Great place to sleep and dog friendly

Great location and very pet friendly. Slightly rough neighborhood but plenty of open green space to walk the dog. Room clean, with new fixtures in the bathroom.AC broken, big puddle on floor. They cleaned it up right away. Common area hallway carpet super filthy, needs replacing. Obvious mechanical vibration and noise in room, noticeable through the floors and bed, made it hard to sleep. They are renting rooms to sketchy locals. Receptionist very nice. Price is right.

The room and staff were wonderful. The common grounds need major improvement. The hall carpets need to be replaced… they are stained and smell horrible But I want to emphasize the support staff was wonderful and the room exceeded our expectations

I love staying at motel 6 they are family friendly and also pet friendly the rooms are nice and clean

The property was in total disrepair the exterior locks to allow guest in or busted out when you walk up and down the stairs your hands stick to the handrails they were so filthy their staff there but they make no attempt to do anything to serve you they just sit on a chair and play with their cell phones

The front desk lady was very helpful and sweet. The rooms were okay but I was there just to sleep and shower. The walls are thin, I could hear everything. I had the tv up loud and my fan going. My doggy loves traveling with me.

First off when I got there and walked in the place had an off putting smell and no elevator so of have a lot of luggage your screwed. As walking to my room a guess had their door open sniffing some kind of drug off a plate. It’s a non smoking motel but smelt like Mary Jane on second floor. There was a random fan on the floor blowing at the wall. You looked up on the 2nd floor and the ceiling tiles were clearly ruined from water damage. I walk into my room and the bureau only had 2 of the 4 drawers and was falling apart. The lamp shade was on the ground because the lamp was broken. My bed frame was on the ground . There was cracks in my ceiling like big ones. Someone put a cigarette or something out on the bathroom wall you could see the black burn spot on the wall. I couldn’t get any rest bc I felt like my U-Haul was going to get broken into also the other guess had people coming in and out of the parking lot blaring horns and siting around with their loud exhaust( no catalytic converter loud). I know it’s a cheap stay but this is by far the worse motel 6 I’ve ever stayed at. It was more like a crack house motel. The only good thing about the place was it had a nice tv and free cable. If I hadn’t already paid them and was only staying for 2 nights and visiting my wife at the military institution I would have left. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Background or east/west wings don't make enter doors keycard from parking lot.

Stayed on the second floor room 205. Room was very dirty and the hotel smelled horrible. The beds was clean but floors and furniture in room was horrible. Tv would not change channel and there was no remote. Couldn’t shower because the water was verily warm. Outside room the carpet was terribly stained with something and hallway smell awful. I do have pictures of the room. The front desk ladies were very nice. Reserved for two nights but only stayed one, and wouldn’t have stayed that night if I hadn’t got there late and just drove 8 hours.

Very clean rooms, comfortable and cozy, my dad loved it.

The property was dirty, mattress had blood and urine stains, mice traps in the room, broken furniture…

Found blood stains on my bedsheets and lots of female hair on the pillows.. we walked out that hotel room the same night.

Not in a good area at all. The staff are on drugs and nodding off on the phones. They have dirty wash clothes and towels. The rooms rink of smoke and dust and roaches. My daughter got bit with a bed bug and luckily we didn’t get any in our clothes. The microwaves are nasty. The beds have old sheets and stains on them to where they never clean the beds it self, with brown stains on them.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The cleanliness of the property is an 9/10

It was not worth the money we spent. When you start serving coffee only at 6am, why are you going to mop the floors and stairs at 5:45am?? The room was dirty, sheets were scratchy, and there were people hanging out all over the outside of the building. Also, when we asked where to park.. the desk person told us make sure we were out in front of the building because that was where the cameras were.

No key card to get into the room, broken ac unit, and tv was broken. Stayed at another hotel after getting a refund but the funds have still not been received into my account.

My bathtub didn’t work right

Toilet handle was broken, so the toilet did not flush. The main light switch was not functional. The unit was clean. The heater was rather loud.

This is in a really sketchy area. Loys of activity late night on a weeknight. Was very nervouse about parking my car put of my sight. Walls are super thin, had to listen to a couple fighting about wanting to sleep woth someone they met earlier. And threatening to beat each other up. So that was fun..... To be clear they werent yelling they were juat talking slightly loudly. I could hesr every word as if they were in the bed next to me.

Front desk was very nice and did a great job of checking us in. Hotel is very dated and needs upgrade. However, someone that was also staying there had their car parked outside our window and the alarm went off all night long. They would reset and 3 minutes later it would go off again. This went on for over an hour. Needless to say, we got no sleep.

No servicing of the room until asked, no shampoo available (but they had conditioner!). Moderately clean room, but facilities are old/worn. A/C unit leaks onto floor, loud guests yelling all night. And the 2:40 am room phone ringing was an unwelcome surprise. Front desk staff was nice and friendly.

