Keflavik Micro Suites

Decent, if small accom in the centre of Kwflavik, very close to the Park Inn (Radisson) and a couple of restaurants. Accom consists of bedroom (double bed) and small bathroom only, no kitchen area but there is a fridge and coffee maker/ kettle on a small table. Accom very clean, handy for airport and perfect for a short stay. Easy parking outside in layby on road.

Very simple, clean room. Quick trip via taxi to and from the airport. They provided some nice snacks that served as a simple, healthy breakfast. Good communication with staff. (Note: there is no front desk, but staff communicates through email - they were quick to respond.) Walking distance to lots of restaurants.

Cheap and cheerful place to stay for a night. Whilst it was all self service with no reception, there was a useful notice board which provided all the info I required including a taxi number.

Lovely Stay for a Short Layover I had a wonderful stay at the Klefavic Microsuites. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, with cozy Scandi-style duvets that made for a restful sleep. The shower had great water pressure and stayed nice and hot. The room itself was perfect for my 16-hour layover—compact yet well-designed. While the Microsuites don’t offer airport transportation, they do provide a taxi number, and the bus stop is just a short walk away. The surrounding area is quiet with not much to do, but it felt safe and was easy to access from the airport. A special shoutout to Ana, who was incredibly friendly and quick to assist me when I needed help at 1 a.m. Her kindness made a big difference in my experience. Overall, I’d recommend this spot for anyone needing a comfortable, convenient place to rest near the airport!

Close to our rental car drop off and so nice and quiet. We parked within 50 feet of our room, which was very nicely decorated and comfy. Having a few snacks and juice in the fridge was appreciated.

We liked the hotel as it was convenient to airport but encountered trouble with accessing our room as we could not find the note with the room # and lock box key. Eventually, we were able to get help by calling a number but not having staff on site made it a bit harder. Other than that, room was clean and had toiletries which was nice!!

The parking is across the street share with another business. The room is clean and decent. Since I read the reviews before booking, I kind of know how to check in and what to expect. We book this hotel to stay for the morning flight the next day. The drive to the airport is around 15 minutes including filling up the gas tank for the rental car. Will stay again if we go to Iceland.

The floor was dirty for our stay. There were crumbs left on the floor and residues on the floor and walls. It looked as if it hadn’t been swept or mopped. That’s really disappointing as cleanliness is the most important thing to me when I book a stay away from home.

My partner and I stayed here after a week of road tripping and sleeping in a van. The room/bathroom was so clean, everything was updated, and the breakfast waiting for us in the fridge was an added bonus.

Very clean hotel.

We could smell a very strong fishy smell in the corridor before we even opened our apartment door. When we walked into the room it made us gag it was so bad. We opened all windows and tried to contact the owners but they did not respond until the following day after we had left for the airport home. They tried to say it was the geothermal water even though we had not run water and the smell was not the light Sulphur smell you can get when you run a tap in Iceland. I think they were trying to insult our intelligence. It was the dreadful fishy smell you get from toilet drains and it was coming up out of the shower drain. I told them I would be wanting a full refund and they have refused. They said, This case has been discussed by management and we hereby decline your refund request. Not sure what they have exactly discussed as they have not engaged with me as they probably think we will never stop there again and are going to write them a BAD review so why bother giving us a refund. My money was paid to Expedia so please do not pay them for our stay in this disgusting smelly apartment. Room 101. I gave them the opportunity to come smell it for themselves whilst we were in the room and they did not respond. Expedia can not allow property owners to do this and as they have refused me a full refund I expect Expedia to take this up with them and refund my account in full.

This in not a true hotel or “suite”. There is no reception desk or staff. It is simply a very tiny room with single pane windows on the side of a busy, noisy street. Directions to get in the room are emailed to you. Very loud all night and bathroom reeked of mildew.

Super clean and budget friendly!

The room was very small and we had a shared door with another room. When you shower the whole bathroom floor gets wet. Theres a parking lot next to the place but fills up quickly. The check in was smooth and easy, and the room was clean though.

Clean room and easy check in. The area around the hotel was safe and offered many dining choices. The Keflavik Hotel around the corner has very good food. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. The wind at night was noisy both outside the front door as well as through the bathroom ceiling fan.

Easy check in, very very small rooms pictures are not correct (atleast the room they put me in) Found it to be noisy but that could’ve just been the people staying there at the time. Good place to stay if you have an early flight the next morning!

It’s in a great location in town but no air conditioning and very warm in the room. Had to have the window open all night and it was still difficult to sleep. There’s a lot of street noise until after midnight when you have the window opened.

