I enjoyed the room, however, our valet left our car window rolled down and the interior was soaked when we left. When I called to ask about it, they said they would call me back and now it’s a week later with no call. Staff obviously don’t care.

Easy to find location, competent and professional staff. Breakfast had broad selection and nice presented. Coffee service all day was appreciated. WiFi worked well, liked having internet access to Netflix and YouTube. The only downside was the $50 a night parking fee adding $200 to the stay. Seems a bit steep but suppose it is what the market will bear in the downtown area. Valet service was excellent.

We were in town for a night for a Queen concert. We valet parked our car with the hotel valet. Went to leave the following day and they couldn’t find our car keys. Found my car… vandalized with the car keys still inside of it. They offered to have someone come 2 hours later to replace our broken glasses and we declined as we had a 5 hour drive. Won’t be back.

I definitely would not recommend this place just for the simple fact that the only parking option you have is valet parking which is an additional $50. When me and my family arrived we just unloaded and changed our clothes and came downstairs. I called the valet for our vehicle and it hadn’t even been 30 minutes since we arrived and our vehicle smelled like straight Marijuana! I had to change my plans till they got rid of the smell. I have 2 children under 5 and I was not going to put them back in that car! Once we got home we still had to completely wash the kids chairs because they still smelled! The manager was nice but this should not have happened! It’s like they hotboxed my car or something! Definitely not aceptable!

Amazing hotel but parking is not. I will list all the pros but first the only con: parking is $55 per night (valet), when I asked about other options for parking I was told the Aquarium parking is $25 but you lose access at 9pm until opening in morning, and to “not use street parking” because it’s “downtown Atlanta” (just a few blocks from Mission and Salvatipn Army) and you don’t want to “risk being towed”- free street parking on Mills Street (adjacent to rear of hotel). Could have used $250 on so much more. Do I regret spending on valet? No because they were also very kind, respectful, and quick to get our cars. Pros: amazing staff who greeted us with smiles each time we entered, clean, safe, and one of the most amazing “free” breakfast buffets we have had at a hotel. I will 100% be staying again but opting out of valet- although the valets were amazing as well.

Room for Improvement at a Convenient Downtown Location I stayed here over a recent weekend and was unfortunately let down by several aspects of the experience. The breakfast service was poorly managed—long lines, limited seating, and several items consistently ran out without timely replenishment. It didn't meet the expectations I’ve come to associate with Marriott properties. Additionally, only one of the two elevators was consistently in service, creating long wait times and crowding, especially during peak hours. The bar area was also underwhelming—limited drink selections, no real ambiance, and it felt like more of an afterthought than a guest amenity. Lastly, while I understand the urban location, the presence of numerous unhoused individuals right outside the property made the entrance feel less secure, particularly in the evenings. Staff were friendly, and the location is great for downtown attractions like the Georgia Aquarium, but overall, the stay fell short of expectations. I hope improvements are made in these key areas.

I liked the staff very much. Unfortunately I had two issues. A towel with blood stains and after requesting room service - which you must do these days because it’s not a given - I came back to my room door being open and unlocked with the deadbolt as housekeeping had left it. My room was unlocked for hours. Not good. Luckily nothing was stolen. The room had been serviced but the surfaces were not wiped down. Also not to standard.

Great location across the street from the aquarium, however, as soon as we circled the block to get to the parking garage we quickly realized it is not a block we would walk our around to go out and get dinner. Check in was fast and friendly. The elevators were a little scary from the all the noises they make. We had one of the best rooms in the hotel on the 12th floor but it was filthy! There was looked like animal feces on the floor and someone’s nail clipping. The headboard of the bed was disgusting and I didn’t even want to touch it. I’m not sure when the floor was last cleaned. It was very disappointing for a Marriott brand hotel. Breakfast was decent but they couldn’t keep up with demand. The valet was a very worker and had our car to us quickly after check out even though she was slammed.

The hotel overall was not as expected. The room was not clean and even when the Housekeeping team came into the room pillows were thrown on the dirty floor while making the bed. Hairs all over the place and a dirty duvet was the cherry on top. Plus $50 per night for parking was ridiculous.

Only parking available is Valet. The staff was great, very nice, and very helpful. Room was just okay, needed a deep cleaning under things, in corners. Shower needed help. Moldy caulking, someone else’s hairs, and empty shampoo/soap dispensers on the wall. One 3/4 empty roll of TP with no spare for backup.

Lobby bathroom was dirty, the doors on the stalls didn't close properly Bathroom in room, the plumbing was falling out of the wall, toilet was too low to tge ground and loud. Didn't like the laminate flooring, it's too loud when you drop something. You can hear other people in their room's above dropping things. Didn't like the sliding door to bathroom, it was hard to open and close and it didn't feel private. Remote to tv didn't work well, it wasn't resposive.

The hotel is very nice, but parking is not existent without valet, which is quite expensive. Breakfast is supposed to be served till 10 am, but food stopped coming out well before that, so finding something to eat at 9:40 am proved difficult. The staff was very friendly, and location was excellent. If your intense is to go to a Georgia Tech game, visit the varsity, visit the Georgia aquarium, or visit the world of Coca-Cola. All are within walking distance. There’s a nightclub next-door to the hotel that played extremely loud music until 2 AM on Friday night. Even on the 12th floor, it was impossible to get some rest. Saturday night was better.

