Emporium Hotel South Bank

Fabulous hotel in a great location

Another lovely stay at The Emporium, great location, very attentive staff. Love the cafe for breakfast, nothing is too much trouble for staff. Can't wait for our next stat, our home away from home.

Everyone was very accommodating, food was excellent and all services were perfect

This hotel is very similar to staying at a Las Vegas hotel - lots of mirrors and glass - lots going on visually. There are impressive technological displays of koalas, fish, swimming mermaid, and flowers in the glass panels of the elevators. The room was very large and clean. The bed was really comfortable, water bottles and coffee pods are replenished daily. They even had decaf coffee pods. The bathroom has a glass sliding door as well as transparent glass between the bed area and bathroom that can be made opaque at the touch of a button. That was really impressive. Rooms include bathrobes and complimentary slippers. The slippers have zebra stripes on them and are really cute. There is a wet bar area with wine glasses and sink, a mini-bar and a wine fridge (incur fees). The bell service for luggage is very helpful. There is an infinity pool on the rooftop which we didn't use because it was always too busy. It looks beautiful. The location is perfect to Southbank, trains and restaurants.

stayed overnight at Emporium to see a show at QPAC. Easy walking distance. Saturday night markets were on too at Southbank. Fun night. Amazing room. Very expensive though, but is that Brisbane in general these days?
