Very cosy and relaxing, lovely fireplace and facilities to use. Lots of up to date tv/streaming capabilities if you use these. The bedrooms are lovely, although the mattress is quite firm and the frame squeaks when you move at night.Will definitely be back to relax again.

Perfect quiet location with views of the inlet, close to town, beautiful walking tracks and dog friendly, Lovely to have the birds visit daily and extra bonus having the internet and Netflix. Moonwaters is a very comfortable spot - thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cottage with everything you need for a relaxing break. We enjoyed exploring the area and the walking track down to the inlet. Ample supply of firewood which we really appreciated.

Quiet retreat amongst the trees with plenty of birdlife and very friendly, tame parrots and magpies. The property had everything we needed and in the evenings was good to be able to get Netflix, given TV reception was otherwise poor. There were lots of easy walks not far away and was just great that it was pet friendly and the walking trails permitted dogs so they could come along too. Greens Pool snorkel was a highlight and an easy drive away.

Beautifully place among the karri trees over looking the wilson inlet. It was so lovely eating breakfast on the deck with the parrots and such great views. Lovely walks, great kayaking we had a very relaxing week. Great that we could take our dog too

G’day this is a mixed review. Likes: birds & feeding them, inlet, view, spacious, quiet Dislikes: dining fan didn’t work (hot day when we arrived), no firewood (cold for 3 nights), no curtains to retain heat anyway, noisy fridge (buzzing all night). Otherwise as expected.

Other than the initial issue with the wrong pin code for key box, the stay was enjoyable. Kitchen was fully equiped, which we made use of each night. Plenty of Tea and coffee available. Only had couple of issues on few cool nights. Glass on Wood Heater fallen down on day 3 and we couldnt use afterwards (reported to Owner). Cottage had backup Oil Heaters for the bedrooms we move to family room. Both units the oil heater warmed up, but no fan operationally to aid to curcular heat. Oh Bird seed Jar left in Family room. Had variety of birds come the morning and evening for a fed. Magpies get very close up even tap on the glass door for attention and feeding.. Being a pet friendly accommodation we had to keep our small dog in side when feeding birds. Im not a bird person but enjoyed these few occasions.

We had an amazing few days surrounded by gorgeous trees and birdlife. The magpies were so friendly that they ate out of our hands. The woodfire made cold evenings very cosy, and the piano was lots of fun, especially since we have no musical ability at all. We wish we could have stayed longer, and wouldn’t hesitate to book this cottage again.

Lovely quiet retreat amongst the forests, great base from which to explore the beauty of the area, returning to cosy nights by the fire. Everything necessary was provided. Only negative was the lack of cleanliness.

2 stars for location and view. I would give 0 stars for cleanliness if I could. We are a couple in our 50s with three little house trained dogs that don't drop hair (1 Bichon and 2 Havanese). We booked this place as it allowed dogs and was in a nice location, and had good recent reviews. Cleanliness was mentioned in June by other reviewers. Apparently, this was going to be addressed. But clearly not. I have photos of the amount of thick dust and dirt. We arrived and there were many dirty/dusty cockroach baits and DampRid containers in every room. Not very dog safe! I have asthma and allergies, which have been greatly affected by the dirt and dust. Bar heaters in the main living looked like they were pulled out of a dirty garage after years and not cleaned. Ceiling fans putrid. The amount of dirt and dust under the main bed was repulsive. Wardrobe in main bedroom unusable as full of dirty, old vacuum cleaner, old outdoor furniture and dirty old DampRid containers. Kitchen cutlery and plates were old. One plate was cracked. Dirty wine glass and pot. This place has obviously not had a proper clean in years. I think a bare minimum in "cleaning" is done between visitors. New sheets/quick vacuum etc, but I dont think the owner has personally inspected this property in years. If so, they surely could not be happy with the standard of cleanliness. Fan in bathroom doesn't work. We have stayed in other places with our dogs, but never this disgusting.

The property was dark & dinjy. There was inadequate lighting. One of the bedside lamps didn't work. There were no teatowels & only 3 coffee mugs for 4 people. The outside area was strewn with leaves & debris. The cottage did not live up to the photographs or description. Was very disappointed. Would not recommend Moonwater.

Views were spectacular and nice to walk down to the water. Quite windy while here but that's to be expected with the arvo seabreeze. Was nice to see and hear the different species of birds visiting the verandah. House was clean and tidy. (Piano was out of tune) The only thing we had misgivings about were the dishes and pans. We pulled out a pan to cook and it hadn't been cleaned, was greasy with bits of dirt. There were a couple of bowls of the same consistency - not all, but we checked everything we used after that.

Area was amazing and views were delightful. Property grounds not secure for pets to go outside without being on lead. Property cleanish, cleaned without moving any furniture so lots of dust inside and webs on outside furniture. Peaceful and a great place to go for walks.

