Free breakfast and a cold pool

The Hotel is modern and clean. Great for an over night stay. The only complaint is the indoor pool which was ice cold. My kids lips were turning blue. Not sure why it isn’t heated.

Housekeeping staff are wonderful keeping all areas of the hotel in tip top shape, especially the guest rooms. Breakfast is wholesome, gym and pool an added bonus. I highly recommend this property. We visit Beacon NY frequently [we have relatives who live there] and usually stay in Fishkill. Of all the places we have stayed, the Comfort Suites Fishkill is our favorite. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good [free] parking and great coffee. Breakfast is pretty normal for most hotels.

The hotel was not crowded at all during the mother's day weekend. The breakfast was enjoyable with very good variety. I was slightly disappointed in the gym. There were no disinfectant wipes available, some of the equipment did not work, and there were no headphone plugs on the treadmills. The condition of the gym was slightly dirty. My room had a broken lamp with exposed wires and one arm on the desk chair was loose. Small details like these can be detractors. The hostess, however, was very cordial and acomodating.

Property was clean. Suite with two doubles and couch was spacious. Good sized bathroom but slippery tub. Pool was small and shallow, really only appropriate for kids or to cool off. Breakfast was ok. Nescafe coffee a disappointment. Yogurt, bagels, waffles, oatmeal, cereal and orangesand apples on offer. Air conditioner was very loud.

Almost no water pressure in the shower. Had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk before I could check in. Others were also waiting as well. Very small pool and water was very cold.

Stayed for two nights while visiting family. Haley was very friendly and helpful; the fitness center was very nice; and I could walk over to one of my favorite diners (I-84). I would pick this hotel again.

Very easy check in. Room was large and clean and the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was free and had good options. Only downside was that the pool was way too cold.

While the rooms were very large the entire hotel smelled like wet, dirty socks. We changed rooms but could not avoid the odor. It was unbearable. I wouldn’t stay again.

The staff here were ***GREAT*** Very helpful, very nice, very welcoming, very informative. Location is super convenient right off the interstate, there are many great places to eat in downtown Fishkill. But the lobby & hallways smell like industrial solvents, and the gym and stairwell smell like a mold/mildew infestation. The things like soap, coffee, ice bucket, etc, n the room could not possibly be any cheaper than they are. Did we accidentally book motel 6? Not sure we would repeat unless options were limited

The whole place was spotless! The staff were amazingly helpful with the needs of our group...there were 14 of us! The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you for a memorable stay!

The continental breakfast area was dirty, used the juice machine and fruit flies came out. The room was okay, was not impressed. I have never stayed at comfort inn before. I guess that’s what they are like

I’m not a picky person, let’s start with that. However, when we walked into our room, it smelled strongly of cigarettes. I called the desk and their solution was they would spray it. However, no one came. The smell never subsided, even with the air conditioning. There was a stain on the top cover of one of the beds. Then we moved a chair to play a family game and there was an empty soda can and food crumbs. This means the cleaning was sub-par in my opinion. I emailed the manager, once again their solution was a quick refresh…Air freshener. That’s not going to do the job. I was told the manager would call me when they returned. That was 24 hours ago and I’ve still heard nothing. When we return next year for the tournament, I will not stay there.

The room was spotless and smelled nice. Also the staff was very courteous.

I didn't take advantage of the pool/gym, but they're nice amenities to have. Didn't eat the free breakfast because the hours served (6-9AM) are just too early for me personally. Other hotels will offer breakfast til 10AM, which is more my speed. Free coffee/hot cocoa in lobby at all times is nice. Snacks and beverages are conveniently located in the lobby too, altho you do pay through the nose for the convenience. Room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, with wide doorways, and walk-in shower. My 1st floor room had a view of a retaining wall. I was mostly in it at night with the blinds drawn, but if you want to wake up to a view of the hills of the Hudson Highlands, stay on one of the upper floors. Streaming TV options weren't offered the last time I stayed, so that was a pleasant surprise this time around. Water pressure in the shower could've been better. The grounds around the hotel are nothing to speak of - hotel is located in an office park (?!) - but having the I84 Diner right next door is convenient. Place is right off I84, a quick drive to quaint Fishkill, artsy Beacon, as well as all the shopping/attractions on Rte 9. Room price was unexpectedly reasonable considering the holiday weekend. Grab a delicious meal and local beer at Fishkill's Dutchess Biercafe, and take the drive to Norma's in Wappingers Falls for coffee and FANTASTIC homemade baked goods. I've stayed here before, and will likely stay here again in the future.

