Conscious Hotel Westerpark

Ein Superhotel mit einem sehr schönen Zimmer, gutem vegetarischem Frühstück und einer schönen Lage direkt am Westerpark. Das Zentrum Amsterdams war zu Fuß in ca. 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Kleine Abstriche gibt es im Zimmer für den nicht vorhandenen Schrank. Es gab nur einige Kleiderbügel die an einer Stange zwischen 2 Balken montiert war. Es gibt keine Abstellplätze für Autos. Durch eine Veranstaltung konnte das Hotel auch nicht zu Be- und Entladen erreicht werden, sodass wir unser Gepäck vom ca. 500 m entfernten Parkhaus zum Hotel transportieren mussten. Die Parkgebühren waren mit € 36,00/Tag auch sehr hoch. Aber es gibt sonst keine andere Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe und falsch parkende Autos werden sofort abgeschleppt. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Unserer Bitte nach einem zweiten Sessel für unser Zimmer wurde am Folgetag entsprochen. Check-In und -Out wurden zügig elektronisch durchgeführt. Das Hotel ist absolut weiterzuempfehlen!

This was a modernized older building with a lot of character. On arriving early morning, there happened to be a room opened which was a nice plus and an opportunity for a short nap before venturing out. The room was clean and bright with big windows that could open, large draperies to block out light and welcoming waters, chocolate and a few snacks. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The attached bar/ restaurant was either a la carte or buffet and the food good. There was outdoor seating. The park was wonderful to walk through on our way to various destinations. We happened to arrive on Liberation Day which is a huge holiday. It was very festive. We opted for a room in the rear of the building which was quiet and looked onto a beautiful, quieter part of the park. We enjoyed the walk (20 min) to the Central Station) where several of our tours began. It followed a pedestrian/ bike only street. The walk to Dam Square was a bit longer, but definitely doable. Getting an Uber here was very easy, close and reasonable to either of these areas. The manager, Christina, was on sight and very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great, quiet location. Loved the bike rentals right at the hotel. Spacious & comfortable room with AC. Close to public transport as well. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice to have snack & beverage options in the lobby.

Clean bright spacious room. Staff always relaxed and friendly. Bike rental on site, great coffee, great breakfast. Easily walkable distance from town.

What a great hotel - in a nice park setting with an easy walk to wherever you may want to visit. The on-site dining facilities and bar are an added bonus. Nice size rooms, very clean and all the staff were great.

I had a great stay at Conscious Hotel Westerpark in Amsterdam. The hotel is located in a park, just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city center but still within 10 minute walking distance to the hip Jardaan neighborhood, Anne Frank Museum and then from there to all the other sights within the canal district. It’s also just 5 minutes away from bus/tram stop to get you to and from airport and Amsterdam Central train station. The room is spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable and has a contemporary minimalist deco which I really like. I went to Belgium by train and only needed my backpack for 2 days and they let me store my suitcase for free, which I really appreciated it. And the park where the hotel is located has several restaurants and breweries and a movie theatre if you want some night activities that are close by. All and all I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Trevlig personal. Ett härligt område, mitt i en park. Städningen av rummet är bland det sämsta vi upplevt. Damtussar under sängen, klädhyllor väldigt dammiga och ingen dammsugning trots påpekande. Duschrummet hade vattenskador i taket och i viss mån längs väggarna. Annars ganska minimalistiskt och funktionellt rum.

Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was wonderful and the young staff were very helpful and friendly. Very convenient location to shops, restaurants and markets. We definitely will come back for a longer visit.

It was pretty good about all of things. But the cleaning staff does not clean some points. And I couldn’t get a new towel sometimes. Other than that it was very good to stay.

Beautifully set in Westerpark, this clean and quiet hotel is a convenient base from which to explore Amsterdam. Many restaurants nearby. Bus/ tram stops around the park make it easy to travel the city; however the area is also quite walkable to the city center. A relaxing place to enjoy long summer evenings outdoors after a busy day.

We stayed here for 9 nights this month. One of the main deciding factors for this property was having breakfast included - it was very inexpensive to add when booking with Expedia. If you don’t include it with your booking it’s 19 euros per person daily which is absurd. No meat is served but there are eggs (fried, scrambled, boiled) and plenty of cheese options. We liked the spread, everything was fresh and tasted good. Breads, croissants, vegetables, etc. The place itself looks new and seems to be in great condition. Not a huge fan of how many doors there are between the elevators and rooms. Can be difficult if you have mobility issues. The staff were very helpful and kind. Our first couple of nights, Sunday and Monday, there was so much noise outside I could hardly sleep. Because it’s located in a park, the good weather brought out a ton of people who were chilling and partying in the park until 1-2am. I read about noise complaints in other reviews having to do with the club across the street but this wasn’t from that. The next day I mentioned it and they offered earplugs and a fan for white noise (I requested the fan) and also gave us brownies. Beds comfy and made daily, fresh towels. Floors swept daily. My only cleanliness complaint is dusty shelves in the bathroom. Overall we loved our trip and were glad we stayed here outside of the city centre because the rush and touristy aspect of that area is not our vibe. It was very easy to walk down to Centraal station.

