The walkway down levels is very steep and slippery

Freezer clogged, hair dryer didnt work, pool needed cleaning mossy in certain areas

Older style motel but interior modern. Plenty of space for parking for our car and trailer on the access road within 50 metres of our room. Slghtly more expensive than our previous motel in Gympie but it's worth it for the closeness and parking in a safe and quiet street. Will will stay there again.

Booked for one night as convenient overnight stop. Surprised to find we were right beside Gold and History Museum and a lovey park full of birds, which we took time to visit. Only problem was restaurant not yet open.

good stay while passing through on a trip south from Central Queensland. after hours check in was simple an dth eroom was neat and tidy. I chose this motel as i was towing a trailer and they had plenty of parking space. will be back again

Stayed 2 nights on a late arrival easy key access on arrival room was great everything you need for short stay. Good clean & friendly staff

The bathroom had a lot of black mould, and no window or fan for ventilation. The room was advertised as a queen with twin and when queried we were informed that 'twin' means a single bed. The definition of twin is 2...... The in room information advised that we could hire a trundle bed for $15 but when we asked about it we were told they didnt have any (we were not told there were none available, we were told there weren't any, at all). This resulted in 1 of us needing to stay at another location on very short notice (4pm checkin). We are extremely disappointed with the service and quality under the new ownership, as we have stayed with the old owners before and the previous experience was always excellent.

Wet tiles in toilet, bathroom area. Possible leak. Had to wipe it up with a towel. Very ordinary experience.

I travel for work frequently and I stay in a lot of Motels, Motor Inns etc. This Motor Inn is the worst I've ever stayed at. The room was dusty, the aircon / heater filter was absolutely filthy (completely clogged with dust) and couldn't be used, the cups had lip marks and coffee stains still on them, the toilet was filthy and the basin looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The tiny bar fridge looked as if it was covered in mold. If they can't get basic cleaning right then I can only imagine how they "Covid Clean" in-between guests stays? The website mentions a restaurant however this is now a make shift storage room. The most unbelievable part is that they charged $261 per night! My employer pays for accommodation so this doesn't come out of my pocket however this is $100 p/n above most all other options in Gympie! Just an obvious price gouge based on availability at the time. I would avoid staying at Fox Glenn Motor Inn at all costs, even if this means sleeping in your car for the night (just as cold but 5 x cleaner)!

When we arrived the receptionist was ok, to the point one might say. Apparently a 'guest' would not leave and a police car was present. We got in the room and made sure the door was securely locked! The room itself was clean tidy, the fridge was a bonus. Noise from the highway was a bit noisy. The aircon was good.

Filthy ill maintained property, bathroom dirty in need of repairs and cleaning. Yard and grounds have broken furniture and old mattress lying around scattered among weeds

Comfortable room. Bruce Highway traffic was loud, especially with windows open. As a strict rationalist I was happy to see the 13th room numbered "13", unlike some motels I have seen where the 13th room is numbered "14".

Room was large. Nice big windows for fresh air. It was a bit noisy from the highway traffic

Very easy to find. But the noise from traffic on the HWY was pretty bad, I know it will be better as there was road works and when the new HWY is finished it will be an excellent place to stay. PS not the owners fault just Gympie council at its best.

Property was convenient to where we had to go the next day. Updated rooms were a pleasure to be in

I arrived and the office was already locked up for the day. People were inside moving about and saw me standing there looking for help many times but would not come to the door so I could pick up my key. After 15 minutes, I knocked loudly and a woman came and just started yelling at me for bothering her. Once she finally let me speak, I said I had a reservation and needed my key. At that point she said she had called me but I had received no call and confirmed I had no missed calls. My key was in the safe and after more grumbling she got it out and gave it to me. The room was shut up and smelly. The bed had a huge dip and was not good for sleeping. The bathroom was fine and clean enough. The room did have a small fridge and microwave, as well as a hot pot. There was NO identification on the hotel as Fox Glenn as shown in the picture here. I would never stay here again, nor would I recomment the place to anyone.

Rooms are modern with fresh fittings. Good shower, reasonable bed, good aircon, items in the room work. The lady at the reception does NOT understand customer service or her role as a 'reception'. She made me feel unwelcome. I almost felt compelled to apologise for coming as she was obviously disappointed for taking her time to serve. There was nobody at the reception and I was ringing the bell. No one came for a long time. There were no chairs where to sit and wait. After about 15 minutes wait I heard her voice from upstairs saying 'coming' There are no signs of entry and exit. There is no 'clarity' of what means ground floor for her. The parking in front of my room was taken and most places in front or near my room were taken. I had to park far away. I have mobility problems. The entrance and the street level appear to be unfinished, or unpaved. It was dark but it was not obvious where to park and where was the reception. It was not obvious to see where was the 'ground floor' she refered to. Even if the room was good, I will not stay in this establishment again. I felt mistreated by this unwelcoming person. Even if there was no argument I felt the person did not want to 'serve' at the reception and lacks of communication skills. It appeared to me the lady was the management of the place and the whole place has her inprint. No matter how well these rooms are fitted, this place is Not for me.

We did get woken up at 4:30 am by loud guests shouting outside our room and also revving their big engines. However staff were helpful and friendly when asking for dining options.

Staff were extremely helpful after I slipped on the wet bathroom floor.
