屋外のプールは寒いと思っていたら、温泉なので楽しく遊べました。バイキングがおいしかったです。 温泉も充実していて、施設の中で、ずっと滞在できて楽しめました。また行きたいです

Loved it, so relaxing. Got the breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet both days - wow, very well fed and worth the price! Enjoyed walking in the garden in the morning and after dark with the lights. A very comfortable women-only onsen experience - I went three times in two days and I also got a nice reflexology massage booked just hours beforehand via a QR code in the room so the flexibility was excellent. Took advantage of free tea and coffee in the lobby around the clock and even grabbed a whisky at the bar one night. You could really check in, get into your robes and sandals, and never leave :) Although I did leave to visit an art museum and to ride the ropeway and the free shuttle from the hotel was super convenient to get me to both places (not so much for getting back though)

A wonderful 5 star hotel. The lobby area is spacious and the check-in process is organized using kiosks with someone from the hotel to guide. The private Onsen on the 7th floor can be booked using their App which was explained during the check-in process. The buffet was good and had a lot of variety that caters to westerners and locals. Take advantage of the waterpark / Onsen across the street which is offered for guests staying at the hotel. The wristband for the waterpark is given to guests in the lobby area. The waterpark has a lot of pools with different themes (coffee, peach, green tea, and wine). The public Onsen has breath taking views of the mountains and you keep your swimming suit on the whole time which is suitable for families. You must cover your tattoos before accessing the waterpark. The back of the hotel is a nice garden that lights up at night for a lovely night stroll. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely come back again

The hotel is a newer property with nice aesthetics. We stayed in a room with 2 double beds meant to fit 2 adults and 2 children (ages 10 and 12). Even by our British standards it was small. The dining was all buffet - breakfast and dinner. I thinks fairly hard to eat too healthy. The soft serve ice cream and bags of French fries were on offer at both meals. Kids loved it but it was a nightmare to police. The public onsen is completely fine to take children in with you. You are going in stark naked, though - so it’s perhaps not for everyone. The tunnels in across the street is “wacky” as described by our 10 year old - being polite. Frankly it was gross. I’ve never smelt a pool that was so disgusting - beyond strong chlorine. The chemicals felt like they were there to kill all the wee from the volume of children in the baths. Best bit was the “pyjamas” which we all wore to dinner every night after our onsen on the roof.we also enjoyed the balcony off of reception where you can get a coffee or juice and relax.

Sleek, modern and beautiful, yet still accessible for families. Dinner was amazing with many Japanese delicacies, and the breakfast buffet was also wonderful. The private onsen for our family was worth the small fee. Across the street for the main onsen experience put this experience over the top.

Very pretty and organic style hotel on beautiful grounds with wandering paths, koi pond and running brook. The staff was professional. The onsen was clean and the outside baths made for watching the sunset a real treat. Highly recommended! We will be back!

Both the variety and quality of the breakfast and dinner menus were great. Bathing suit onsen area was different (i'm not sure i'm a fan of the different colours of water) but really enjoyed the traditional onsen at Yunesun. Many outdoor areas meant that none were crowded. The water temp did feel a littl bit cool compared to the private onsen at the hotel. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately is was raining during our stay. It would have been nice to have a shuttle from the hotel to Yunesun to avoid walking in the rain as it is a rather steep walk.

This hotel was the highlight of the 4 hotels that we stayed in during our two week visit. We had a very large room (double twin) that allowed us to open up our suitcases. Room was clean, smelled fresh, had a beautiful view of the stream and maple trees changing colors. They provided yukatas and slippers to wear around the property, which most other people wore to breakfast and dinner. The property was recently renovated a few years ago and is very nice. The breakfast and dinner buffet was insane. I think we got our monies worth on just the sushi, waygu beef and alcohol (all you can eat and drink!) There is something for everyone in you party. The room was quiet until someone would be talking (usually the rude ones from vachina) while walking the hallway. We booked a private onsen one night and that was magical for our tired bodies. The only way to get around the area is by bus, unless you have a car or package tour. The bus was very crowded (PACKED!) round 10:00 when we went to Lake Ashi/Odawara. It was very cold and rainy (mid November) so pack a heavy jacket. We did laundry again at this hotel (do 'smaller than what you think' loads or it won't dry). There is a indoor pool across the street as well as a Family Mart. Not much else in the area. I would definitely recommend this property.

