Everything about my stay was really excellent. My room was very clean, no old stains on the floor, no weird odors or anything. The women that checked me in was super nice, explained everything and gave me some recommendations for food around the property. I was looking forward to enjoying some pool time, however since I was busy working the whole time I did not get too. It did look nice in there. Breakfast was good, different hot options every day. If you are a breakfast burrito fan, definitely consider staying here. I loved that my room had utensils, dishes and pans. The bigger fridge and freezer was definitely bonus. They layout of the room was great so I could continue working but also able to watch TV without it being right above my head like other hotels. I will definitely mark it as one of my favorites when coming to the Cincy area and I would stay here again.

The first night of our stay, the thermostat in our room did not work. The temperature swung from freezing to baking. If we turned the fan to "low" it blew hot air. If we turned the dan to "high", it was too noisy to sleep. Also, the clicker for the ceiling fan did not have batteries. The front desk sent maintenance the next morning and the young man disconnected the link between the thermostat and the fan. Once that was completed, the fan worked fine on "low". The young man also added batteries to the clicker for the ceiling fan. We ran into the young man when we were checking out and he asked if everything worked well after his visit. Someone should be testing equipment regularly. Other than that, the room was great. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was better than most. Parking was very convenient. The cookies in the lobby were special.

After scouring the landscape for a decently priced, well-located and brand new hotel, i came across the Homewood Inn Suites in Oakley. Many of the others had bad reviews and sounded awful, with dirt, noise and vehicle break-ins. This one on the other hand has proven to be an excellent establishment, and one I would stay at again if i ever have to come back to Ohio and need a hotel in the area.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with nice amenities. Breakfast and coffee were delicious. Texting option made it easy to ask for additional items and ask questions. We did not use the pool as it appeared to have a film on the water surface and smelled heavily of chlorine.
