Wonderfully located quiet spot around the corner from the main river walkway and centre. Apartment was spacious, modern, comfortable and well equipped. They have a few reserved parking spots in front of their place for an incremental fee which was well worth it. Breakfast buffet was simple but covered the basics nicely. Very helpful proprietor who offered some travel tips and even volunteered to bring up a drying rack for some laundry we did. We used their restaurant a couple of times which was good and very convenient. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Ljubljana is a very charming city!

Wonderful little hotel associated with a restaurant, at the bottom of the hill towards the castle. Very cute and well supplied. Nice little sitting area outside. Was up a few flights of stairs without an elevator, which was fine for us but could be challenging for some.

Comfortable beds, great location, loved the apartment perks - refrigerator, stove, & washer within unit. The futon bed was comfortable - we didn't open it fully but used it as a twin bed and there was an additional king size bed in the unit. Just a heads up, as the hotel explains, there is no lift. The stairs are narrow & steep. Just mentioning in case this is a concern for anyone.

Très bon hôtel propre et bien situé. Seul bémol le parking est dans la rue. On trouve facilement de la place mais faut se lever à 7h pour mettre des pièces.

Appartement très bien équipé et insonorisé, la possibilité de louer une place de parking devant l'etablissement est un plus. Au pied du château et du pont des dragons, l'emplacement est idéal pour les visites. Nous avons pu dîner au restaurant, très bonne cuisine et très bon service, pour un tarif pas excessif. L'ensemble de l'etablissement est à recommander aussi bien pour les appartements, que pour le restaurant.

Die Lage ist perfekt zur Stadterkundung, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Cafés in direkt Nähe. Leider ist das Appartement etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sehr hellhörig. Man sollte bei der Buchung ebenfalls direkt einen Parkplatz mit buchen, da vor Ort das Parken extrem schwierig ist.

An amazing hotel. We booked a duplex room. So spacious, comfortable, clean and well designed. Just beautiful. Very comfy bed in upper area. Full kitchen. Washing machine. Fast wifi. Self checkin was easy. Nice dining downstairs. Easy walk to the main areas (5 min max). Straightforward and easy walk with rolling luggage from the train station (15 min). Close to the castle funicular. Three blocks from grocery stores. Just perfect for us and I could have easily spent more time here. As the hotel mentions, there are stairs to reach the rooms. They are narrow and steep so keep this in mind if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved our accommodations. This was extremely welcoming after 18 hours of traveling with a kid. Everything was extremely clean and well organized. It was nice to have a bed for my husband and I and one for our child. The reasons I rated this a 4 star was because of the restaurant below. We tried to have a drink on a Friday after a busy few days of travel and tours and we were told we could not sit outside unless we ordered food between 7-10 pm. Unfortunately, we unwillingly left and found a different near by location. Our only wish was the hospitality for a dining experience was a bit more welcoming to those who are staying at the location. Another thing you should know is that the front office is only open from 8-12.

Maybe it was because we just got off an overseas flight but the address was unclear when looking from the street. Also the towels were old with a hole in it.

My family of four stayed here and whilst it was a bit cramped it worked well for us. Having a washing machine and good kitchen was awesome. Location is fantastic and its Quiet and warm. If you’ve got heavy bags there’s no lift so be prepared to carry. Thanks for having us!

At this apartment, you enjoy the Most comfortable queen bed plus one sofa queen bed. Full kitchen with dish washer, laundry washer, ceiling standing fridge plus freezer, oven, microwave, tv with YouTube …… I will be back Well done ~ “ Under the Castle “ team, for your thoughtfulness and up standard to international requirements. Just at unit 3, the thin step between kitchen and dinning table is hidden and difficult to be aware of. If , creative amendment to polish it a bit, no doubt is a bonus.

A very nice apartment with everything you need. Great location. Fantastic breakfast and such a beautiful place to spend a few nights. We were very happy. The staff were lovely and it is such an easy walk to everything.

We loved our stay here. The room was spacious and clean. Great shower. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. The only issue was we could not find the building easily. Maybe it was because we just got off an overseas flight but the address was unclear when looking from the street. Also the towels were old with a hole in it.

An amazing hotel. We booked a duplex room. So spacious, comfortable, clean and well designed. Just beautiful. Very comfy bed in upper area. Full kitchen. Washing machine. Fast wifi. Self checkin was easy. Nice dining downstairs. Easy walk to the main areas (5 min max). Straightforward and easy walk with rolling luggage from the train station (15 min). Close to the castle funicular. Three blocks from grocery stores. Just perfect for us and I could have easily spent more time here. As the hotel mentions, there are stairs to reach the rooms. They are narrow and steep so keep this in mind if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderfully located quiet spot around the corner from the main river walkway and centre. Apartment was spacious, modern, comfortable and well equipped. They have a few reserved parking spots in front of their place for an incremental fee which was well worth it. Breakfast buffet was simple but covered the basics nicely. Very helpful proprietor who offered some travel tips and even volunteered to bring up a drying rack for some laundry we did. We used their restaurant a couple of times which was good and very convenient. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Ljubljana is a very charming city!

Wonderful little hotel associated with a restaurant, at the bottom of the hill towards the castle. Very cute and well supplied. Nice little sitting area outside. Was up a few flights of stairs without an elevator, which was fine for us but could be challenging for some.

Appartement très bien équipé et insonorisé, la possibilité de louer une place de parking devant l'etablissement est un plus. Au pied du château et du pont des dragons, l'emplacement est idéal pour les visites. Nous avons pu dîner au restaurant, très bonne cuisine et très bon service, pour un tarif pas excessif. L'ensemble de l'etablissement est à recommander aussi bien pour les appartements, que pour le restaurant.

Die Lage ist perfekt zur Stadterkundung, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Cafés in direkt Nähe. Leider ist das Appartement etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sehr hellhörig. Man sollte bei der Buchung ebenfalls direkt einen Parkplatz mit buchen, da vor Ort das Parken extrem schwierig ist.

We loved our accommodations. This was extremely welcoming after 18 hours of traveling with a kid. Everything was extremely clean and well organized. It was nice to have a bed for my husband and I and one for our child. The reasons I rated this a 4 star was because of the restaurant below. We tried to have a drink on a Friday after a busy few days of travel and tours and we were told we could not sit outside unless we ordered food between 7-10 pm. Unfortunately, we unwillingly left and found a different near by location. Our only wish was the hospitality for a dining experience was a bit more welcoming to those who are staying at the location. Another thing you should know is that the front office is only open from 8-12.

What a hidden treasure! The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Only downside was having to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs, but that is a very minor issue. Check-in was smooth and effortless as details had been well communicated prior to us arriving. We had booked a parking space in advance and that was available for us immediately. All the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating, even when we had a specific need. Breakfast was freshly made with plenty of choice. In addition, the restaurant below was absolutely superb! A special mention for the pizza rolls and the incredible hisna gibanica (cheese/pastry/apple/cinnamon/honey dessert) which sounds like a weird combination but was easily the most delicious thing I had eaten in our entire 3 week trip around the Balkans! Will definitely be recommending this place to friends!