We had a lovely 3 nights here, the location is beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice - the balcony and view was great. Dated furniture/basic amenities but that’s what you expect for the price, and it was perfectly comfy. Good internet and smart TV. An easy 5 min drive into town, nice and private from neighbours. The shower water pressure was amazing - at 7mo pregnant I thought I’d want lots of baths but the bath is teeny tiny, the amazing shower absolutely made up for that haha. We would definitely stay here again. Some simple suggestions for the owners to consider: — providing a hair dryer — providing a floor lamp that could be used to read on the couch in the evening/extend over the table to do a puzzle at night - the overhead lights are quite bright — pop a power board or extension cord on both sides of main bedroom bed for a couple to each charge their phones! — salt and pepper grinders! Many coughing fits from ground white pepper haha

Roomy accommodation in a very quiet and peaceful area of Denmark. The outlook from the deck across Wilson Inlet was superb with an amazing symphony of birdsong morning and evening. The accommodation itself is very roomy and rustic although some aspects a little tired. Overall good value for money compared to most other propoerties we looked and especially appreciated it being a dog friendly property so we could bring our fur baby with us. She really appreciated the bush setting and outlook too.

Moonwaters is in a beautiful setting near the inlet but also conveniently located for visiting the town. The cottage is well provisioned with all the basics you may need, the beds are comfortable and the shower has great water pressure! If the weather is not so great there’s comfortable couches and a big TV but we spent most of our time sitting on the deck relaxing and watching the birds come and go. So peaceful. That we booked to return in 6 months time before we left, should reflect how much we loved being at Moonwaters.

We had a wonderful stay, everything worked well and the owner responded quickly and organised repairs immediately. The birds are just beautiful and we enjoyed feeding them in the mornings.

Located in a stunning setting, it had everything we needed for our stay. Nice and cozy. We did have an issue but the communication with the owner was quick and was sorted out satisfactorily. It was also great to stay in a nice home with our dog. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely location, easy walk down to the inlet and access to town, water, and bush. We had a couple issues with bedding but Christoph was easy to get in touch with and responsive. Love the birds.

Views were spectacular and nice to walk down to the water. Quite windy while here but that's to be expected with the arvo seabreeze. Was nice to see and hear the different species of birds visiting the verandah. House was clean and tidy. (Piano was out of tune) The only thing we had misgivings about were the dishes and pans. We pulled out a pan to cook and it hadn't been cleaned, was greasy with bits of dirt. There were a couple of bowls of the same consistency - not all, but we checked everything we used after that.

Second stay for us with our little dog, love it so much. Affordable, comfortable, surrounded by nature, bird life, proprietor most accommodating. Suits us perfectly - we will be back.

great location amongst the Karri trees & far enough away from town to feel in the bush. Good local walks & rides, great to have availability for our pet dog. Had a great rest over the week. Just needing a few repairs - wardrobe door, a couple of outdoor chairs, exhaust fan not working.

This is an excellent property in lovely Denmark and pribably in the town's best location. Karri forest and birds regularly visiting the balcony are the highlights of our stay.

Moonwaters is in a beautiful setting near the inlet but also conveniently located for visiting the town. The cottage is well provisioned with all the basics you may need, the beds are comfortable and the shower has great water pressure! If the weather is not so great there’s comfortable couches and a big TV but we spent most of our time sitting on the deck relaxing and watching the birds come and go. So peaceful. That we booked to return in 6 months time before we left, should reflect how much we loved being at Moonwaters.

Tranquil location surrounded by forest with views to the inlet, you can’t ask for much more than that. At the same time only 5 minutes from town. Great place to stay and our second time in this property now. Will be back for a thord

Wonderful location. Close to inlet and great walking and bike trails. Cottage is rustic with a great deck where parrots and other birds make a stop. Lots of breakfasts outside when weather is warm. Amazing views of the inlet.

Such a cozy cottage with gorgeous views. The house was well equipped with everything you need. Just add food and relax! Loved the walk through the trees down to the inlet. Very nice getaway. 👌

The property was dark & dinjy. There was inadequate lighting. One of the bedside lamps didn't work. There were no teatowels & only 3 coffee mugs for 4 people. The outside area was strewn with leaves & debris. The cottage did not live up to the photographs or description. Was very disappointed. Would not recommend Moonwater.

Entry and house keys a jumbled mess on keyring. Lack of Lighting on front verandah makes it almost impossible to enter key code. Middle of winter, no wood supplied for indoor potbelly fire. (Two old electric heaters which were totally inadequate to heat open plan living area ). Bedroom 1. Electric blanket not working on one side, bedside lamp light flickering on and off. Mould on ceiling in bathroom. Microwave broken (turntable not rotating) Lighting so dim inside you couldn't even see to read. This problem has been mentioned in other reviews of this property ! No cleaning cloths for washing,wiping down surfaces. No instructions for operation of TV and other appliances Compendium filled with outdated information and rubbish. Etcetera. Amenities listed: Hot tub? Manager Christophe was rude and abusive when asked for a trades person to check and repair dodgy electrical appliances and supply wood for stove as stated in the contract. Electrician told us not to use microwave because broken and dangerous. Ditto for bed lamp. Was able to fix electric blanket and he replaced ceiling light bulbs in open living area. No wheelbarrow supplied to transport wood from woodshed to front verandah. Metal wood box situated to the side and behind woodstove very dangerous to have to reach over hot pot belly stove to reach wood for fire. Would NOT recommend this property to anyone.