We stayed 5 nights. Beds are comfortable, rooms were clean. Shower was ok. No housekeeping for five days.wish they coild vacuum a d change towels at least once.other than that we were ok.no problems.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, quiet room. Nothing fancy, pretty basic room. Suited us ok for the one night we stayed.

Want everyone to know I do not blame the girl working. I don’t think she was ever properly trained. We booked this for my father as we just moved here and don’t have our furniture still. My dad waited over an hour because the overnight front desk woman had zero idea how to do pretty much everything. Again, I don’t think it’s a reflection of her. My dad finally got a room, 122. Then he calls me and says someone was already in that room and when he opened the door, a dog ran at him. So she put him in 124. He slept and at 6:30 am the manager comes banging on his door. He then opens the door to my dads room and starts shouting that he's not in the system. My dad explains the situation and the manager STILL told him to pack up and get out. I would never ever spend your money here and we’re absolutely floored by how terrible this place is run.

Quiet, comfortable accommodations right off the interstate. Staff was welcoming and helpful.

I arrived and waited to get my room key, but the owner couldn’t spare even 5–10 minutes to help me, he was too busy chatting with a contractor. It was unprofessional and rude. Thankfully, one of the staff members rushed to clock in just to assist me. She was kind, helpful, and even apologized for the delay. She was the only saving grace in an otherwise frustrating check-in experience.

The manager was not a nice man. Apparently he doesn’t offer rooms on the first floor to people that are staying more than one night. I explained that I had a disability wasn’t able to do stairs after going back-and-forth 15 minutes he finally gave me the room on the first floor. I explained to him how can he expect people to be on second floor with no elevator in building. Also not aloud to have extra towels or pillows I was told no.

Room had no towels and someone's wash cloth was left in the shower. Seemed to be a lot of unwanted guests; but management seem to have everything under control. Check in was done with great customer service. Would stay again

I arrived about 10pm pretty exhausted. The front desk person was kind enough to roll my duffle bag to my room, as I was carrying other stuff on my walker (and kind of struggling to do so). She went way above and beyond, and I really appreciated her help.

When I arrived there was no one at the front desk. I waited over 10 minutes. I tried calling the hotel and the phone at the front desk rang many times. No one ever came to answer it. This made me uneasy and the area seemed sketchy, so I left a found a better place to stay.

Staff was excellent. Price was fair.

Conveniently close to I 95

Although a convenient location right off the highway it’s in a pretty sketchy area. Room was decently cleaned but freezer in fridge was completely blocked with ice and the shower head didn’t work at all. Heat unit is super loud but the woman at reception was friendly

Good location near 95.Close to Petersburg Battle Field ,both East and West fronts .Front desk helpful and polite .Room big and clean .It was basic but beds restful and clean. Felt safe ,although surrounding location had seen better days. Price was well worth it.

Check-in was super easy. The desk worker was very friendly. I asked for the ground floor. She also brought us extra pillows. It is no frills, but was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet area. We easily found restaurants and shopping. Easy access to 95. Plenty of parking. No breakfast, but fresh coffee. We would stay there again.

If possible to include breakfast 😋

We wanted a clean safe place for the night..no frills..and that is what we got.. place is run down but room clran..no hair dryer, shampoo sample and had to get guy to turn shower on! Desk people were very nice..very close to highways not to eating places

The worst place between eight others on our trip now, scruffy, only Coffee for breakfast, one Socket Out of Order, exaust fan was loud and could Not be switched Off, the heating Stunk Avoid this place!!!

The face and toilet was clogged plus there was no breakfast as advertised. I came downstairs before 7am and the coffee was done so only one brew. Sorry to say but never again at motel6 in peterburg va for me.

Overall the place was fine for the price. The room was clean. Had a small fridge and microwave. It did not have a small coffee maker in the room and for a coffee addict like me that’s important. There was coffee in the lobby after the mgr. came in about 7AM.

I arrived for a Friday night stay having reserved just the night before and not reviewing prior visitor ratings. The property site is stark- no trees, grass, container plants- nothing but asphalt parking surface. The room was equally stark with vinyl composite flooring. I suppose it's easier to maintain than carpet and subsequent spills/stains. The bathroom appeared recently renovated with shower/tub surrounds and vanity. The shower temp, spray height and drain were very good- something I do expect, yet seldom encounter. The fridge & micro were clean and basic, yet sufficient. No coffee maker and no breakfast served so keep this in mind. The bed comfort was adequate, yet the top flat sheet and comforter/spread were bare bones. I usually avoid contact w/bed spreads as the common understanding is that they're not frequently laundered. So that was peeled back before I turned-in for the night leaving only a flat sheet. The AC function was adequate, though I noticed mold in the surrounding wall surface. The nightstand and dresser were not used, but exhibited numerous cigarette/joint burns. All-in-all, I would not stay here again, but the location was super-close (one mile?) from the downtown historic district where the trendy dining and shops are located. If you're on a super-budget or accept a two-star motel for $100/night- you'll be happy here. If you expect anything more, I'd not recommend this property for you/your family.
