Phillip Island Leisure Centre and Phillip Island Wildlife Park are also worth visiting. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with ecotours and hiking nearby.

Apart from having to provide our own sheets and towels everything else was perfect! Just don’t open windows as most are broken and the fireplace was blocked or not cleaned so smoke was coming into the room, the size and location is perfect and we all enjoyed our time together in the house

The home has a feel of comfort from the time you walk in the door the location is ideal for a relaxing stay the kitchen wood cooker is a blast from the past it is super easy to light and the view from the lounge is wonderful sitting in front of the open fire with a drink and enjoying the view is delightful

Cute cottage, surprisingly spacious with great character. Quiet with nice view of the water from the rear balcony. Comfy beds. On the downside, no wood or kindling provided for the fire at all and very basic tea/coffee supplies - we had to go to Cowes to buy everything. Kitchen not very clean - grease splatter over the kettle and the light over the bench with bugs stuck on it. Information folder provided quite out of date. Garden was overgrown and indoor plants all wilting when we arrived. Just felt like it needed a bit more love and attention to detail to take it up a notch..

A lovely old cottage with all mod cons in a quiet street just a minutes walk to the water. Views of western port bay from the deck, and it was lovely to be able to open all the doors and take advantage of the wrap around verandah and the multiple sitting areas to just relax with a book and a drink. Our second time staying here and hopefully not the last.

We came across Outback Chef's Wild Food Farm. Had a lovely breakfast and meander through their bush trail. Walking distance from cottage. Highly recommend staying at Captain Lochs.

Captain Lock's Cottage was beautiful, full of history and very charming. Beautifully decorated with the old and the new. Located in the seaside town of Rhyll Phillip Island very quiet and perfect for our weekend getaway.

We came for the world superbikes and to celebrate dad’s 75th. The location is nice quite part of town but only 10km from Cowes being the town Centre

Cute cottage, surprisingly spacious with great character. Quiet with nice view of the water from the rear balcony. Comfy beds. On the downside, no wood or kindling provided for the fire at all and very basic tea/coffee supplies - we had to go to Cowes to buy everything. Kitchen not very clean - grease splatter over the kettle and the light over the bench with bugs stuck on it. Information folder provided quite out of date. Garden was overgrown and indoor plants all wilting when we arrived. Just felt like it needed a bit more love and attention to detail to take it up a notch..

The three of us loved the cottage. Beautiful water views. Lovely verandah to sit with a cuppa or wine. Spacious, beds comfortable, peaceful. Easy walk to jetty and cafe. We came across Outback Chef's Wild Food Farm. Had a lovely breakfast and meander through their bush trail. Walking distance from cottage. Highly recommend staying at Captain Lochs.

What a wonderful experience we had staying at this delightful property. Wonderful location, great for picturesque walks with our darling Clifford the Wonderdog, and well located for daytrips around the island.

We enjoyed our first visit last December so very much we returned for a second visitThis property is nothing short of spectacular from the beautiful cottage , pretty garden and breathtaking viewsThe beds are comfortable with lovely linens, very clean with an excellent floor plan for family/friends get togethers. Open fireplace works a treat!Thank you Angeline for sharing this beautiful home away from home I’m sure we’ll be back again
