Giza Pyramids Inn

We stayed one night and had to pay for the airport shuttle. The room was located on the 4th floor and the staff had to help with the luggage as there is no elevator. Terrace has a good view of the Pyramids and Sphinx. you can watch the light and sound show from the terrace. Breakfast was awesome with falafel, boiled eggs, bread, fruits, yogurt etc. Hotel is located just 2 minutes from the Pyramid entrance. Rooms were big but decor was dark and dingy. Water pressure in shower was weak.

Bueno lo malo primero que es lo que a la gente le preocupa si te van a buscar gratis si es más de 4 noches la estadía y no cuenten con la misma ventaja a la hora de regresar a casa pk aunque te pases un mes allí te cobran el regreso 25 dólares recomiendo Uber el desayuno es gratis pero es lo mismo todos los días y eso del campo de gol no hay nada como tampoco ningún bar en la terraza ni lunch en la azotea que por cierto magnifica con show de luces que no hace falta pagar y la vista a la esfinge y pirámides la verdad muy impresionante hay puedes pedir la comida y ellos te la subes desde abajo pero no es que tengan un restaurante ni nada cerca hay un KFC un Pizza Hut y un restaurante bastante decente agua dan gratis las que necesites y el hotel ubicado casi donde venden los tíquet de la entrada a las pirámides pues eso es buenísimo y vaya temprano que se formas unas líneas que no acaban nunca el entorno por fuera está sucio ok muchos caballos y camellos que los usan dentro de las pirámides pasan por la calle del hotel y sueltan sus po po allí así que imaginé eso diario por lo demás todo bastante bien el Uber funciona de maravilla aproveché y hablan un poco español la recepción suerte

Convenient location across from the exit of the pyramid of Giza, and a 5 minute walk from the ticket booth/entrance of the pyramids. Mostafa makes a conscious effort to make customers comfortable, starting with a welcome drink on the rooftop and accommodative with luggage storage. The only con is the walls are thin, so you can hear people in the hallways.

This is a modest hotel and a family business. The owner and family that works there are very helpful and care for your safesty. If you need to exchange money they do it for you, if you have trouble getting transportation ask them and they will help you. Free ride from airport to the hotel and $25 to go back to the airport. They serve a good breakfast and you can get free water bottles as needed. If you need an iron just ask for it. The view from the rooftop is magical!!! You see the pyramids and Sphinx. We took pictures in the morning and at night! You can also see for free the laser show on the pyramids, since you can see it from the rooftop. There do not have an elevator but for us it was not a problem. The neighborhood is safe, just people around trying to sell souvenirs. We had a good experience and are thankful with the hotel staff.

An amazing hotel. Woke up to a rooftop breakfast right next to the Sphinx and Pyramids. The room and bathroom are clean, efficient and modern. The staff is excellent, helpful and professional.

One of the beds was brocken, the bedding had stains, a hotel employee was very noisy at night, making it impossible to a sleep!

Bonjour, Nous avons été très déçus des conditions de l’hébergement.L’Hotel est très loin d’être à la hauteur de sa présentation sur votre site ! Il est très mal construit et très mal entretenu !: - la suite que nous avions (d’après le gérant toutes les suites) n’ont pas de fenêtres !!!!!!!! Ma femme et la fille asthmatiques ont failli suffoquer ! - la moquette est posée de manière approximative - de la moisissure derrière le réfrigérateur qui fait un bruit atroce - le mobilier vieux et cassé et le coussins déchirés - pas de cintres dans la penderie qui a un tiroir cassé - l’accès à la terrasse passe par une surélévation (due à la concurrence à la vue avec l’immeuble devant) avec une structure métallique très dangereuse et périlleuse ! - toute la nuit nous sommes réveillés par des bruits de machines (pompes d’eau?clim …) dans l’immeuble. - le petit déjeuner consiste en une omelette qui dégouline d’huile et des chips ( de bon matin?!) - de notre suite au RDC nous entendions toute la nuit les personnes à la réception discuter et rire à haute voix - nous avions l’impression que le gérant comptait le papier toilette à la feuille près vu qu’il ne faisait que diminuer les quantités - pas assez de serviettes mises à dispo même après demande, l’odeur des serviettes était très chimique et cela nous faisait peur ... - je vous passe les erreurs de prises de commandes (café au lait au lieu de café...)

So, if you are going to go places and use the hotel for just sleep it is ok. The staff is great and will help you out if you need anything. While waiting for a ride outside, the owner spoke to us and made sure we were comfortable. They make good meals and the view of the pyramids are nice. It is also next door to several restaurants and stores. However, the rooms weren't all that great and had a smell. It was also noisy outside. There are no elevators, so you have to climb stairs to get to your room and the rooftop, but staff will carry your suitcase to your room. The hotel is next to several stables so it will smell like horse outside. Overall I was happy with the hotel, but if you are not a comfort inn type of person, get a nicer hotel.

Dirty, room not clean. The walls are so thin we hear all the noise and from outside. I got to say the staff from the roof top is really nice.

The workers were very much helpful when it comes to tours and food choices in the area. The Wi-Fi was a little choppy. I had to stay in the lobby at times to get better service.

