Buganvilias Meco Guest House

I booked to stay at the Buganvilias do Meco guest house for my best friends hen holiday at quite late notice after my other accommodation fell through… and I am so so glad it did. It was perfect! We rented the entire place as a private booking for 14 guests. As soon as I booked the host Alessandro was very attentive and easy to communicate with. We arrived later than anticipated due to some issues at the airport and he was very understanding and gave us a fabulous welcome. The guest house is beautiful and had everything we needed. We paid to have the breakfast buffet which was so lovely - and Alessandro and his colleagues were so warm, engaging and funny to be around and the good was freshly made and delicious. We also met Pierre at breakfast on one of the days and he was also so friendly and welcoming. It really put us at ease to be around very laid back, funny and hospitable characters. The place was immaculate and in quite a secluded location which was ideal for us! There was a slight issue with the hot water.. But this was resolved. I cannot recommend the guest house enough.. It was so lovely that we didn't even notice the rain! Thank you so so much ☺️
