My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Maison du Collectionneur! The hotel is small and eclectically designed, filled with beautiful hand-picked art and furnishings. It's very well cared for. The rooms were very nice, but you should know you can't avoid stairs and some rooms are three floors up. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They made us feel like their personal guests and there wasn't anything they weren't willing to do to accommodate us. One afternoon, we took wine out on the patio, and they provided the glassware, ice bucket and opener for us. They also made great recommendations and reservations for dinner. In addition to the beauty of the hotel and the staff, the location was ideal, close to many sites and great restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who loves a cozy, boutique feel. I would love to return here someday.

Wonderful stay in this charming 6-room B&B in Aix-en-Provence’s old town. It is located on a quiet street but is minutes away from all the restaurants and shopping. Beautifully appointed room, lovely breakfast room that looks over a private courtyard. Very friendly and helpful managers/staff. Recommend without hesitation.

I loved this hotel. For one thing, it's in Aix-en-Provence, which can be quite hot, and they have good air conditioning in the rooms, which is crucial. My room was furnished with great originality and had everything I needed, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed breakfast in the garden each morning. And my room was very clean.

This is a boutique hotel--five rooms only--in the pedestrian center of the Mazarin district, just a two-three block walk to the Cours Mirabeau. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms generous, the location perfect, the staff beyond wonderful. Upon arrival, they guided us to the traffic barrier on their block and unloaded and delivered luggage to our rooms. They were immediately available; they made dinner reservations for us; they served a breakfast (as full or small as you chose) in their dining room or lovely garden. When we left, Silvio reclaimed our car from the nearby parking lot and drove it to the front of the hotel, loaded our bags, and gave me meticulous instructions about leaving the maze of narrow streets. I've stayed at the Hotel Sacher in Vienna, my byword for customer service, and this little 5 room hotel outshone them. I'll never stay elsewhere in Aix. Caveat--the five rooms are spread over three floors of a wonderful old building. There is no elevator. We stayed without incident on the first floor; but I doubt we old folks could have managed the climb to the second or third.

Absolute gem of a hotel!! We had the top floor of this boutique hotel right in the centre of town. Museums, shops, restaurants on your doorstep. The team there couldn’t have been lovelier. The room is a maisonette with a view of the gardens below. Charming!! We would highly recommend. We arrived late at 10:30 so make sure u get the code to get in the door as there is no reception that late. Also a very convenient carpark we used across the street for 2 days only €20/day!

LOVED Maison du Collectionneur! Wonderful upscale accommodations in the heart of the city. Exceptional staff - Silvio, Elliott an Lelly were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. Location couldn’t be better with parking for our rental car just two blocks away, shops, restaurants and museums minutes by foot. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Aix. Silvio & the team were incredibly welcoming & helpful - offering advice & ways to improve our time in this beautiful town. Carefully curated with interesting artefacts & artwork made our room even more unique. Breakfast in the quiet courtyard was lovely. Highly recommend ⭐️

We were there 2 couples for one night only and we wish our stay was a little longer. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the hotel is only with 6 rooms but the rooms are really beautiful ( I saw 2 of them), pieces of art everywhere in the hotel. Very clean, very decent and very close to the center ( Cours Mirabeau) where there are lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. The hotel has a very small gaden as wel where we had drinks. Coffe and cakes are available all the time at lobby as a warm welcome. I highly recommend this hotel to everbody❤️

This small home tastefully renovated with some charming bedrooms is a gem. The accommodations were clean, spacious, very comfortable bed and a great location for walking to restaurants, the market and the Cours Mirabeau. The staff was amazing—attentive, friendly and eager to make sumptuous breakfasts ordered the night before (toast with lox and cream cheese, yogurt with granola and fresh fruit) we ate out in the walled garden. One morning one of the staff members even went out to the market to get more lox for my breakfast because I hadn’t ordered in time the day before. We would stay here again without hesitation and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Aix.

