Hotel Bremer Schlagd

There are a lot of hotel choices in the old part of Hann. Muenden. Most are expensive. This one is slightly cheaper, but for many obvious reasons. First; the good... it's right alongside the river, and everything is very walkable. Now several things that are odd, quirky and/or can be improved... The staff could have been a bit more welcoming, we're fluent in both English and German, but we felt there was a communication gap. The property is several buildings cobbled together. We were given a room with 2 windows that you see in the hotel's picture one row below the top. This meant going both up, and down, a total of 3 or 4 staircases, the last one being VERY steep. We're able and healthy, but it was odd. The room we did receive was quite small, and yes, German hotel rooms tend to be, but this was much smaller than anywhere else we stayed in Germany. The bathroom was even smaller, and I had to duck to shower. There was a glass (for water? toothbrushes?) in the bathroom, upside down, but was not very clean. Did not use. We visited on a very hot day in the summer; no we weren't expecting air conditioning, but you should note that there is none. Breakfast was an OK spread (compared some places), but not the highest of quality (cheeses/meats/breads, etc.). Before you say; "stupid Americans!" note that we have studied in Germany, visit Germany often, and are fluent. Had low expectations. As a place to crash, it's OK. As a place to enjoy and relax in and feel at home; no.

Mysig ställe i äldre byggnad. De borde kalla sig för B&B istället för hotell. Det var rent men väldigt slitet. De frågade om vi ville ha AC men en fläkt. Vår räddning blev att det gick att öppna fönsterna. Frukosten var okej, bra bröd men annars inte mycket att glädjas åt. Bra läge nära centrum och precis vid ån.

Der Empfang war freundlich und das Zimmer schon bezugsfertig, obwohl wir eher da waren. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral zur Innenstadt und den Flußarmen. Das Frühstück war ausreichend. Die Fahrräder konnten wir in einem kleinen Raum sicher abstellen.

Trevligt välkomnande och hjälp upp med väska för husets alla trappor. Charmigt hus, ok rum dock saknades gardin för takfönstret vilket gjorde att det var ljust under natten. De nämnde inte att betalningen bara var reserverad till hälften och bad inte om betalning vid avfär vilket nu orsakar oss besvär. Väldigt trevlig liten stad dock var måndag ingen bra dag då många restauranger var stängda.

Cozy placed. Hard to find. Picture on Hotels.com are edited. Staff was nice. When they first arrived! We reserved late, arrived to a locked up hotel, with no staff present. After calling several on a phone number put on a door with tape! , a young friendly guy came and checked us in. During the night a bunsh of drunk people were running around the hotel halls and knocking on all doors. Not possible to reach the staff to ask them to get the party stopped. Beds where of good quality. The room and bathroom were dirty and just really worn down.

Wifi was very weak, did not work. Breakfast was below standard. Scrambled eggs were cold and juices were warm. When I asked about the eggs, I was told that when it was made at 6.30 it was warm. Many different stairs and steps with no safety markings. We had an accident, a person tripping in the step down to the breakfast room.

Generelt slidt hotel. En af de hoteller hvor man er i tvivl om sengetøjet er blevet skiftet, der var i hvert fald skidt og misfarvninger på senge linned. Morgenmad OK.

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, Zimmer und Bad wurden während des Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt, Betten wurden gemacht. Die Matratze war i.O. Frühstücksbuffett war immer das gleiche, das Müsli (mit Haferflocken) war verdorben mit Motten, so etwas MUSS auffallen!!.Einzig die Lage ist gut gewesen, schön an der Werra und zentral in die Innenstadt und für (Rad) Ausflüge.

Super location where two rivers meet AND in city centre. Beautiful old building, interior is however very dated. Carpets are old, but the sheets and the shower are clean.

Top Lage, sehr nette Rezeption, typischer Altbau-Fachwerk-Charme. Bad im Einzelzimmer sehr klein (nix für große/korpulente Menschen). Die Betten haben bequeme Matratzen, weich aber nicht durchhängend. Frühstücksbüffet überraschend vielfältig mit großer Auswahl. Einzelverpackungen mögen nicht jedem gefallen, aber an einem Büffet ohne Bedienung ist es hygienisch und praktisch. Gute Auswahl an Markenprodukten. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und empfehlenswert.

Das war mit Abstand das schlechteste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das ich jemals bei einem Hotelzimmer hatte. Ein kleines, dunkles Zimmer mit alten Teppich und sehr kleinem Bad. Hatte noch nie ein schlechteres Zimmer für einen dreistelligen Preis. Ist mir ein Rätsel, wie das Hotel so eine gute Bewertung bekommen hat.

Uriges Hotel in der Innenstadt , immer wieder gerne , super nettes Personal und einen allgemeinen gepflegten Eindruck, Wünsche werden angehört und bestmöglich umgesetzt, toller Ausgangspunkt um in die Stadt zukommen

Rigtig hyggeligt sted. Skæve gulve og vægge som et bindingsværkshus nu har 😉 Virkelig autentisk MIDT i den hyggelige by. Perfekt placering

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis unterirdisch! Für diesen Preis für 1 Nacht im Familienzimmer kann man besseres erwarten! Discounterbrötchen und um 9 wird nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Das geht bei Frühstück bis 10 Uhr gar nicht!
