Upon check in the woman behind the counter was extremely unfriendly, asked my last name (which is Smith—very common) and no other info such as looking at my ID then gave us the room keys without saying a word. This is seriously concerning especially regarding security to not be checking peoples IDs. I could have been anyone and guessed Smith as it’s so uncommon. Also the room was clean and the bed very comfy but the bathroom floors were gross with black hair on them and mold in the shower.

We checked in 2 hours after check-in time and the room I was assigned was either being used or had not been cleaned when I walked in. I had to go back and get another room. My travel companions found a pair of jeans left in their room. There was a barking dog on the floor nearby. Overall, everything looked sub par in cleanliness. The hotel room tv did not have an ABC channel. Overall, average to poor condition for a Hampton Inn.

I thought overall the property inside and out was good. The tile floor in our bath and entrance area should have been damp mopped and cleaned more thoroughly. I could tell there was dirt in the grooves of the tile. Maybe I am just too particular, but for sanitation it should have appeared cleaner.

I was in town with my elderly mother for her 65th class reunion. I booked a handicap accessible room expecting a roll in shower per the description. However, it was a bathtub with a pull down seat instead. I would also suggest in handicap accessible room that you put a recliner in place of the regular chair as many elderly seniors choose to sleep in recliners because it is too hard to get into a bed.

We had an issue with the wifi, and when I went to the front desk about it, the desk clerk, long dark hair, said it is your last name and room number. I said yes, she asked what room, I told her 133, she pulled it up on her end and said B-e-v-e-r is you last name, I told her, YES, I was aware of that. She said if that did not work then there was nothing she could do for me. She was rude and not helpful. She said I can put in a work order, I asked when that would be done and she said the next day, I looked at her and said, how is that helpful? To which she again responded, there is nothing I can do for you, I am just the front desk clerk. We usually stay at Comfort Suites when we visit our grandaughters in Vincennes, but we really like most Hampton Inns, so we switched for this trip. We will NOT make that mistake again!!! The ladies when we checked out were very nice, and the gentleman doing breakfast was super sweet, talking to everyone and being cheerful, and breakfast items were always readily available. We had two rooms one had a broken bathroom door the other had an air conditioner leaking so badly it was puddled in the floor halfway past the bottom of the bed usually always have a good stay but this time I wouldn’t rate so highly.

We were put in room 208 initially which had a cracked tiles. The manager was very aware of the exisiting condition and continued to book this room. My 2 year old son noticed the broken up tile first, of course. This was concerning seeing as my kids run around a lot and i can only imagine a sliced foot by the tile. The manager was very nice about switching our rooms which was appreciated. I just think precautions should be taken with situations like this. The rooms are very nice. Breakfast is very good! My only disappointment was by 9am, breakfast options were slim. No milk, no eggs. Very different from the previous day, saturday morning. I will stay here again, but maybe will wake up earlier for breakfast!

Everything was wonderful outside of the front desk lady. She wasn't there to help guest. We had to call the hotel to get her to come out of the side room and wait on us. When we arrived she told us there were no vacancies. I went out to the parking lot and was able to make reservations for 2 rooms for my family of 8. On line it showed multiple room available. She acted like we were interrupting her lunch break or something. Hotel was nice, clean and perfect.

Overall it was a nice stay. I travel for work, and spend a lot of nights in hotels in the midwest. This was a clean hotel. It took awhile to find me a room to check into with a reservation. its near a variety of places to eat. and close to shopping if needed.

Overall, nice stay. The breakfast was not the best, disappointed. Oatmeal cold, and boiled eggs looked as if rolled around in someone's floorboard.

Clean. Good air. Prices in main lobby for drinks and snacks were quite high so bring your own. Lines to check on and out were long... there was an event going on nearby but they should have added more than one staff member at front desk. Breakfast was horrible... all of it. Overall, ok place.

friendly staff and clean room on arrival. The only two things that was disappointing was the room did not get serviced and i stayed two nights and the breakfast was tasteless.

Very busy weekend for the hotel yet they were not prepared for the breakfast service. Only 1 employee working the breakfast service (I felt sorry for him as he was doing his best). While he was focusing on trying to replenish the coffee carafes (unsuccessfully as at least 1 type was out at all times) the buffet ran out of eggs and fruit. They needed to have 1 more employee during breakfast to make it run smoothly.

Upon arrival, I noticed the lady at the front desk had no teeth and although she looked clean, her clothing looked less than professional. She was nice and answered any questions I had. She did inform me that the hotel had changed owners and management in June. I had stayed there in April and I knew things were different this time in staffing. When I checked out the next day, again, her attire looked clean, but not professional and to me, it was not appropriate for running the front desk of a hotel. Also, in the room, the bed was placed in an odd place for viewing the TV...it just was very strange.

The facility was exceptionally clean. The staff went out of their way when I had a special request. Pool was wonderful as was the breakfast. Am staying again later this month!

We arrived at 3:00 pm(check in time) but our room was not ready. We had already carried all of our luggage and belongings in. We were told to come back in 30 minutes with no offer to leave our luggage until room was ready. No apologies, no attempts to put us in another room. Then, when we went to bed that night, no remote control in the room. We had 1 towel per person. The hallways and elevators were HOT and muggy. Not very inviting. Will probably not stay here again.

The room was fine and breakfast was good.The shower had some mold and the spray nozzle didn't operate well at all. Also, the bed wasn't made anytime during my 3 day stay.