Great hotel, in an accessible location. Helpful staff. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. Very quite. Weird that there were no rugs/carpeting in the hotel rooms. Made the room feel 'colder' than it was and not as cozy.

Kein Kühlschrank in den Hotelzimmern! Keine Minibar! Keine Kaffeemaschine! Das sind für mich Grundausstattung und gehören immer dazu! Vor allem der Kühlschrank war sehr lästig, da man keine gekühlten Getränke im Hotelzimmer trinken konnte und jedes Mal an die Rezeption muss, um etwas kühles zu haben. Das ist eine sehr lästige Angelegenheit!

This club is open until 3.30am on Thursday and 5am on other nights. As you would imagine, the noise travels from the club to the hotel making a decent night’s sleep next to impossible. Not just the music/bass but the crowds outside laughing and cheering. You would think this important detail would be mentioned by the hotel on its website, or they would by default provide earplugs in each room (they provide things like free crisps, ear protection perhaps not hip enough?). This is a hotel where you check yourself in. I was unable to find a staff member to complain to, and there are no in-room phones. The corporate phone number on the website did not pick up. All in I can’t shake the feeling that this is a hotel trying far too hard to be hip and cool, and forgetting the most basic elements of how to be a hotel. I have applied to my credit card company for a Section 75 refund. You can see the club on these photos. There are a crazy number of hotels in Amsterdam, I will avoid this one in the future.

The hotel was incredibly nice, and the room was large with a nice view of the park. The staff at the hotel were incredibly nice and took the time to chat. I also got a welcome drink. I would highly recommend the hotel to others.

The reservation lady at concious hotel located at Westerpark is extremely rude, hanged up the phone on me and more, extremely unproffesional. Full if attitude. Not expercienced ever in 22 years of business travel. Will never ever stay or let me employees stay at this hotel.

The Conscious Hotel Westerpark was very nice … the room was clean and spacious. It was nice to have the water if water and snacks upon arrival. My only two complaints are: I was not fond of the self-checkin process and at breakfast … they never seemed to be able to get my hot drink order to me … the staff in the dining area seemed very slow and disorganized.

Staff are friendly, hotel is clean and safe. Easy access to public transport and uber. Located in a beautiful park. Plenty of food places within a reasonable proximity.

Hotel is beautifully situated in a lovely park. Staff could not be nicer. Note that this hotel is located away from the center of the city, so do take that into consideration when making travel plans. Otherwise, great value and lovely staff help make it special.

Conscious Hotel location is just amazing, it is situated in the heart of Westerpark. To be able to walk right into the park is amazing. Dam square and main attractions within a 40 minute walk but don't let that discourage you, because it is a beautiful walk and you wouldn't even notice it. Overall, the hotel is awesome

I like the eco friendly nature of the hotel. The hotel is only a 20 minute walk from the center of town. Transit was also nearby.

Lovely setting in a (mainly) very quiet park. It was nice to be away from traffic noise etc - lovely building too. Walkable to Amsterdam city centre.

A equipe de funcionários foi muito cordeal e sempre nos ajudava quando possível. O welcome drink e a possibilidade de pegar outros drinks no bar foi um diferencial. O checkin foi rápido e sem muitas burocracias. Bom café da manhã. A parte das frutas poderia ser melhor trabalhada. Ficamos por 7 dias no hotel e a cada dia parecia que a quantidade e a variedade de frutas ia diminuindo, no nosso último dia praticamente não tinha mais frutas na hora que descemos pro café. O quarto tem um ótimo tamanho, juntamente com o banheiro. A distância do hotel ao centro de AMS não é das melhores. Era necessário caminhar bastante mesmo que você fosse usar o onibus para se deslocar. Ele fica dentro de um parque então é ideal para pessoas que acordam e já querem fazer uma corrida e caminhada.

The hotel was really clean, the staff were really helpful but I was disappointed that I wasn't able to get almond milk or soya milk in the restaurant, considering it is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant.

Fint läge i ändan av parken med flera restauranger i närheten om man inte vill äta vegetariskt som är det enda hotellet erbjuder. Inte helt genomtänkt gällande miljötänket de marknadsför sig på. Några gånger varje natt startade aircondition plötsligt för fullt. I svenska mått en mycket modest frukostbuffe. Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal i receptionen
