Bangalee, Unidad 15/41 Soldiers Point Road

We really want to give positive feedback every time we go on holiday. Unfortunately the only thing we can say about this property is disgusting, and its an understatement. Unliveable! I'll let you judge: 1. The smell when you open the door the first time is terrible. You can tell that everything in this apartment is so old and nothing was replaced in ages. We had to open all the windows (on some windows the locks are broken so we couldn't open them) to be able to be in the apartment. 2. The furnitures are filthy, stained and smell horrible. You don't want to sit on this, it is full of germs, no doubt 3. The metal chairs at the balcony are full of corrosion, good luck sitting on them 4. The so called bench stools are so low, they serve no purpose and they are half of the size they should be 5. The carpet in the living room hasn't been replaced or washed in years 6. The carpets in the bedroom smells so bad 7. No air-conditioner in the apartment, in an area where the temperature goes up to 36 and more, very unpleasant to be in the apartment when it is that hot outside 8. Lastly, the kitchen cupboards are so old and smell so bad. The smell of mold is so strong that you have to wash everything you get out of the cupboards with hot water and dishwashing liquid. In summary, this is a disrespect and insulting towards the guests, we will recommend to avoid staying in this place, unless the owners show some care towards the guests and make it liveable.

Ordinary and dated

It’s 2024, and we all turn up with iPads and phones to charge, but we have to shove the bed around and keep it off the wall to use a power point, and the tv is facing the wrong way. It’s simple. Provide power boards for the bedrooms and the living area that accomodate USBs connected by 2 metre leads. Thats an investment of $30. Also no power point in the bathroom. It was extremely hot and humid. No air con, but fans. Another thing. Any SUV can’t be parked in the garage area, only sedans and station wagons. The roof is too low. Apart from these things, a good little albeit aged, apartment. But please fix up the power issues.

Perfectly situated with access to shopping, beaches and restaurants. We were unhappy with the cleanliness, first day i had to purchase mold cleaner to clean the shower. Glass doors were filthy, bedding had stains. Possibly bed bugs, as two of us experienced bites while sleeping. No air-conditioning. Property has potential if cared for. Great undercover parking and lovely pool.

Property is basically as advertised on website however didn’t seem to have been cleaned since last visitors and was missing some kitchen essentials to make stay a 5 star experience. Disappointing for the premium paid to stay at this time of year.
