Nice facility and great location. We had one of the pods. It was quiet, but there was ridiculously little space in the hall around the sleeping cubes and lockers.

What a great find. An amazing conversion of an old church which has resulted in a stylish, spacious bar and restaurant area. The room is compact (as advertised) but contained all we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the aircon worked efficiently. The pre booked breakfast was excellent and good value. We walked around the pretty canals and found a lovely vegetarian restaurant for dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Really amazing place! the only negative I can pick is that I would suggest is that they sort out the loudness of the doors when they close. Especially the main glass door linking the restaurant and the rooms. It gets opened so much and the banging can go on for 10 mins at a time. I was on the 2nd floor, and it's banging continuously every 10 seconds, it's not great at 2am in the morning. Saying that I would definitely stay again, staff are amazing, the place is buzzing, vibrant, location is great. Rooms are small but perfect! everything you need

Stay 3 nights at Bunk Hotel , Location is very convenient, staffs are kind , friendly and helpful. I must say that my room 35 where is on the second floor was quiet even there are restaurant and bar on the o floor. But during the stay. I was satisfied with the environment , chill vibes !

Een fijne kamer, efficiënt ingericht. Leuk en hip hotel. Behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. We wisten niet dat er onze laatste nacht een aantal optredens in het hotel gegeven zouden worden, en dit was duidelijk hoorbaar op onze kamer. Dat was wat minder fijn.

Well located hotel, well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but well designed to maximize useful space (eg high beds so luggage can be stored under with lighting under bed) and are comfortable. While the hotel has elevators some rooms require lifting luggage up stairs.

No thrills place as far as rooms are concerned. Just a bed and bathroom. Optimal if you’re just needing a place to lay your head. Room clean, Staff were great and a great lively bar/restaurant downstairs.

Wow! Architecturally and design wise the place is worth a visit. Clean, modern, generally friendly - delightful chat with Kuni over breakfast one morning. She filled me in on the church conversion. If you're getting a bunk and have any sort of mobility issues, be sure to ask for a lower bunk. Although I managed to clamber in and out of my second tier bunk, it's not necessarily for everyone. Location is superb. Breakfast is pricey but so is everything else in the Netherlands, as I learned.

The hotel is in a great location and affordable for the capsule pods. However, I noticed an odor in my otherwise clean pod that smelled like someone nearby who hasn't bathed in a while. If the pods could be deodorized that would be a big improvement

Sehr hilfsbereites freundlich Personal. Tolles Konzept! Im Schlafsaal sollte man keine Platzangst haben. Fühlt sich ein bisschen an wie im MRT ;) Sehr wenig Platz außerhalb der Betten. Gute Kissen und Bettdecken. Man bekommt nur 1 Handtuch egal wie lange man bleibt. Die frischen Betten werden leider auf dem dreckigen Fussboden abgelegt und dort gewechselt - ist sicher dem wenigen Platz geschuldet. Fand ich nicht schön zu sehen.

I had a great experience. I had a room with a private bath so that helped. The room was modern and clean with very cool colored mood lighting. The self-serve check in and check out process was very smooth, no lines/waiting. There's a great energy in the main hall/bar/dining areas making it feel like your own kitchen/living room. But the best touch was the neighborhood cat (William I believe?) who would visit and lounge in the common areas. I loved this. Sitting next to him and giving him pets while drinking a beer made the place feel very homey.

It was a fantastic building, must have been an old church. It was clean, the bed wasn't too soft (as they usually are at hotels), and I didn't need to interact with any staff. But the ones I did were very good, they predicted my needs before I could tell them what I needed and helped me with everything. The one and only bad things was that every noise from the corridor outside could be heard into the room, so it was difficult to fall asleep. I did fall asleep after a little while, but I would have enjoyed more peace and quiet.

It’s an interesting building, but not a very comfortable place to stay. Too hot, no ventilation, and rooms too tiny to even open your luggage. Staff is friendly but fully incompetent - they’re all kids with no clue what’s going on. Also, the restaurant food tastes like a failed science experiment.

Hele fijne en mooie schone kamer. Alles wat je nodig hebt in een kleine ruimte. Helaas konden mijn ramen niet open, waardoor het erg warm werd op de kamer. Je kan wel speciaal nog vragen om een kamer met ramen maar ik bleef maar 1 nachtje dus vond het niet nodig.

Hele fijne en mooie schone kamer. Alles wat je nodig hebt in een kleine ruimte. Helaas konden mijn ramen niet open, waardoor het erg warm werd op de kamer. Je kan wel speciaal nog vragen om een kamer met ramen maar ik bleef maar 1 nachtje dus vond het niet nodig.

I came to Utrecht to escape the noise and crowds of Amsterdam — unfortunately, staying at Bunk Hotel was the opposite of that. This place feels more like a restaurant and paid co-working space than a hotel. During the day, it is completely packed. If you’re lucky, you might find a wooden stool to sit on — actual work or lounge spaces are essentially nonexistent. Every desk and table is occupied across the ground floor, first floor, and even the guest-only third-floor area. The staff are also extremely rigid about checkout times. Despite the fact that pods aren’t cleaned for hours afterward, guests are required to check out at exactly 11:00 AM. If you don’t, expect repeated, cold, and frankly rude knocks right next to your bed — not a great experience, especially in a pod setup. The concept itself is interesting, and on paper it sounds great. Unfortunately, a good concept doesn’t always translate into good functionality, and in this case, it really doesn’t. If you’re looking for a calm, comfortable stay or a place to actually relax or work, this is not it.

