The need to pick up keys from Nelson bay feels unnecessary. When we arrived we found scaffolding covering the external of the building, the scaffolding restricted parking and had to walk small children through the scaffold, felt like a construction site. Could not avoid the scaffold. If we had known then we would have arranged alternate accommodation. Inside much of the house was dated and not well cleaned, some of it with old stains that won’t come out. The images on on the oven cannot even be seen to know what setting or temp it is onThe blinds in the room were broken upon arrival making it impossible to close properly this meant the rooms could not be darkened at night. One of the panels even fell out hitting a 9 month old on the head causing a cut and bruising. The doors upstairs cannot be closed without excessive squeezing waking young children. The stairs were also very loud to walk on, I understand the age of the building can’t be helped but it was well over the top.The lack of supplies left at the house is very poor. Even basics such as cooking oil are not supplied and the amount of other supplies means more money needs to be spent just to do basic cooking and cleaning. The port Stephens accomodation group claim this is part of being eco friendly but it feels more like an excuse to save more money by the provider. This and other reasons make this the last time we will stay in a property with this groupThe tech in the house is also incredibly outdated

Great location, very roomy, could do with a larger lounge not just a 3 seater, and generally could do with a little tlc. kitchen and crockery not very clean, shutter blinds broken, and bedroom air cons need attention .

The place is so old and rusted, it looked like it has not been cleaned or refurbished in over 2 decades!
