Reception inesistente, ti inviano messaggi in italiano scadente con le istruzioni per entrare in autonomia e di inviare foto del documento (che non ho inviato).Camera con stuccature sui muri, persiane delle finestra rotta, maniglia finestra rotta. Arredamento della stanza da quattro soldi. Colazione scarsa ma con mini cornetti cotti al momento. Simpatica la ragazza che mi ha preparato un caffè (purtroppo cattivo). No parcheggio auto, lo devi cercare con strisce bianche o blu a pagamento. Solo per informazione, gestione cinese e staff straniero.

No problems getting into the property - good communication from the property in advance and responsive to enquiries. Room was well equipped- kettle and fridge, hairdryer, small safe in the roomy wardrobe and room for my case to stand around. TV (no English stations). WiFi . We're all a bit used to fancier bathrooms in even cheap hotel chains and the shower stall in the room could do with a refresh but it was all clean and the shower was good and hot and worked well. It was a room at the front and I felt I had to keep the shutters closed on returning to the room - high ceilings and bright light from above, but table lamp to add coziness. Breakfast starts at 8.30 and is coffee, some sweet cereals, toast and small croissants. And nice to see the small garden courtyard at the back and eat there. Better than always having to go out looking for something, but with early starts for some of the museums I didn’t always wait around for it. I am quite fit and enjoyed my daily walk down to the historic centre, buses do pass quite nearby so that’s an option too. I felt quite safe walking around the area / back at night - eating and drinking options nearby and the streets are well lit. I found, with a robust case, on smooth castors that walking there with luggage was quite do- able and took less than half an hour. Palazzo Oliveto is a very handy, budget accommodation that was exactly what I had hoped for.

The hotel was nice, Traditional and quirky. However, the railing for the stairs leading up to the bedroom was dangerous. Because the stairs were quite steep it was needed. Breakfast was good. Great location, bus stop on 1 minute walk away.

Tudo bem tranquilo. Auto serviço em tudo: do entrar, preparar café e fazer check-out. O extraordinário foi poder assar os cornetos congelados.

Great location, coffee shops and a convenience store nearby. However I realized it wasn’t until I got in touch with them that I could confirmed the instructions for self check in. And it was a bit odd that two other families had the same issue (they were left outside). The place needs to improve their communication.

Rente en hoteles.com como acostumbro hacerlo,buscada un HOTEL no una recámara. Palazzo Oliveto es una vivienda que alquila habitaciónes, no tiene front desk y por consiguiente es solitario y no hay nadie que te asista. No tiene limpieza diaria, mi habitación estaba frente a un cuarto adaptado como cocina así que se escuchaba un ruido terrible desde temprano. El estado general está descuidado. Me siento decepcionado, yo buscaba un hotel no un airbnb.

A few handrails onbthe steps wouldnbe a benefit. Also this place is not wheelchair accessible and it doesn't tell you that on the site.

It is a bed and shower house. You get what you pay for. With no receptionist, the front door was often left open. I would pay a bit more and go elsewhere next time. Served the purpose nevertheless.

Comfortable, clean, nice renovated bathroom, helpful staff, good breakfast.

The room was not that clean, there was mold on the shower, there were some stains on the wall. The higienic part of the overall room is the reason why I give 2.

El proceso de Check-In fue bastante sencillo, incluso llegando de noche. Buena comunicación previa a la llegada, obtuvimos toda la información necesaria. El lugar está muy cómodo, tiene todo lo esencial, el desayuno es sencillo pero excelente (sencillo considerando que somos de México donde se desayuna muy distinto). Mi único comentario seria respecto a la limpieza de la regadera, el baño estaba muy limpio pero las esquinas y la cortina de la ducha tenían algo de suciedad. El baño es pequeño, pero funcional. Aún asi, vale mucho la pena, está muy bien ubicado, las paradas de bus están muy cerca (1 y 2 cuadras). La chica a cargo es muy amable y atenta.

The property was very clean and quiet at night. I enjoyed how cleanly the place was and the staff were very nice especially with breakfast. Would stay again. Around a 30 min walk from the main attractions across the river.

