This hotel is a true oasis. Once inside you feel transported into a different world. The smell of jasmine, the beautiful pool, the lovely staff all make this a truly exceptional place to stay and relax. The manager, Soner, is possibly the most genuinely positive and friendly person I’ve ever met. If you are going to Selcuk then stay here.

This is a beautiful property with a wonderful staff! My wife and I booked a night stay here last minute after a day of touring Ephesus and we could not have been happier. The room was lovely. The pool was excellent and refreshing. Finally, breakfast was outstanding!

Akanthus Hotel Ephesus is amazing! Our room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great! Free coffee, tea, and cake available around the clock. The pool was perfect. Take the time to get to know the owners, you won’t regret it! They were very friendly and fun to talk to, and they made great suggestions for how to spend our time in the area. Our stay was absolutely perfect!

A little oasis behind a big wooden door - surrounded by ancient sites. After a hot day hiking and inspecting Roman and Byzantine sites, it was glorious to retreat to Akanthus. We loved this hotel and its pool, relaxing chairs overlooking the valley, and our room with a view. If we could snap our fingers, we’d be back.

We chose this hotel because the pool area looked great and the rooms looked comfortable. Both lived up to our expectations. The hotel is up a very small laneway and a little hard to find, but very well located in Selcuk. Parking is on the street, but there's enough. Check in could not have been easier or more pleasant. Our room was very comfortable, with enough closet space etc. for our clothes, and a very nice bathroom. Breakfast was served on the poolside patio or in a modest dining room. The pool was terrific with views out over the surrounding countryside. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is designed and run by the owners , a most beautiful welcoming stay. It feels like a home with coffee tea and cakes available throughout the day, sitting by the poolside enjoying a cup of tea was delightful. The room is tastefully furnished with all amenities to meet daily needs. Breakfast has a good spread of fresh olives , tomatoes , greens , cold cuts , breads and pastries and eggs cooked to order. Location is very good , near the museum and restaurants . Will stay again in Akanthus hotel if I return to Ephesus .

Beautiful gem of a hotel. Management and staff were friendly and helpful. Location very convenient. Lovely patio and pool. Room was spectacular. Coffee making in room but always coffee or tea plus cake downstairs. TV had English news plus Netflix. Best hotel of our month long trip.

Hotel Akanthus was wonderful. It's in a great location from which you can easily reach any of the main tourist attractions in Selcuk. The hotel itself is at the end of a quiet street, and my room was immaculate. R=The staff was friendly and eager to support me, and the breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was our best accomodation while we were in Turkey. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel itself was nicely appointed throughout and very clean. Would highly recommend them. A five star operation for sure!

I really, really enjoyed my stay at Akanthus Hotel. The owner and all members of the staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. They are very attentive to guests and offer information about restaurants and nearby activities. The grounds were small but very comfortable and beautiful. There is a great pool in the garden, surrounded by flowers and plants. An oasis. My room on the second floor was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast was great. The hotel offers cake and tea/coffee throughout the day and evening, as well. This is a fine hotel near Ephesus. I highly recommend it.

娘と２泊宿泊いたしました。清潔感があふれ、ホテルのあちらこちらにセンスの良い調度品が置かれた素敵なホテルでした。当日は午前中にセルチュクついてしまいましたが、早めにチャックイン＆荷物を預かって下さりとても助かりました。スタッフの方もとてもフレンドリーで、日本の文化に興味がおありとのことで娘と楽しく話（英語）をしていました。朝食もおいしく、キッチンには焼き菓子とお茶がいつでもいただけてうれしかったです。楽しい旅をありがとうございました！

In one word this place is absolutely wonderful, if you are visiting Ephesus , this stay is a must . Spacious bedroom, comfortable bedding , spot less clean everywhere you look . The grounds are beautifully decorated and just beautiful combination of Turkish design and modern look. The breakfast was best we had in Turkey , off the chart .staff friendly , owner is welcoming and friendly . Only thing was we only stayed one night , wish we could stay longer . An absolute Gem.

Very nice, very clean hotel. Staff is nice and will help you organize activities. Breakfast is great, also they always have cake available as a snack. Area is quiet though, beach is about 10 minutes away. Kusadaci about 25 minutes is very vibrant

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was very soft. The room was extremely clean. Very close to restaurants and shops. Very close to the Bus Station, Taxi Stands, and ATMs. I did take a cab to Ephesus because the walk was a little long - but I didn't mind. I opted to stay an extra night and the staff was extremely accommodating to my request.

Great stay at Akanthus. The owner is super nice. The rooms are big and clean. Right in the middle on Selçuk. We rook a guided tour arranged by the hotel with Apasas travel ( ask for Gùl as a guide) well worth it. So great little hotel perfect to explore Ephesus.

What an extraordinary boutique hotel! I wished I could’ve stayed longer. The setting, on a hill overlooking the valley is perfect, and the short walk into the old town center is easy. You were surrounded by history, but the hotel itself, the pool, and rooms are modern and extremely comfortable. Close attention is paid to every design element and everything is just beautiful. Also, the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend!!

