4th of July weekend stay to enjoy time with family who live in the area. We arrived before the check in time,we called Pat to see if we could check in early or at least park our car so we could go out on our relatives boat. She was very accommodating to our request and let us check in early. Our room was very clean and the queen size bed very comfortable. The best part was not having to find something to do so room service could clean. Room service is at your request. If you needed anything at all, all you had to do was call or text her. We will return again and if your looking for a nice cabin to stay in I highly recommend Birchwood.

We loved our stay at Birchwood in one of their cabins. It was decorated beautiful in Wolf scenery. The owner was very nice. She even made us popcorn and delivered it to our cabin Saturday night. They also have an outside grill you can cook on and a very nice placed to have a bonfire. Lawn chairs were also provided.

When I pulled up and saw the signs ( not that I’m political) on the property I started to cancel, but when I went in the lady (Pat) was very pleasant and friendly. I end up staying and I must say that my stay was wonderful and very relaxing. I loved that the cabin was very clean and equipped with everything I needed. I’m planning on going back real soon.

Directly from the time I reserved the property owner Pat contacted me via text and immediately made us feel welcomed. Upon arrival we met with Pat who was a pleasure. The property was unbelievably clean and also came with a gift. We will definitely be coming back. Well recommended. Thanks Pat Look forward to our next visit.

What a clean and accommodating property!! We weren’t sure what to expect, but my goodness were we blown away. These cabins are super clean and provide you everything you may need to enjoy your stay, including some extras like a gift for staying there and fresh popped popcorn!! You will not regret booking if you need to stay in the Cadillac area!! Even if you do not share the same “political passions” as the owner, you will be doing yourself a disservice if you book elsewhere!!

I stayed here for a hunting trip with family. The cabin is clean and cozy with comfortable beds and hot shower. It has a mini fridge and coffee maker. I definitely recommend this place and I will be staying here every year. The owner is very friendly too.

The cabins are nice with a rustic look inside, also nice and cozy. We would stay there again if we go back to see family, the cost was reasonable and the host is super nice and take pride in how the experience is. Worth staying there.

It was such a nice cozy little place. Reminded me of past times camping with family while growing up. Pat the owner went out of her way to welcome you. We would stay again. Last time in Cadillac I was about 15 some 59 years ago.

Stayed in one of the smaller cabins, sporting northwoods decor with wolves. Absolutely beautiful cabin, nice home-like feel. Very comfortable. Hostess was sweet, very nice and welcoming.

My son and I stayed there , and the owners were very nice. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Convenient to all the things we wanted to do. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Owner was awesome! She was very friendly and helpful about places to eat. Loved the cabin was very clean. Has ac ,heatlamp in the bathroom,all kinds of coffees and teas. Beds were comfy, parking was right in front of door. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend to our friends and family. P.S. There is cute decor all over and gotta take the time to read the signs on outside wall of office building to have a couple chuckles!

Great little spot and Patrica is an awesome owner. If your looking for a private space while visiting Cadillac, MI, this is perfect. Everything was exceptionally clean and the place was decorated like a home, not a hotel. Even the little things were covered like coffee, shower gel, shampoo, & conditioner. We went there to ride our motorcycle all over Northern MI and parking here was just fantastic. I had room for my truck & trailer as well as my bike. We rode all over MI during the day and returned here for our home base at night. Pat was very helpful and kind. She even helped w/little things we forgot. We most definitely would stay here again. Thanks for everything, Pat!

We had a wonderful stay at Birchwood Resort this past weekend! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The property is incredibly clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Our cabin/room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax and feel at home. What really sets Birchwood apart is the attention to detail and genuine hospitality. It’s obvious the owners take great pride in making every guest’s stay special. The location is perfect—close enough to enjoy everything the Cadillac area has to offer, yet quiet enough to truly unwind. The resort is within a short walk of the lake and offers cabins, motel rooms, and RV sites, making it a great option for different types of travelers. If you’re looking for a cozy, clean, and relaxing place to stay in Cadillac, I highly recommend Birchwood Resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and are already looking forward to coming back.