The location is perfect especially after a train journey to Utrecht, located about a 5 min walk from Utrecht central station. The hotel its self was very clean, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The beds were also really comfortable.

Overnachten in een Pod is een heerlijke belevenis, je slaapt a.h.w. in een soort van cocon, met een gordijntje sluit je je af van de buitenwereld en slapen maar, in de veilige holletje! (Het heeft nog verstelbaar moodlight ook) Verder is de staf uitzonderlijk vriendelijk.

Le cadre est incroyable, dans une ancienne église réaménagée (l'orgue est toujours là !). A deux pas de la gare centrale, et très près du centre. Le restaurant est excellente, que ce soit pour la petit-déjeuner ou le dîner. J'ai choisi une capsule et le lit et l'oreiller étaient très confortables.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at BUNK Hotel Utrecht. It is right across from the train station and the historical area which I found to be very convenient. The area felt safe and it was very easy to check in. I rented a private room which I found to be very clean however please note - there is still some noise from the dining area downstairs.

Rigtig godt hostel, som jeg mere ville kategorisere som et hotel. Bygget ind i en gammel kirke hvilket gav det meget charme. Personalet var enormt venlige og da vi ankom havde de opgraderet os fra fælles sovesal til privat værelse, uden ekstra betaling. Også rigtig godt morgenmad og drinks! Desuden placeret 5 min fra Utrecht station, så 30 min med tog fra Amsterdam.

Great location for a hostel. Just a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from the train station. I used this as my base and took the train to other parts of The Netherlands to explore. The city is gorgeous and relatively quiet for a city. There's a large shopping mall, plenty of dining options, a major station which you can take to connect to international trains. There's also plenty of beautiful streets and canals to run along if you enjoy running. The hostel is clean and staff are very friendly. I would recommend not leaving anything in your bed as the last night I was there someone stole my extra battery pack which I had charging while I filled up my water bottle. It was unfortunate but all other valuables we're secure in a locker.

Le lieu est super beau assez facile d'accès pour aller à Amsterdam et Utrecht vaut aussi de détour ! La cuisine est délicieuse et la chambre est fonctionnelle et les lits confortables.

The location is perfect especially after a train journey to Utrecht, located about a 5 min walk from Utrecht central station. The hotel its self was very clean, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The beds were also really comfortable.

The sleeping pods were very comfortable, the shower facilities were great and It was very quiet during the night. The location is fantastic for accessing everything in central Utrecht.

Well located hotel, well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but well designed to maximize useful space (eg high beds so luggage can be stored under with lighting under bed) and are comfortable. While the hotel has elevators some rooms require lifting luggage up stairs.

It’s an interesting building, but not a very comfortable place to stay. Too hot, no ventilation, and rooms too tiny to even open your luggage. Staff is friendly but fully incompetent - they’re all kids with no clue what’s going on. Also, the restaurant food tastes like a failed science experiment.

What a great find. An amazing conversion of an old church which has resulted in a stylish, spacious bar and restaurant area. The room is compact (as advertised) but contained all we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the aircon worked efficiently. The pre booked breakfast was excellent and good value. We walked around the pretty canals and found a lovely vegetarian restaurant for dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Das Frühstück war nicht so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Ich habe Classic Frühstück gehabt mit 2 dicken Scheiben Brot, kalte Baconscheiben, halbe Mettwurst gebraten, etwas gebratene Champignons und ein pochiertes Ei. Sehr Fettlastig! Ich hatte keine Ahnung wie man das auf zwei dicke Scheiben Brot verteilen soll. Der Service war sehr freundlich aber nicht besonders zügig.

Das Frühstück war nicht so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. No thrills place as far as rooms are concerned. Just a bed and bathroom. Optimal if you’re just needing a place to lay your head. Room clean, Staff were great and a great lively bar/restaurant downstairs.

Wow! Architecturally and design wise the place is worth a visit. Clean, modern, generally friendly - delightful chat with Kuni over breakfast one morning. She filled me in on the church conversion. If you're getting a bunk and have any sort of mobility issues, be sure to ask for a lower bunk. Although I managed to clamber in and out of my second tier bunk, it's not necessarily for everyone. Location is superb. Breakfast is pricey but so is everything else in the Netherlands, as I learned.

I enjoyed my stay at Bunk Hotel. My favorite part was the free common space, which was perfect for getting some work done and grabbing a bite to eat. I stayed in a top pod, which was a bit of a climb to get into, but aside from that, everything was fantastic!

Bunk Utrecht was a great stay. It’s close enough to Centraal to walk with luggage, and the restored‑church setting gives the lobby and restaurant a really unique atmosphere with a solid crowd. The box‑bed setup feels private and well designed, and the bathrooms were consistently clean and well maintained.

Tolle Location in einer umfunktionierten Kirche. Sehr zentral gelegen und man ist mittendrin. Barrierefreiheit ist etwas eingeschränkt aber mit Hilfe des Personals machbar. Für einen City Trip empfehlenswert. Preis-Leistung ist jedoch bedingt gut.
