Dicht bij het centrum, behulpzaam personeel en een heerlijk ontbijt. Nette kamers. Voor mensen die slecht ter bern zijn: er is geen lift. Let op: Kreeg de mogelijkheid om voor 9,50 euro te parkeren op een parkeerplaats (Berkelplein) die helemaal vol stond. Daardoor veel verder moeten parkeren en opnieuw moeten betalen. Een service die geen service blijkt te zijn en dubbele kosten met zich mee brengt. Dat was jammer.

Hotel Janssen is a great place to stay. Small B&B style friendly hotel with a fantastic continental breakfast and right next to everything and everywhere you want to go. Nice size rooms that are very clean and comfortable and a nice lobby for relaxing at night with a beer or wine and snack. Highly recommend if you are staying in Valkenburg.

Excellent location - just steps from the centrum. Quaint little boutique hotel. Room was well appointed. Nice to have coffee/tea service available in lobby 24/7. Staaf were very accommodating and helpful. Overall a great place to stay in Valkenburg.

Wij verbleven tss Kerstdag en Nieuwjaar met ons gezin (2V,3K) in dit hotel. Het was kleinschalig, netjes, gezellig, en we werden goed ontvangen. De kamer was wel aan de kleine kant, en als je enkele dagen blijft dan misten we wel een kast. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte waar je rustig iets kan lezen, iets drinken, een spelletje kan spelen,...is dan weer een echte meerwaarde. Het ontbijt is ronduit schitterend: geserveerd aan tafel en mogelijkheid om extra's te kiezen. We vinden dit verblijf zeker een aanrader!

Fantastisch hotel. In centrum gelegen, tegenover kasteelruine. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk ontbijt. Knus en gezellig is de huiskamer en de koffie en thee is gratis, met een koek of wafel. Waar vind je dat nog? Kortom echt een aanrader.

Super Lage, direkt am Eingang der Fußgängerzone. Das Nebengebäude, in dem wir untergebracht waren, ist ein absoluter Altbau mit schlecht schließenden Türen und Fenstern, kleinem Bad, man hörte alle Nachbarn und die Treppen sind extrem steil mit kurzen Stufen. Toll war das Personal und, dass es Kaffee, Tee und Obst kostenlos gab.

Fantastiskt hotell med vackert och bekvämt rum. Personalen var hjälpsam och trevlig med allt från tips till parkering och take away muggar när vi behövde åka tidigt på morgonen. Det ligger hur mycket fina restauranger och mysiga gränder som helst direkt utanför dörren och även om området är livligt om kvällarna så hörs inget in på rummet. Vi är enormt nöjda och lär bo här igen om vi har vägarna förbi. Kan inte rekommenderas nog!

Fantastiskt hotell med vackert och bekvämt rum. Personalen var hjälpsam och trevlig med allt från tips till parkering och take away muggar när vi behövde åka tidigt på morgonen. Det ligger hur mycket fina restauranger och mysiga gränder som helst direkt utanför dörren och även om området är livligt om kvällarna så hörs inget in på rummet. Vi är enormt nöjda och lär bo här igen om vi har vägarna förbi. Kan inte rekommenderas nog!

Other travellers have clearly overrated this property. First of all, there are no lifts, and the stairs are very steep and very dangerous. A big safety hazard and I definitely not recommended if you have luggage. The room I received was significantly different to the one on pictures. And a bit too compact, not to mention it was on the third floor and even without suitcases, I really had to watch the steps. Reception closes at 8 pm I.e. too early (although thankfully they stayed until longer when I had to check in- but this shouldn’t be needed). Breakfast starts at 8:30 as I was told. I.e. too late. Shower was on the weaker side. Really not much good to say.

Reception closes at 8 pm I.e. too early (although thankfully they stayed until longer when I had to check in- but this shouldn’t be needed). Breakfast starts at 8:30 as I was told. I.e. too late. Shower was on the weaker side. Really not much good to say.

Excellent location - just steps from the centrum. Quaint little boutique hotel. Room was well appointed. Nice to have coffee/tea service available in lobby 24/7. Staaf were very accommodating and helpful. Overall a great place to stay in Valkenburg.

Super Lage, direkt am Eingang der Fußgängerzone. Das Nebengebäude, in dem wir untergebracht waren, ist ein absoluter Altbau mit schlecht schließenden Türen und Fenstern, kleinem Bad, man hörte alle Nachbarn und die Treppen sind extrem steil mit kurzen Stufen. Toll war das Personal und, dass es Kaffee, Tee und Obst kostenlos gab.

Wij verbleven tss Kerstdag en Nieuwjaar met ons gezin (2V,3K) in dit hotel. Het was kleinschalig, netjes, gezellig, en we werden goed ontvangen. De kamer was wel aan de kleine kant, en als je enkele dagen blijft dan misten we wel een kast. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte waar je rustig iets kan lezen, iets drinken, een spelletje kan spelen,...is dan weer een echte meerwaarde. Het ontbijt is ronduit schitterend: geserveerd aan tafel en mogelijkheid om extra's te kiezen. We vinden dit verblijf zeker een aanrader!

Helaas was de mevrouw die het ontbijt serveerde erg snel op dr teentjes getrapt . Ons ontvangst daarintegen (door iemand anders de avond ervoor) was echt uitstekend!

Unfortunately the check in experience was dreadful because I was not informed about how the parking arrangements worked. It is an arrangement with a local public car park. The 15 euros a day they quote and charged me was very much more than it would have cost to just pay in the machines at the car park but there is no mention of this on the hotel website or in the messages they send trying to get you to sign up for things before you arrive. There is no lift and the stairs are dreadful. Fortunately for a person of 77 I am reasonably fit. Breakfast does not start till 8am but has to be booked by 7pm the previous so we never had breakfast. No towels in the room when I arrived but I noticed straight away fortunately because after 9pm there are no staff on site. The only thing I can say in the hotel’s favour is that it is very close to a lot of good restaurants. It is not an experience that I will be repeating!

Das Zimmer war im 2. Stock und wurde durch eine schmale und steile Treppe erreicht. Mit grossem Koffer nicht so leicht. Das Zimmer war sauber und schön. Das Badezimmer klein, aber sauber. Der Haarfön ist eher nur für kurze Haare geeignet (kl. Reisefön). Fernseher hat Störungen, aber irgendwann haben wir doch noch funktionierende Sender gefunden. Beim Empfang gab es Getränke und der Kaffee war sogar gratis!
