My family and friends went up to Maine for a wedding. So happy we stayed here. Great location between York and Ogunquit. (wedding was at The Union Bluff Hotel) The cabins were very quaint & clean. Property very well maintained. Clean, convenient pool, easy access from all cabins. The pavillion located center of all cabins, was amazing, we all could hang together their, play games, conversation, TV, and fun. Welcomed each morning by the owners, and their big, sweet, mushball baby- River. Will def stay here again!

I stayed with my dog for a weekend and it was perfectly located to quickly get to several beaches, shopping areas in 10 minutes or less. All the staff were friendly and I loved the breakfast each morning - lots of choice and great coffee. I also liked that there's a small trail to walk the dog right behind the little cottages so easy for the first of the day/last of the day walks in your PJs. Loved my rocking chairs on the little porch and the mini fridge. I would stay here again.

Quaint cabins on a wooded plot. Pool railing could use some updates..a bit rickety. Friendly staff, who offered great local intel. My dog was happy that local beaches were dog friendly. Very nice breakfast provided.

The website stated the cabins had been updated. Cabin 6 did not appear to be updated. The interior of the cabin was clean. The bed was extremely hard and not comfortable. The windows were very dirty as were the screens. I did not consider opening the windows for this reason. The air conditioning was satisfactory in terms of cooling but it was very noisy. The front door had holes in the screens so we couldn’t keep the inside door open…this was disappointing since it was a hot summer weekend. It would have been helpful to have a channel guide for the TV for out of state guests. The outside of the cabin was peeling and run down. There was a table and 2 small chairs which I sat on for a while but the peeling paint and dirty windows were quite unappealing. The continental breakfast was fresh and tasty. The owner was pleasant and inviting. The pool looked nice but there were only 3 chairs just outside the pool. We were disappointed but tried to make the best of our stay. I don’t consider myself a hard to please customer but for $250 per night it did not meet our expectations.

When I booked this, I thought I was going to be in Ogunquit. Turns out I wasn't and it was for the best! I have been to Ogunquit numerous times and this was the best accommodation that I have ever had. Peaceful, clean, friendly staff (and dog!). Breakfast is included and there are many places to sit and relax. It felt like home and I am sad that we only had 2 nights. I'll find an excuse to go back!

Staff couldn’t be friendlier. Peaceful property. Clean and well stocked with kitchen items. Swimming pool was great for cooling off. Included breakfast was wonderful, especially when eaten in the lovely central gazebo.

Very cute, clean place to get away for a few days. Staff was very friendly and helpful…including River, the dog 😊 The flower gardens around the property are gorgeous! I will definitely keep this place in mind for future getaways.

Although we were offered AC after we mentioned it was very hot in the room ,it could have been included as an option from the first night. We didn’t realize how close we were to the highway so opening up the windows at night for fresh or cooler air allowed the noise of the steady stream of traffic - which was surprising for this time of year and little restful sleep. The AC probably drowns out the noise of traffic. I was a little surprised that our room was also not made up after the first night. Part of going on vacation is returning to your room with a freshly made bed , replenishing coffee and fresh cups / water glasses. Simple pleasures for the price makes the difference. This was a little disappointing as with the ants that were crawling around . As a beach town , it should be expected that guests need to take multiple showers during the day and may need fresh towels. Most hotels have a sign to either ‘make up the room ‘ or ‘ do not disturb’ . Just very disappointing.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the staff and owners also just wonderful people. It was so clean from outside to inside and very convenient to Short sands and long sands and Oqunquit. I would highly recommend anyone they also are dog friendly.

We booked for the cottage however we stayed in the inn. We stayed on the second floor. The stairs are extremely narrow. The room is beautiful. Very clean and I love the old fashion decor.

Staff couldn’t be friendlier. Peaceful property. Clean and well stocked with kitchen items. Swimming pool was great for cooling off. Included breakfast was wonderful, especially when eaten in the lovely central gazebo.

Very clean property . Owners are super nice and accommodating. Lovely breakfast . This was our second year there and definite will go back again . Oh and we can’t forget River the dog , very friendly . Looked forward to Rivers greeting each morning .

We stayed for 2 nights, the cottage was cozy and clean. The owners were very accommodating. The grounds are beautifully maintained you can tell they love what they do.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the staff and owners also just wonderful people. It was so clean from outside to inside and very convenient to Short sands and long sands and Oqunquit. I would highly recommend anyone they also are dog friendly.

My family and friends went up to Maine for a wedding. So happy we stayed here. Great location between York and Ogunquit. (wedding was at The Union Bluff Hotel) The cabins were very quaint & clean. Property very well maintained. Clean, convenient pool, easy access from all cabins. The pavillion located center of all cabins, was amazing, we all could hang together their, play games, conversation, TV, and fun. Welcomed each morning by the owners, and their big, sweet, mushball baby- River. Will def stay here again!

Although we were offered AC after we mentioned it was very hot in the room ,it could have been included as an option from the first night. We didn’t realize how close we were to the highway so opening up the windows at night for fresh or cooler air allowed the noise of the steady stream of traffic - which was surprising for this time of year and little restful sleep. The AC probably drowns out the noise of traffic. I was a little surprised that our room was also not made up after the first night. Part of going on vacation is returning to your room with a freshly made bed , replenishing coffee and fresh cups / water glasses. Simple pleasures for the price makes the difference. This was a little disappointing as with the ants that were crawling around . As a beach town , it should be expected that guests need to take multiple showers during the day and may need fresh towels. Most hotels have a sign to either ‘make up the room ‘ or ‘ do not disturb’ . Just very disappointing.

I stayed with my dog for a weekend and it was perfectly located to quickly get to several beaches, shopping areas in 10 minutes or less. All the staff were friendly and I loved the breakfast each morning - lots of choice and great coffee. I also liked that there's a small trail to walk the dog right behind the little cottages so easy for the first of the day/last of the day walks in your PJs. Loved my rocking chairs on the little porch and the mini fridge. I would stay here again.

Quaint cabins on a wooded plot. Pool railing could use some updates..a bit rickety. Friendly staff, who offered great local intel. My dog was happy that local beaches were dog friendly. Very nice breakfast provided.

The website stated the cabins had been updated. Cabin 6 did not appear to be updated. The interior of the cabin was clean. The bed was extremely hard and not comfortable. The windows were very dirty as were the screens. I did not consider opening the windows for this reason. The air conditioning was satisfactory in terms of cooling but it was very noisy. The front door had holes in the screens so we couldn’t keep the inside door open…this was disappointing since it was a hot summer weekend. It would have been helpful to have a channel guide for the TV for out of state guests. The outside of the cabin was peeling and run down. There was a table and 2 small chairs which I sat on for a while but the peeling paint and dirty windows were quite unappealing. The continental breakfast was fresh and tasty. The owner was pleasant and inviting. The pool looked nice but there were only 3 chairs just outside the pool. We were disappointed but tried to make the best of our stay. I don’t consider myself a hard to please customer but for $250 per night it did not meet our expectations.

When I booked this, I thought I was going to be in Ogunquit. Turns out I wasn't and it was for the best! I have been to Ogunquit numerous times and this was the best accommodation that I have ever had. Peaceful, clean, friendly staff (and dog!). Breakfast is included and there are many places to sit and relax. It felt like home and I am sad that we only had 2 nights. I'll find an excuse to go back!

The property was perfect for our stay! My little Rex loved the dog trail and the owner was very welcoming. The muffins were yummy! I would definitely stay here again and just might as I’m thinking of planning another trip to Maine soon! Lovely place and close to everything.