La zona donde está es muy tranquila y hay algunas zonas donde cenar que están muy bien. A mi gusto un poco alejado de la mayoría de puntos de interés, ya que o andabas mínimo unos 20 minutos o cogías autobús, que paraba relativamente cerca. La limpieza de la habitación dejaba mucho que desear, nada más llegar encontramos unos pantalones cortos sucios dentro del armario, el frifo del lavabo estaba roto, y daba la sensación de que cada vez que lo habrías te ibas a quedar con él en la mano. La tapa del inodoro también estaba completame te suelta. Las pareces sucias, incluso con algún bicho que se ha llevadobun manotazo. El desayuno es muy básico, para los niños no tienen opción de chocolate, cola cao o algo que se le parezca y el lugar donde se desayuna, a no ser que te toque en la terracita, es muy incómodo. El primer día no nos hicieron la cama y al llegar a la habitación esta estaba abierta, afortunadamente con todas nuestras pertenencias. Tampoco reponían los jabones.

The hotel is located in a great neighborhood with lots of wonderful restaurants and pretty easy access to train stations, attractions, etc. The room was disgusting. It was VERY dirty when we checked in but the bathroom was worse. The shower is molding, the shower and sink have trouble draining, lots of bugs. The corners of the room were full of dirt. The main bed was very uncomfortable. The supports on the bed were out when we checked in. My husband took the mattress off and was able to fix it but they kept popping out of place causing the mattress to sag very badly. The courtyard was a mess. Would not recommend staying here.

The water never got hot and the bed was dirty. It was not at all how the picture displayed it to be. We got a different hotel the same night because it was disgusting.

Bathroom was clean with great shower, but no grab bar or shelf for soap and shampoo.Lighting was inadequate.

Siamo stati bene, sia io e mio marito che le bambine. Il servizio è stato cortese a farci rimanere fino al pomeriggio pagando una piccola somma in piu. Le bambine hanno apprezzato il soppalco come una loro stanza privata 😂💕. Un po' meno positivo il parere sulla stanza, non era come ci aspettavamo dalle foto, alcuni punti erano con la vernice scrostata a terra e il soppalco non precisamente rifinito, come la finestra del bagno scrostata.

Very spacious and unique rooms. Very accomodating was a wonderful place.

The room was very comfortable and clean. I was in room 2 on the ground floor though which is right next to reception and the room for breakfast. The noise level at all hours was incredible. They should really sound proof the room if they are going to put guests in there. "Breakfast" consisted of mini croissants and prepakaged crackers. On one day I was trying to get an uber and was just sitting at one of the tables after finishing breakfast. Instead of asking me to leave because service was ending the staff member just turned off the light. Florence city center was a 30 minute walk so the location was convenient enough but unless there were no other choices, I wouldn't stay here again.

The biggest issue was the owner suddenly switching to only WhatsApp without any prior notice when they had been using email exclusively up to check-in. Using repeated email crys for help or the 2 provided contact phone numbets were ignored. Until this owner gets their act together, AVOID AVOID, AVOID

We had a nice stay here. On the other side of the river from most of the popular sites, but still walkable if you’re wanting to get all your steps in plus some! The breakfast was ok, limited options. Staff and check in process was great!

You had to check in electronicly thru phone we did everything the app asked. When done it said checkin accepted will send code was there for 1 hour also trid calling no answer emailed no answer. We called expedia who we booked thru they got us anouther hotel but was not very nice. Had no options it was after 10 PM had to stay. Just all around disappointed.

Owner is very responsive and approachable. Very clean and quiet place,definitely will recommend to friends and relatives.

Lugar bem simples, conforto médio, Bem Limpo um pouco desorganizado, ficamos sem o café da manhã em um dia, era pra começar as 8:00 mas ninguém chegou até 8:40 e por causa de outros compromissos ficamos sem. Quando chegamos também demoramos pra receber uma resposta pelo whatsapp e poder entrar no quarto. Um pouco difícil para achar lugar para estacionar.

It was within walking distance from everything. The room was cute. The breakfast was lacking in choices. They didn’t even know we were tuer the first night even though we received confirmation and told the room and pass code for the door.