The rooms were spacious with enough room for 2 large suitcases and2 small ones. The beds are more toward the softer side but still comfortable. Lots of desk space and counter space. Staff was nice.

My first time staying in New York and I have never heard of an energy-saving hotel that prevents you from lowering the AC in your room once the temperature outside reaches a particular temperature. Even though it was cold outside, it was very warm in the room, and we had a hard time sleeping because they prevent the AC in your room from coming on.

Very dated.

The pillows were so odd, old, lumpy, and tiny. The linens were also very cheap.

Some noise from hallway and adjacent rooms. Room was large. Beds were comfortable. Adequate parking. Cost was too high for this level of accommodation, so value was below average.

I have never stayed in a hotel room without a closet. For the area there is not many options so it was at least clean and the bed comfortable enough, but each time o would go to hang my coat it would just upset me to think the room seriously had no closet.

We just crashed for a night Just a nice decent hotel. Clean. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds.

The staff, particularly the woman who checked us in, was incredibly rude. In all respects. I would not return to this property, as a result.

Leah was very helpful and pleasant at check in! We had a wedding in the area and wanted an early check in and she accommodated us. Very nice lady and efficient!

The overnight attendant assured us we would get extra pillows after they were done being washed and dried. Apparently 8:00 at night is a good time to wash bedding? Needless to say we never got the pillows.

Clean, friendly and accommodating staff. Have stayed here before and will likely return. Accessible to everything

This hotel was really nice! Alice at the front desk was really sweet, the room was huge, the bathroom was large with a big tiled shower, and it even had individual reading lights next to each bed. We just stopped for a night to sleep in the way back home but wish we could have stayed longer! It is right off 84 so it’s super easy to get to. Breakfast is included and starts at 6 if you need to eave early. It exceeded my expectations for what I paid for!

Our room had a overwhelming smell of chemicals, as if a bottle of perfume or something had been spilled. Other guests smelled our room from down the hallway, and you could smell it as soon as you got out of the elevator. It was bad enough that we would have been sick if we stayed the night. The staff member said she could not do anything and could not contact the manager, maintenance or cleaning people. One staff member said they would come check out the room- but after waiting for an hour, we called the front desk again and the said that staff member was a trainee and was gone anyway. With no other option, we left without staying the night. The staff was not able to refund our stay, the management refused to return our calls and hotels.com was not able to resolve the refund. Finally one manager called several days later and left a message and attributed the smell to the eco-cleaning products they use- essentially shifting the blame to us.

It’s a nice, clean, newer property just off I-84. We only stayed 1 night, but there are a number of historic sites within an hour’s drive. So, our next visit to the area we would consider this property for a hub and spoke few days.

Easy on off freeway. Great little towns to the left and right.

Our recent stay at the hotel was very good. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The room was clean and although you could see some things that were showing signs of age, everything worked. The breakfast was simple and sufficient. The location near I-84 highway and the I-84 diner was great.

The front desk was extremely helpful to me when I needed to print several online documents that I had left at home. Access to I-84 is very easy and the I-84 Diner is a two minute drive.

Stayed one night for a girls trip and it was a great option. Close to Beacon and Cold Springs where we went two of the days we were there.

The area around the hotel is fine with a diner within walking distance. Very convenient location to Beacon, and highway I-84. Hotel's conditions are excellent and clean.

Our first time in Fishkill and I really want to go back. The hotel was nicely maintained and convenient to town and to the interstate. Good staff. The room was clean. Good breakfast. Good value.

Friendly staff with someone available 24/7. Spacious room with all the amenities. The breakfast was average. It would have been to see more variety on the eggs served.

it was fine. bed was comfortable, shower was hot, room was a good size. downsides: room smelled a little like cigarette smoke, a smell that intensified when the air and heat were put on; the pool was freezing, too uncomfortably cold to go in; the breakfast was really limited.

The hotel was OK. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Also, there was convenient parking and the staff were pleasant. But the breakfast was unimpressive (would it be so hard to offer fresh eggs?) and the price was, I thought, too high for the pretty basic accommodation offered. I was there for a wedding in Beacon - my relatives who stayed at the Roundhouse didn't pay much more.

The hotel is everything you need on your journey. It’s clean, large updated rooms, excellent tv, internet and to top it off a great continental breakfast and great coffee. The pool was open but too cold to swim and the gym was well maintained. We will stay here anytime we visit Beacon. Thank you