Easy and nicely appointed. Found it way to hot at night and no fans to make sleeping comfortable.

Clean and probably the nicest shower of everywhere we have stayed.

Check-in/out was easy and convenient but the place was on the busy road and because of many traffics it was a bit noisy even with the closed windows.

For the price we paid, it was a decent value. Check-in was easy through emailed instructions, room was tiny (but it’s “micro” after all), everything was very clean.

The name microsuite is accurate. It was small but functional. Bed very comfortable. DIY breakfast provided and was very welcome for early flight.

Easy and convenient check in and out system.

I never received information about what room I was supposed to stay in, nor information about how to access the key via the lock box. I showed up, at 11:45pm at night, with no information. I emailed the property via Expedia at that point asking for a refund. 1/2 hour later (after I walked across the street and paid for a room at another hotel) I received a message stating that they sent the information, through the Expedia app, several hours prior to this but here was the information again. There is no record of this earlier email on the Expedia website.

There is no staff on site. Self check in when they email your room # and code to get in, 2 days before arrival.. I booked the day before and was NEVER sent an email with the information. Tried to call the provided # and got a brief recorded msg, not in English or option for it,, and was hung up on. No place to text, or email them. I stood in the rain waiting until I spotted a maid who just happened to be leaving and she got me in. Had that not happened , I would have been out the $ and would have had to try to find another hotel last minute

Wir hatten das Hotel als letztes Hotel ausgewählt, um am nächsten Tag schnell zum Flughafen zu kommen. Da unser Flug recht früh startete brauchten wir auch kein Frühstück und haben uns daher für dieses kostengünstige Hotel entschieden. Direkt positiv bewerten möchten wir, dass es dennoch einige Kleinigkeiten zu essen/knabbern gab. Das fanden wir wirklich rop, danke dafür. Zum Einchecken ist kein Personal vpr Ort, man bekommt einen Code via Email. Das hat sehr gut funktioniert. Leider haben wir das Zimmer nicht verschließen können, trotz mehrmaligen versichen. Am Teöefon wurde uns dann aber zeitnah geholfen und wir waren happy. Vorschlag unsererseit: vielleicht ein Zettel an der Tür anbringen, was man machen muss, damit man die Tür abschließen kann. Am Ende lag es aber an unserer Unkenntnis und durxh die schnelle Hilfe waren wir am Ende wirklich zufrieden und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Für laute Nachbarn kann das Hotel nichts. Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Stayed here with my wife and son before our flight back to the US. Convenient location near airport and good restaurants for diner that night. Would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want as early of a departure as is required from Reykjavík.

The staff left us a nice treat to eat and drink. Very comfy despite the size of the room. Bring earplugs as it is located next to a busy street. Walking distance to lots of food options. Short drive to KEF

Good place to stay for 1 night before or after your flight, it has all the necessities: tea, coffee and a small breakfast in the fridge (water, juice, skyr and an apple for each person). Room is small and clean. Check-in is easy with a code, no reception. Note: you will need a taxi to get here (cost about 30$ USD one way) or bus 55 during the day (have to check options how to pay for it), walking is not a good option. So maybe it will be the same price overall if you book something closer to the airport.

Micro ist wirklich Micro sehr wenig Platz für 2 Personen und das Taxi zum Flughafen ist mit 35-40€ für 10 min Fahrt teuer. Der öffentliche Bus fährt erst ab 7.30 Uhr

Clean as a pin. Very convenient to KEF airport (6-8 minute drive). Unfortunately the road this property is on is rather busy and therefore, noisy at night. We only stayed our last night before a early a.m. flight so not too bad for us.

The apartments were easy to find. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were great, cute and compact, but had everything you'd need. A coffee maker, free complimentary breakfast, a mini fridge and toiletries. Would definitely book again if i came back

Très bonne prestation pour une nuit avant de reprendre l'avion. Proche de l'aéroport. Le plus, un petit déjeuner dans le frigo était offert. Restaurants juste à proximité et parking gratuit facile.

Très petite chambre. Peu de place pour les valises. Très propre et moderne. Lit confortable. Ils nous ont laissé un yogourt, pomme, barre tendre, jus/ café/thé dans la chambre pour le déjeuner. À 1 min de marche d\'un bon restaurant "library bistro". À 7 min d\'auto de l\'aéroport.

Es wurde ein Frühstück im Kühlschrank bereit gestellt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr nah am Flughafen, perfekt für frühe Abflüge oder späte Ankünfte. Kleiner Minuspunkt, es war einbisschen kalt im Apartement.
