Stayed 2 nights

I booked two rooms for two nights in this hotel for 3 Jan 2025. One for wife and me, the other room for our daughter and her friend. Firstly our room's shower hot water heater was broken. We were given another room and the water run warm-ish but clearly the heating unit was on it's last leg too. (controls wobbly and warm water only possible with very low pressure) Then when our daughter and friend were getting to bed they noticed the beds in their room were full of little ants. When we alerted the receptionist she insisted that the ants were somehow our fault?? Considering we just checked in that evening I didn't really know how to respond to that... She then suggested that the ants could be wiped out of the sheets and that would resolve the issue! I wonder would she herself like to go to that bed. Anyway, after some heated negotiations she reluctantly agreed to change that room too. But she was not happy to help us. We used one small hand towel on the floor onto which we stepped out from the shower, as you do. However, when checking out they charged us 200 baht hecause the towel got dirty on the floor. And that part is true, the floor was really dirty. Clearly not properly wiped or cleaned for a long time. I thought that was actually funny - they didn't clean their rooms and charged us money because because of that. The hotel was like a joke scketch from a TV comedy, or from a hidden camera show. Not funny at the time, though. Worst. Hotel. Ever.

Stayed 14 nights

This property is a mixed bag. Started off well when manager bought a hit water kettle for morning coffee when I asked about one in my room. But problems built over two weeks. Key cards failed 3 times. Air Con failed in last night. BTW I lost one of the key cards through a hole in my pocket, and was charged a ludicrous 400 baht for it. On two nights, neighbors packed in an adjacent room had loud drunken parties late into the evening. Eventually management did quiet them down, but, having already had to change rooms due to loud wrecking ball construction outside my window, I wasn’t in the mood. There is no elevator to the upper floors. The “balconies” are just a 2x2 outdoor space where smokers can do their thing - no chair, no table, and definitely no view. The price was reasonable, but it’s quite easy to find better for the same or less. The location is very good, a short walk to great little riverfront walking street, 7/11, ATMs, and excellent night street food.