The hotel is designed and run by the owners , a most beautiful welcoming stay. It feels like a home with coffee tea and cakes available throughout the day, sitting by the poolside enjoying a cup of tea was delightful. The room is tastefully furnished with all amenities to meet daily needs. Breakfast has a good spread of fresh olives , tomatoes , greens , cold cuts , breads and pastries and eggs cooked to order. Location is very good , near the museum and restaurants . Will stay again in Akanthus hotel if I return to Ephesus .

Beautiful gem of a hotel. Management and staff were friendly and helpful. Location very convenient. Lovely patio and pool. Room was spectacular. Coffee making in room but always coffee or tea plus cake downstairs. TV had English news plus Netflix. Best hotel of our month long trip.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Muharrem was the kindest host who took care of all our needs. He arranged airport transfers, made recommendations and reservations at two excellent restaurants both about 4-5 minute walks from the hotel and engaged the most knowledgeable guide for a whole day of touring the Ephesus historical site. The hotel is quiet and comforting with soft music playing in the background and complimentary cake and coffee/tea available all day. The room was spotless and the property lovingly displays rugs and artifacts. The breakfast is excellent with eggs cooked perfectly as you choose and fresh fruit, breads and jams and cheeses. Every staff member was professional, helpful and smiling. Watching the sunset from the pool deck with a cup of Turkish tea was totally relaxing after a day of touring. We were so sad that our schedule did not permit an extension of a couple more days.

We had an excellent stay at this charming boutique hotel in Selcuk and we are glad we chose this hotel to base our visit to Ephesus and Pammukale. A wonderful breakfast buffet fueled our start every morning, and the complimentary coffee and cake was the perfect welcome back from our tours!! The staff were so nice and friendly and made excellent dining recommendations that we enjoyed very much. Absolutely recommend this hotel to any discerning traveler who is looking for a top notch experience.

What a sweet little place - it was pouring rain when we arrived but the staff was helpful and cheerful - grabbing our wet bags out of the car and showing us where to park in the rain. They made us feel so welcome without hovering - I can highly recommend this place.

Great stay at Akanthus. The owner is super nice. The rooms are big and clean. Right in the middle on Selçuk. We rook a guided tour arranged by the hotel with Apasas travel ( ask for Gùl as a guide) well worth it. So great little hotel perfect to explore Ephesus.

Hotel Akanthus was wonderful. It's in a great location from which you can easily reach any of the main tourist attractions in Selcuk. The hotel itself is at the end of a quiet street, and my room was immaculate. R=The staff was friendly and eager to support me, and the breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!

We chose this hotel because the pool area looked great and the rooms looked comfortable. Both lived up to our expectations. The hotel is up a very small laneway and a little hard to find, but very well located in Selcuk. Parking is on the street, but there's enough. Check in could not have been easier or more pleasant. Our room was very comfortable, with enough closet space etc. for our clothes, and a very nice bathroom. Breakfast was served on the poolside patio or in a modest dining room. The pool was terrific with views out over the surrounding countryside. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely lovely boutique hotel, designed and run with exquisite attention to detail. Beautiful outdoor courtyard with spa-like vibe and decor celebrating the local culture including ancient artifacts procured from the site during construction. The hotel manager and architect were present and incredibly hospitable and helpful with local suggestions during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Only complaint I can think of is the coffee was weak. An espresso machine would be a nice addition.

This is a beautiful property with a wonderful staff! My wife and I booked a night stay here last minute after a day of touring Ephesus and we could not have been happier. The room was lovely. The pool was excellent and refreshing. Finally, breakfast was outstanding!

Absolutely wonderful hotel, a few minutes away from the ruins at Ephesus and Temple of Artemis. We had to leave before breakfast but the staff still got us tea and some breakfast cakes. They were super friendly and made a great reservation for us at a nearby restaurant. We will definitely go back.

Very nice, very clean hotel. Staff is nice and will help you organize activities. Breakfast is great, also they always have cake available as a snack. Area is quiet though, beach is about 10 minutes away. Kusadaci about 25 minutes is very vibrant

Our stay at Akanthus couldn’t have been better. Our room was bright and airy and had a beautiful view, breakfast was delicious in the morning, and the pool was just amazing. More importantly though, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Efes ziyaretimizde 1 gece konakladık. Güleryüzle karşılandık, gün boyu ücretsiz devam eden taze demlenmiş kahve, çay ve kek ikramlarına bayıldık. Odalar çok ferah, yatak ve yastıklar müthiş rahat, temiz, ev gibi içiniz rahat ediyor. Buzdolabında yeteri kadar su ve bisküvi var. Ayrıca kettle, kahve ve birçok poşet çay türü var. Odada kasa, her türlü banyo malzemesi, kaliteli şampuanlar, havlu, bornoz ne ararsanız var. Havuzu çok keyifli, bahçesi sıcacık. Bütün personel çok sıcakkanlı. Kahvaltılarına hayran kaldım, ayrıca kahvaltıda görevli tüm personel güleryüzlü ve her an yardımcı oldular. Efes'e, yemek mekanlarına, devlet hastanesine, eczanelere çok yakın.