The hotel itself was very nice. The public areas and rooms were clean. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were all very nice, especially the breakfast staff. It is valet parking only, which sometimes requires a wait. However, the big problem is there is an outdoor music venue right beside the hotel. Even on a top floor, the music was so loud at night that the windows rattled. One night they played until 3:20am…. The music kept everyone up / disrupted sleep.

Check- in process was not smooth. Keys didn’t work multiple times trying to get into our room. When we got to our room it was not the room we had booked online. Our blinds didn’t work- they had to come change batteries. The morning I woke up to check out they had charged me for $400 in valet fees- I did not have a car. Needless to say, I will not be staying here again. I expected more from a Marriott property than this.

5 Stars – Exceptional Service Thanks to Jai! I had an amazing experience at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Atlanta Downtown, and the credit goes entirely to the incredible front desk concierge, Jai. I arrived much earlier than expected, around 9am, and was initially worried about the 2pm check-in policy. To my relief, Jai went above and beyond by not only allowing us to check in early, but also upgrading our rooms. We were a large group in town to celebrate my husband’s birthday and GT graduation, with each person booking separately. Jai took the time to help coordinate our room placements so we could be close to one another, even helping strategize the arrangement. When the rest of our group arrived, she handled each check-in seamlessly and with such warmth. Her professionalism, patience, and attention to detail truly made our stay effortless and welcoming. Jai is the reason I’m giving this hotel a full 5 stars — she turned what could have been a stressful arrival into a smooth and enjoyable experience. Thank you!

Location of this hotel was great. Very close to the attractions we wanted to do so we were able to walk to them. Lots of traffic so being able to walk made it easier to get around. Overall, hotel was perfect for our stay, clean and comfortable for our stay.

It is a nice hotel and is conveniently located within walking distance of the aquarium, coke museum, college football HOF, and many great restaurants. One thing is parking anywhere near this hotel will run you $40 a nice minimum. The room was great minus some cosmetic blemishes on the headboard and other spots. Bed and pillows were super comfy. Staff was nice. Breakfast was delicious.

Hotel was very clean, friendly staff. Location was awesome! Right in front of CocaCola World and Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Park and downtown area. However, despite good breakfast options, staff took forever to replace food items that were running low or had finished. It was a situation that happened every single day.

Lovely hotel. Great location if visiting the Aquarium. However, the front entrance has terrible access to the lobby, especially when arriving by car. Also, we were disappointed that there was no room service.

Had a nice view of the city from our room. I loved the bed and shower. The staff was fantastic. They really made me feel welcomed. I even met someone from my hometown who was working there. My only small (tiny, really) complaint is with the breakfast. Only eggs and sausage every morning. No pancakes or waffles. No grits. But there were english muffins and bagels available and a toaster so it was still good. I would definitely book again. Next time, a room with a panoramic view and a longer stay. 😁

Nice hotel. Clean room. Nice people. Perfect location if you are here to visit the aquarium. Only issue was the breakfast. Was told breakfast started at 6:30am. That really only coffee and dry cereal. Nothing hot was available until 7:30am. Kinda messed up our early-planned departure as we waited and watched staff mill around and slowly bring out food. Sausages showed up around 7am. By 7:30 we gave up on any eggs or bacon. We left and found a breakfast place outside the city.

Bartender was poor service. Had valid ID’s and still looked at us as if they were fake, as well as serving a drink and trying to take it back due to her thinking we were underage. Even called us “suspect” and gave us a hard time for an upright ID (even though if she just looked, she would’ve seen we were over 21), and when the next person that came up to the bar also had an upright, she gave them no issues at all. I get some people are cautious over people who look young, but it is NOT great customer service to give your customers weird looks and try to take back a drink you already served.

Parking is $55. They only clean the rooms every other day. So no fresh towels daily. The rates double for events. Homeless people all iver the property. 2 shots cost $40. First shift counter lady is rude. Breakfast is basic. Lamp in out room didnt work. Outlets did not work. Floors dirty. Hallway carpet is nasty. So many things wrong with this place its unreal. Not even if it was the last place to stay would i stay there again. Good luck if you do.

Stayed here for our anniversary weekend and had a great experience. The location is perfect for downtown Atlanta. The real standout was Zamyah at the front desk — she went above and beyond, even writing us a sweet anniversary card, and was so kind and helpful the whole stay. Little touches like that make all the difference. Would absolutely stay here again!

The convenience can't be beat- right next to the aquarium and coca cola world, and it's one of the few hotels in the area that does 3-bed rooms (2 queens + pull out). It comes with some small quirks though- the free breakfast is pretty slim and ends quite early (10) even on weekends. There's no proper hotel restaurant for lunch/dinner either, but you have a plentiful variety in the area so that's not a big deal. In the rooms- the bathrooms weirdly lack towel hooks, and we had some issues with outlets not all working. All in all a good stay with more than enough pros to our weigh the cons. Star of the stay was Ruby at the front desk- she got me checked in early and really showed off why southern hospitality has its reputation.
