Midcentury Cool: 3 BR, 2 BA House à Palm Springs, 6 couchages

The property could have been cleaner. There were hairs on the wall, the ceiling fan was covered in dirt and everything felt very dusty. There were large roaches in the home and outside and when I brought the blinds down a large worm fell from the blind. Just seemed like they didn’t clean thoroughly. The jacuzzi did not heat above 98 degrees which was annoying and made it unusable. I did complain to the manager but other than texting to tell me they were sorry nothing was done. I would not select this property again. There are plenty of other homes to rent in Palm Springs.

All good except loss of power.

We had a great stay and would recommend to others looking for a nice house with a pool, hot tub, and fire pit in Palm Springs. No complaints!

The house is nice, description is accurate. Location is fair, quiet neighborhood, less than 10min drive from airport and to downtown. BUT we asked to heat the pool in advance for our stay (50/day fees) we had to contact the team to double check cause it felt a bit chill and the hot tub was not hot and there was a lock on the temperature control system. They said they will clarify with the team, we had no further info but the lock was open the 2nd day so we managed to deal with it ourselves. BUT the house had a funky smell when we entered (like moldy and humid) the main bathroom plumbing system is not reliable, we contacted Acme house support team to have the toilet fixed after using it once but despite sending someone the problem remained, everyday of our 4 days stay. They were MIA from Saturday late at night until I texted again on Monday morning to get some news…to finally say they were sending a plumbing company on Monday afternoon, but we had to check out at 10am so they didn’t even realize how long was our stay…you really don’t want to spend your weekend dealing with a clogged toilet, texting the support team multiple times and wondering if there would be a disaster in the bathroom when you come back to the house after a stroll downtown. I highly recommend making sure that this issue has been fixed for real before renting this house. Communication is not their forte.

The house and especially the backyard and pool was the perfect environment for a get together with good friends.
