Lodges on Vashon

The surface of this stay is a very nicely landscaped property with clean, separate prefab, mobile homes that serve as the “lodges” throughout. These have been souped up with a heated floor in the shower room and a gas fireplace. We stayed in Lodge 14. The biggest problem is that no staff are on site. You can reach them via text, but there can be quite the delay in receiving an answer or you may receive none at all. You are especially out of luck if you run into a problem “after hours,” which is after 5p. Pros: It was clean Heaters in the shower room were nice Shower was nice Bed was large, though with the usual dips in the mattress A staff member did respond to my text after the first night issues The communal space was quite nice, even though I wasn’t able to experience it all The lodges are well-insulated The location is excellent Cons: The lodge is pretty sterile feeling. It could be greatly improved with art on the walls, rugs... One sink in the lodge for both kitchen & bathroom. Not enough bedding options for temp control The pillows were horrific, huge and hard No bedside lamp on the left side of the main bed My access codes to other parts of the property did not work, and no one responded to me about it. The toilet, which is right next to the main bedroom, has an extremely loud flush The couch was gross-looking This place is cute and convenient. It could be improved with more care and attention to detail. It could also be greatly improved by having staff on site

Amazing location walking distance from restaurants and shops. Clean, safe, and spacious accommodations that felt pretty private even among a number of units in the same area. This is a great option for Vashon overnight visits.

Been back twice within 3 months since it’s so great.

Internet wasn’t great but place was great

Two things we would have liked: instructions on operating the fireplace; - and a toaster.
