room. We loved the proximity to Lake Ontario. Within walking distance to restaurants and groceries. Would love to come back sometime.

We had a very enjoyable stay - not walking distance to anything so be sure to have a vehicle. But everything you need is a short drive. The lake walk was beautiful with the dog. Thank you so much!!

The property is not walking distance to town. The bed in the main bedroom is not comfortable. There is a tree over the driveway that drops a significant amount of leaves and seeds on the car every day. Tons of traffic up and down the street from morning until 9 pm.

This property was very clean and the location was excellent. We loved being able to walk to the little park nearby and watch the sunset. Plus the cute downtown area was just a short drive away. The only two suggestions I would offer (and these are minior things) are 1) I wish the hosts would replace some of the smaller cocktail glasses with full-sized wine glasses. There were only two full wine glasses, which I found surprising considering the number of wineries around (I noticed another guest suggested this quite some time ago as well); 2) Some of the house rules went above and beyond what we have experienced at other rentals (and we have stayed at many over the years). In particular, the rule about not cooking strong-smelling food was a bit much IMO. Other than that, the stay was wonderful!