清潔なホテルでした。 自動販売機、コインランドリーなど全てカードでの支払いで便利な点とそうでない点があり残念です。 レストランは全てbuffetを選択しました。 新しい食器を取ると食器やスプーン、フォークに毎回食べ物がついており もう少し改善してほしいです。 ほとんどのスタッフは親切で気持ちよく滞在できましたが、帰りの日にフロントの方にタクシーを呼んでもらおうとお願いしたら、で連絡をとタクシー会社の番号をもらいまし私の携帯はアメリカの物なので電話は使えない事を伝え、電話をしてほしいとお願いした所、嫌な顔をされました。結果的にはしていただきましたが、フロントの方に嫌な顔を見せられるのは気持ちの良いものではありません。

夜エレベーター前のフロアの電気が付いてなく暗かったです。 食事の時間が19:30のプランを予約しましたが 事前の承諾なく20:00に変更になっていました。 建物は新しく部屋も綺麗でしたが 料金に見合うサービスが不足していると感じました。

Ten of us checked in in the five rooms, sadly one of the rooms were not properly cleaned, we found some dirt on the carpet, but we did understand the incident should be caused by the previous guests, and the hotel was nice enough to change to a bigger room for us. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful, and the hotel was quite newly refurbished, just unlike other old-fashioned onsen hotel, the entertainment in this hotel was quite limited. The entire family gave very high compliments to the food quality! Both dinner and breakfast were awesome! Overall this is a hotel for relax and a break from city life.

箱根駅伝が終わった翌日から、1泊利用しました。目的は、駅伝ルートを車で辿ることで、ホテルは、泊まれるところさえあれば良いや、くらいの気持ちでした。 ところが、部屋のキレイさや、食事の種類・味も満足でしたし、お風呂も良かったです。 是非、改めて、またゆっくり来たいです。

We love the onsens in the hotel and that Yunessan is just next door. The room is clean and has lots of usb to charge our devices. The breakfast and dinner buffets were great with lots of variety and different options. We would definitely come back to this hotel the next time we visit Hakone.

The hotel is a newer property with nice aesthetics. We stayed in a room with 2 double beds meant to fit 2 adults and 2 children (ages 10 and 12). Even by our British standards it was small. The dining was all buffet - breakfast and dinner. I thinks fairly hard to eat too healthy. The soft serve ice cream and bags of French fries were on offer at both meals. Kids loved it but it was a nightmare to police. The public onsen is completely fine to take children in with you. You are going in stark naked, though - so it’s perhaps not for everyone. The tunnels in across the street is “wacky” as described by our 10 year old - being polite. Frankly it was gross. I’ve never smelt a pool that was so disgusting - beyond strong chlorine. The chemicals felt like they were there to kill all the wee from the volume of children in the baths. Best bit was the “pyjamas” which we all wore to dinner every night after our onsen on the roof.we also enjoyed the balcony off of reception where you can get a coffee or juice and relax.

Hotel is new & beautiful. Compound is lovely with a garden to walk. Breakfast & dinner offers a good spread with free flow of wine & beer. We stayed for 3 nights, would help if they could change some of the dishes daily. Can get boring eating the same spread over 3 days. Room was compact but comfortable. No bathtub. Will pick a bigger room next time. Location is great. Local bus stop right in front of hotel. Very convenient. Do note that u may not be allowed to board if your luggage is big & bulky. Seek help from the hotel’s free shuttle service instead.

Check-in is strictly at 3pm — not a minute earlier — and staff were unhelpful throughout. It honestly felt like dealing with machines, not humans. The property caters almost entirely to Japanese guests, with little effort made for others. All announcements, including check-in and dinner calls, were made only in Japanese, leaving non-Japanese speaking guests confused. The self check-in/check-out kiosks are not user-friendly, and staff showed no willingness to assist. For dinner, it wasn’t even a proper reservation system — I was told to physically go upstairs, ask for approval from someone at a desk, and then return, instead of staff handling it directly. Very inconvenient and unnecessary. Overall, the service was cold, unwelcoming, and not up to international standards. Not recommended unless service improves dramatically.

Buffet had a lot of selection but none of it was very tasty. The hotel is not all bad just the experience felt disappointing especially considering the price paid. The checking in terminal was frustrating and glitchy.

