The hotel is an updated older hotel. But they did an excellent job, it has a nice modern design, the location is spectacular and so is the view. The problem is the interconnected rooms. As in many older hotels, there's a door between two of the rooms, that you share with complete strangers. That's not really the problem, but the sound insulation is non-existent, so you literally hear every word your neighbors are saying. And if you have people fighting and cursing next door, as we did, it is not a nice experience. One other thing. The parking has a cost. But they worded it in a very misleading way. It says the property has "self-parking available"... which to me it means parking is included, but to them it means you can park your car... with a fee. Unexpected and a little annoying that they word it in such a sneaky way. I'd rather just know from the get go "Parking with an additional cost". But the hotel itself and the location are very good.

The room itself was clean. The refrigerator was extremely tiny. The room was stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner,and body wash. I paid extra for an oceanfront room with a view and it was absolutely horrible. There was nothing but palm trees blocking the view. I could of saved money by booking the partial oceanview room. There was a worker sitting on the roof right outside our room scraping up bird droppings. It made for a very unpleasant experience when we tried to eat lunch on the patio. There is complimentary parking advertised on the TV in the room but the front desk refused to honor it. Also, the wifi is very spotty and does not load things like Netflix and even simple shows on the TV. There is also hidden charges not advertised on the booking page. I expected better from a Marriot property.

Stayed in an ocean view room with a balcony. While sitting out the balcony and enjoying the view our experience was marred by another guest smoking weed on their balcony which must have been close by. The smoke wafted on to our balcony intermittently for over an hour causing us to retreat inside.
