Hotel Mas Bosch was wonderful. We stayed for two nights and loved staying out of town in the quiet. The view over the countryside was stunning. The hotel is a tastefully restored (and modernized) old stone country estate and it feels like you are stepping back in time when you first walk in - its stunning. The rooms are very modern, the beds are comfortable and the pool is fantastic (what a view!). The staff were great. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent. We had a magical time here and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality, quiet getaway.

Fabulous property - beautiful renovation and amazing spaces. Our room had a lovely terrace and we heard so many birds - it felt very special. The Reception lady was fantastic - check in was smooth and on check out she appreciated the issues we’d had. Very difficult access to property in sports car - Google maps sends you via the polo club, this is not the main way in. However the main way in is an 2-3 km long gravel road with potholes. Breakfast service was poor - no idea of a la carte options. Girl seemed disinterested. Evening menu was limited. First night the food was lovely and beautifully cooked. Perfect steak and fish dishes. Second night (when a large, noisy group were in the bar) the service was very poor and the food was inedible. We skipped the dessert, having felt unwell after the mains which we’d hardly eaten. On the second night, the large group continued drinking in the bar whilst their children ran riot in the building. The lovely stone surfaces meant that the noise echoed around the building. Thankfully they finally went to bed at around 11 pm. We were overcharged on our bill but the receptionist accepted our version of the costs and refunded us the cost of the second night’s meal. This could be an amazing place to stay. It is absolutely fabulous and in a perfect location for exploring Figueres. However the poor access and service during meals left a lot to be desired.