The entrance staff didn’t even notice i was trying to lift my heavy suit case into the trunk when i was doing it right in front of them, there were two, just standing there like sticks. In the end I had to call out, and ask them to help saying “ excuse my could you help me with my heavy suitcase ?” And the girl was like “ oh” and really had not noticed until then. That’s the moment I realized that perhaps this hotel never was the level of the quality I’d expect for all the other hotels I pay 60k yen per night.

It was ridiculously easy to check in! All we really needed was our passports, which we keep on our person at all times. The courteous nature of the staff REALLY stood out. This hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed at in Japan or in the U.S. I would have paid doubled for a hotel this nice in the U.S.

This hotel was the highlight of the 4 hotels that we stayed in during our two week visit. We had a very large room (double twin) that allowed us to open up our suitcases. Room was clean, smelled fresh, had a beautiful view of the stream and maple trees changing colors. They provided yukatas and slippers to wear around the property, which most other people wore to breakfast and dinner. The property was recently renovated a few years ago and is very nice. The breakfast and dinner buffet was insane. I think we got our monies worth on just the sushi, waygu beef and alcohol (all you can eat and drink!) There is something for everyone in you party. The room was quiet until someone would be talking (usually the rude ones from vachina) while walking the hallway. We booked a private onsen one night and that was magical for our tired bodies. The only way to get around the area is by bus, unless you have a car or package tour. The bus was very crowded (PACKED!) round 10:00 when we went to Lake Ashi/Odawara. It was very cold and rainy (mid November) so pack a heavy jacket. We did laundry again at this hotel (do 'smaller than what you think' loads or it won't dry). Loved it, so relaxing. Got the breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet both days - wow, very well fed and worth the price! Enjoyed walking in the garden in the morning and after dark with the lights. A very comfortable women-only onsen experience - I went three times in two days and I also got a nice reflexology massage booked just hours beforehand via a QR code in the room so the flexibility was excellent. Took advantage of free tea and coffee in the lobby around the clock and even grabbed a whisky at the bar one night. You could really check in, get into your robes and sandals, and never leave :) Although I did leave to visit an art museum and to ride the ropeway and the free shuttle from the hotel was super convenient to get me to both places (not so much for getting back though)

The hotel has a shuttle bus which provides transport to Gora Railway station and the Cable car. We enjoyed walking to the Hakone Open-air Museum even though it was uphill on the return to the hotel.

Everything was perfect except for the organization of the buffet. The architect made a big mistake there. The aisle between the buffets is far too narrow. Hardly two people can cross each other. This is why there were various incidents. During our four-day stay, at least five things fell to the floor because the guests were bumping into each other. For us, this was an imposition. It's a shame, otherwise everything would have been perfect.

Sleek, modern and beautiful, yet still accessible for families. Dinner was amazing with many Japanese delicacies, and the breakfast buffet was also wonderful. The private onsen for our family was worth the small fee. Across the street for the main onsen experience put this experience over the top.

Bathing suit onsen area was different (i'm not sure i'm a fan of the different colours of water) but really enjoyed the traditional onsen at Yunesun. Many outdoor areas meant that none were crowded. The water temp did feel a littl bit cool compared to the private onsen at the hotel. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately is was raining during our stay. It would have been nice to have a shuttle from the hotel to Yunesun to avoid walking in the rain as it is a rather steep walk.

We really didn’t enjoy this hotel. The onsen offsite was incredible over crowded especially not suitable for couple. The hotel makes you join a queue line to get rooms, dinner, breakfast etc even at your designated times. Staff was not helpful with calling a cab or helping us with directions. Overall wish we didn’t book this stop on our trip. Have had a great time elsewhere on this Japan trip would not recommend for foreign travelers. Staff was rude on checkout for a very unfamiliar system for foreign travelors.

This is a family-friendly hotel with a strong focus on kids, so there are lots of children around, especially at lunch, which can be overwhelming. The hotel is very nice; the pool and gardens are also attractive. However, if you're visiting without small children, it might not be the best choice.

I am allergic to seafood, we talked to the staff and the chef and no one helped me or cared about it. They just didn’t take any responsibility, it was horrible, they should change.

There were great instructions in English for the bath. There is a very handy shuttle bus to Gora that is a helpful additional alternative to bus. This place is only about two years old so everything is very clean and fresh.