Location was great and still quiet and it was a nice property. However we felt it was really overpriced compared to anywhere else we stayed on our trip- not worth the premium at all. We didn’t realise having a bath meant there was no way to shower- at least not for someone over 6ft having to sit in a reduced size bath to try and shower with the small hose in the bath, so just something to keep in mind if you don’t want to have to run a bath every time you want to wash.

The staff was fantastic from start to finish. If you love a unique hotel experience, this is it. Breakfast was fantastic. The top floor suite was comfortable. If you go into this experience with the correct expectations that the hotel is a boutique small hotel then you will not be disappointed. Great location. Hard to find, but also part of the charm.

Ni la habitación ni el hotel valen lo que cobran La bañera especialmente incómoda Nos recibieron excusándose por no poder ofrecer desayuno y contándonos que tenía que marchar y recoger a sus niños Poca profesionalidad, nos cobró por adelantado sin haber visto la habitación y ni siquiera nos tomó los datos del DNI No había recepción 24h, sólo 4 horas por la tarde Creo que cobrando 280 e por noche tendrían que tener mejor servicio No lo recomiendo

Absolute gem of a hotel!! We had the top floor of this boutique hotel right in the centre of town. Museums, shops, restaurants on your doorstep. The team there couldn’t have been lovelier. The property is lovely, a fully renovated 17/18 century house, transformed with great style into a welcoming, comfortable guesthouse. Silvio, the proprietor, was helpful far beyond any normal level, helping with restaurants, car, and luggage. We can’t recommend it too highly.

Wonderful stay in this charming 6-room B&B in Aix-en-Provence’s old town. It is located on a quiet street but is minutes away from all the restaurants and shopping. Beautifully appointed room, lovely breakfast room that looks over a private courtyard. Very friendly and helpful managers/staff. Recommend without hesitation.

The staff was fantastic from start to finish. If you love a unique hotel experience, this is it. Breakfast was fantastic. The top floor suite was comfortable. If you go into this experience with the correct expectations that the hotel is a boutique small hotel then you will not be disappointed. Great location. Hard to find, but also part of the charm.

LOVED Maison du Collectionneur! Wonderful upscale accommodations in the heart of the city. Exceptional staff - Silvio, Elliott an Lelly were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. Location couldn’t be better with parking for our rental car just two blocks away, shops, restaurants and museums minutes by foot. Highly recommend!!

This small home tastefully renovated with some charming bedrooms is a gem. The accommodations were clean, spacious, very comfortable bed and a great location for walking to restaurants, the market and the Cours Mirabeau. The staff was amazing—attentive, friendly and eager to make sumptuous breakfasts ordered the night before (toast with lox and cream cheese, yogurt with granola and fresh fruit) we ate out in the walled garden. One morning one of the staff members even went out to the market to get more lox for my breakfast because I hadn’t ordered in time the day before. We would stay here again without hesitation and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Aix.

I loved this hotel. For one thing, it's in Aix-en-Provence, which can be quite hot, and they have good air conditioning in the rooms, which is crucial. My room was furnished with great originality and had everything I needed, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed breakfast in the garden each morning. And my room was very clean.

We had a great stay! The room was large and very clean and well maintained. Bed was big and fairly comfortable (a little bit too hard for our taste). Location is great. The AC was very efficient and had no problem keeping the room cool during the hot days. On the minus side, there is no elevator and accessing the entrance by car is very tricky. You can only get there if you have a small car since the streets are very narrow. You cannot park on the premises, but there is a close by public parking garage. There was noise early in the mornings coming from somewhere in the building that woke us up.

Wonderful stay at this small place on Aix. Staff were great and gave lots of great advice. Location is right in the center of Aix and walking distance to many attractions. Rooms are small but sufficient for a short stay. It is walking distance from the Aix- Ville train station. Its a twenty minute car ride from Aix-TGV station. We will stay here again on our next visit to Aix!
