This is our 3rd summer visiting Adventureland and we always stay here! It’s extremely clean, the pool is small but water is a great temperature (lukewarm!) and the beds are comfortable! Great price too! Can’t be beat!

Exceptional. Highly recommend. Parking was perfect. Front desk was hospitable, warm and welcoming. The gentleman who checked me in was very knowledgeable. He gave me options for quick exit and entry into the hotel, from the side doors, using my door key. Very clean hotel. Very quiet. I had a fourth floor room. Very well appointed. I absolutely love a walk-in shower. This room has a rain water showerhead. The breakfast was Delicious. The outdoor seating was pure serenity, overlooking a pond. I would stay here again & Again. I was pleased, comfortable, and felt valued from the moment I entered Best Western Premier Ankeny! The seafood restaurant next-door is a welcome respite for a delicious meal!

This hotel was clean and well kept. The only 2 things we did not like is that you are unable to have room temperature lower then 68 degrees even when you call regarding room being too warm and they do not offer free breakfast with room. They had a very nice outdoor area to enjoy. Pool was small and so very crowded and not enjoyable No hot tub.

We loved the atmosphere and how clean and modern looking it was. It was a last minute booking for our travel baseball tournament and it was well worth the money. We loved walking around the pond and the patio with the We will book here again next year

Very clean and quiet with ample parking. For some reason, doesn’t provide pillows for sofa bed. Breakfast selection was a bit disappointing. No bacon, bananas, yogurt. Raisin Bran was stuck in dispenser. OJ was very watery. We had stayed at a Kansas City BW a week ago and it had more items, better quality.

The room was fine, but i noticed what appeared to be dried blood spots on the chair and stool.... after that i was skeptical of cleanliness. Thankfully my stay was short. I was sad to see the pool didnt have a hot tub. Otherwise staff was nice enough and lobby area is very clean.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We particularly enjoyed the back patio in the evening after an all day bike ride on the nearby High Trestle trail. It is a lovely setting on the pond. The bed and room were very comfortable

Very disappointed that there was not a continental breakfast. When you pay over $100 a night the least they could do is feed you breakfast. Our bathroom vent looked like it hadn't been cleaned since opening day, don't know how the air could flow or if it even did. Shower area needs a lot of work - peeling away from the wall, caulk missing, and water pressure not there. Every night the hallway was very noisy - people slamming doors(opening and closing), people gathered and talked very loud.

This hotel was recently remodeled and it was great, especially for the price! The rooms, beds, bathrooms all were new and clean. The breakfast was good with hot scrambled eggs and sausage along with your cold breakfast options. The staff are all very friendly. Our only problem was their internet was down the night we stayed, but other than that it was great.

You must get rid of the ridiculous sliding barn style bathroom doors. We have stayed here a few times now and everything else is great except those doors! They provide little privacy and typically are hard to maneuver.

Our air conditioner did not work. Sleeping in 82 degree room was not comfortable. The staff did all they could do, but since we reserved wth Expedia, we only received 100 off. We should have received a full refund

A man opened the door to my room while I was napping. I inquired at front desk who would have key card to my room besides me. They said no one. I asked why then did a man open my door at 4:07pm while I was napping? Their reply was so sorry, that must have been maintenance. Seriously? Unacceptable.

Absolutely worst customer service. The website is a lie, they dont serve free breakfast, you have to pay for it. If you dont request housekeeping a day in advanve they wont clean your room, but they dont tell you this. If you dont put your towels outside the door you wont get new ones and they dont tell you this either. The housekeepers are EXTREMELY RUDE AND CLUELESS.

Lots of road construction right now ~ slowed down the drive time, but still easy to get to. Very comfortable beds and it was quiet. Just off of I-35, super easy to jump back on the interstate in the morning.

Room was very nice. Good location. Only knock against it was the breakfast. I didn't care that we would have had to purchase the breakfast, it was more about the options that were available to purchase. I don't mind paying for breakfast at all, but if I am it should feel more premium

Beautiful property and cleanliness level. Sub attentive staff and truly sub par breakfast. No coffee, everything needed refilling and very messy. Hope it was just a bad day.

Breakfast is not included. They have a menu now and prices seem resonable. This is not noted in expedia that breakfast is not included.

Room and staff were great. The bad thing was, I thought all Best Westerns offered free breakfast…not this one! They offer breakfast, but it will cost you. Was not a fun surprise. For that reason I won’t be back, I’ll go back to staying at the Hampton or Home2Suites across the street when in town where I won’t have the added cost of paying for breakfast.

Despite several other posts - Expedia has not updated the listing to reflect that breakfast is not included. The cost savings for one traveler is likely enough that it was not an issue for me but it would have been bothersome for a family traveling. Otherwise great property I’d stay again.

Very clean and quiet with ample parking. For some reason, doesn’t provide pillows for sofa bed. Breakfast selection was a bit disappointing. No bacon, bananas, yogurt. Raisin Bran was stuck in dispenser. OJ was very watery. We had stayed at a Kansas City BW a week ago and it had more items, better quality.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in years, and I travel A LOT. Large parking lot. Airy and attractive building. Excellent check-in, fast and efficient. Quiet elevator. Large clean room with everything that works. The area was quiet, in spite of being by the freeway; didn’t hear road noise at all. Well-done breakfast setup and plenty of table seating. Another nice room in lobby to sit in. I wish every hotel I have to use was as nice as this one. 10/10. Would absolutely book there again!

The parking lot had quite a few weeds in every crack so aesthetically it was disappointing. The curtains and sheers we very difficult to open and close, maintenance needs to fit them. The sink drain would not stay closed so you could not fill the sink with water for shaving so I waisted water letting it run. The shower makes up for it though as it is really restrictive but I assume that is a requirement as it is in many places.

We always enjoy our stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful yet very much in the background. My room was getting cleaned, yet I never once saw a housekeeping crew! They have a very nice breakfast and its included in your stay. The rooms are nice, clean and very comfortable.