We had a late arrival and were sent to an unfinished 6 story building. Building is under construction, building material everywhere in the stairs. Surrounded by 5 people 3am in the morning and charged credit card on the spot. Feel like kidnapped and almost called police. Nobody lives in the building but us. Next day instead of walking to pyramids they said they will send car for us. Waited an hour and a driver came, who does not speak english and kept wanting to drive us to Memphis pyramids so he can make more money. I insisted Giza pyramids he dropped us off and charge us 200EGP. Really tired and hired Uber to get back and found out this Uber driver is an exception (more later). 2nd morning, called texted manager repeatedly to tell him we want to move back to where we were supposed to stay, Giza pyramids Inn. No responses. We decided to leave to visit Cairo while getting issue resolved. 3 Uber drivers couldn't get to us even though our location is clearly on the map. An hour later a good samaritan helped talk to the 3rd driver and drove us to a place where the driver can meet us. Later learned due to road construction all normal roads into our place were blocked. 4 hours, showing reservation from Orbitz and insisting not going back, he agreed to move us. Uber to hotel and he sent a guy to go with us pick up luggage. The guy charged us 300EGP, to move back to the place we were supposed to stay originally-Giza pyramids Inn. Avoid this place at all costs.

Hotel is ok. It is very old (like most things in this part of Giza). They will nickel and dime you to death with offers for airport pickups, tours, etc. You can get better deals on your own. Overall, the hotel is fine, just don't use them for any extra services.

Once we were checked into the correct property, the stay was ok. The driver did show up to pick us up at Cairo Airport, so we started on the right track. The driver, was nice and spoke good English, he mentioned he was just the driver for the hotel and he had a day job at another hotel during the day. He drove us at 2:30am to a Hotel called Pyramids Glory Inn, they made me believe this was where I made my reservation. Filthy place, my room on the last floor, no elevator. I refused to stay here because this was not the place I reserved. After they saw me upset, they told me that had another property around the corner and they could show it to me, to see if I liked it. Of course this is where I had made my reservation, Giza Pyramids Inn, with a roof top restaurant, elevator and my room with the view of the pyramids. To my surprise our driver was there, in charge of reception with another guy. They mentioned to go rest and tomorrow management would talk to me about the extra payment. I told them I had already paid and there were no conversations to be had. They never bothered me again. If the driver would have taken me to the right property the first time, they would have gotten a 5 all the way. They try to scam you, if you let them. They have multiple properties and they put you wherever they feel like. I had my reservation and room details with the name of the hotel. They think because you are tired and jet lagged, you will just take what they give you. Be careful!

I think the hotel’s amenities could be more specific for example, the free airport shuttle is only from the airport to the hotel and you must stay two consecutive nights, breakfast was supposed to be served at 7:30, it wasn’t, you actually need to tell the staff if you are having breakfast so it can be made for you. We booked this hotel for the amenities, they should be more informative.

Fantastic stay. Egypt is chaotic so it’s nice to be in a hotel that looks after you and makes sure you know what you are doing and will help in any way they can. There driver Islam was amazing, great hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. And the views are the best around.

Do not book! We were turned away upon arrival. Their excuse was that their website was old even though we had a valid reservation that we showed them and it was already paid for.

The service was good, the guy how work as waitress is a great and servicial man. Great location. Great view to the pyramids. The only concern was that if you pay with card they request a extra 10%, and the description doesn't said that we had to pay in dollars because they doesn't like egypcias pounds also anybody likes egypcias pounds in Egypt!!! So I recommend just to change a small amount of dollars.

The hotel is at the foot of the pyramids. You are so close you can see and hear the light show in the evening. Nor, Leemy and Abbdula were extraordinary! They go above and beyond what you might expect from a hotel staff. I met the hotel owner and told him about the service I received. They’ll arrange any tour you want to go on and they provide a driver and a guide, in any language you prefer. So nice to eat breakfast, on the roof or in your room. There may be more expensive hotels to stay in but for the money you’ll be overwhelmed with your stay here. Thank you Nor for taking such good care of me while I was your guest.

The hotel was OK. Friendly staff and just a few meters away from the pyramids complex entrance. The sorrounding area is a bit depressing, but that's not the hotel's fault

We liked our stay there in room 109. We liked the breakfasts on the rooftop with a lovely view of the pyramids. The staff were polite, helpful and considerate.

Ho scelto questa struttura per la posizione e perché aveva ristorante con lounge bar!benissimo nessun ristorante e nessuna lounge bar,pulizie della camera solo su richiesta.Attesa per la macchina in arrivo per la struttura quasi un ora avendo inviato i miei dati una settimana prima.Trasporto per l aeroporto previsto gratuito ma volevano 30 dollari per portarmi il giorno della partenza.Molte cose scritte su questa struttura non sono vere…Sconsiglio altamente di andare in questa struttura.

de locatie is echt geweldig en de mensen die er werken zijn erg prettig in de omgang. Het ontbijt viel tegen, koude eieren en de falafel was ook niet je van het. Een positief punt was dat het wel uitgebreid is. Al met al zou ik zeker nog een keer langskomen. Prijs/kwaliteit is wat mij betreft precies goed!
