English During my stay, the room’s door handle and lock malfunctioned, leaving me unable to exit for over 30 minutes. This was not a key issue; staff could not open the door by normal means and had to remove part of the lock from outside. The room lacked air conditioning, making the situation uncomfortable. I was also concerned about how a guest could exit in an emergency. After this incident, I did not feel comfortable staying and moved to another hotel, which also disrupted my plans that evening. I hope the hotel inspects its doors and locking systems and reviews emergency procedures to prevent this from happening again. The Albergue was comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful. One thing that was annoying was the bracket to hold up the shower head was broken. So could not stand under the shower.
